I can't say enough about Chris and his staff. I originally got my fiancée's engagement ring here a year ago and was stressed beyond belief about the entire process. The staff went out of their way to get to know my fiancée's taste and help me find the perfect ring for her. Better yet, I got the custom ring I ordered in less than two weeks! Fast forward a year and I receive a text message from Carol inviting us to come in to look for wedding rings. We both picked out wedding bands that following weekend and my fiancée ended up getting mine for half off! We are both very picky, so the fact that we were in and out (with a free engagement ring cleaning) in under an hour was impressive to say the least. COVID-19 caused them to close their locations before we picked up her ring. I have purchased several items from Christopher Williams at Weyers Cave location and have been very pleased with the service. The first set of rings I bought I decided I didn't like after all and they were happy to let me trade them in for a whole different set. Recently I had them remove and re-attach all the charms on my bracelet which turned out great. For Christmas I received a new charm, when I went to have it attached, they did it within a few hours so when I returned it was completed. I also left my rings to be cleaned, I had other rings I hadn't purchased from Christopher Williams, but where I had them cleaned did a terrible job. I could not ask for better customer service! My fiancé bought my ring there and it was a little too big. They were easy to reach and get answers about my ring. Staff was very patient as I tried on several different ring sizes and gave their advice to help me feel comfortable with my decision. Once my ring was finished they gave us a gift bag which made us feel very special. One week after my ring was sized they checked back to make sure everything fit and felt right. This review has taken me months to write. I should have done it a while ago; I was waiting for the busy tax season at work to settle. I was looking for Tacori jeweler in Charlottesville, VA. The closest Tacori retailers I could find were in Richmond and Christopher Williams (CW) in Weyers Cave. My fiancé lives in Boston so we were able to visit most of the Tacori jewelers in Boston and near areas. Honestly, no other jewelry stores were able to provide us the service and diamond options and comparable prices as compared to CW. I also visited all of the authorized Tacori dealers in Richmond as well. Sometimes when you enter these stores it can be intimidating especially if you didn't do any research beforehand. I came pretty well prepared about what I wanted and how much my limit was. I did my HW learned a lot about diamonds and pricing of diamonds, and was almost frustrated with the service and lack of bad information provided by other jewelers. CW was my last try in hopes of finding my ring and perfect diamond. I didn't realize CW is a huge jewelry store with lots of friendly associates and jewelry choices. No pressure and very knowledgeable staff. We started our search for the ring and diamond in January of 2013. I was truly impressed by the customer service and was able to meet with the owner Chris, who was willing to work with my price range and getting me the GIA certified diamond of my criteria. I didn't make the purchase during my first visit to the store. My fiancé wanted us to look at few more options in Boston before finalizing the purchase. With no luck in Boston, we decided to work with CW. From January through February of 2013, Andrea, store manger at CW kept in touch with me through phone calls and emails. As requested, she sent me tons of emails with GIA certificates that met my diamond criteria. We must have gone through at least 20-25 diamond certificates. Finally, we narrowed down to final three stones of my choice. My fiancé came down on a weekend; however, Monday was the only day that worked for us. Chris and Andrea both came in on a Monday morning even though the store was closed and showed us the diamonds that we had selected for viewing. At last we made our final pick and were able to get a good price for the ring and round cut diamond. My fiancé ended up selecting his wedding band from CW as well during his visit. As promised our rings were ready in the 4 week time frame since Tacori rings usually take about 4 to 5 weeks. My Tacori ring is beautiful, however, my sparkling triple "X" diamond which is close to a carat and half steals the spotlight! Just wanted to thank Christopher Williams Jewelers for helping my fiance (Ryan) pick out the most perfect engagement ring for me. I truly couldn't have picked out anything better myself. Ryan said CWJ was nothing but polite, exceptional and more than helpful in his process of picking out and purchasing my ring.
