Christos feels like you stepped back in time to the 1990s and you might be in a Seinfeld episode. Stepping in there is no clear indication if you seat yourself. Christos seated us quickly and our experience began. Christos is keen to upsell you on all the goodies, offering wine, sardines, cake, and more. Our food came quickly and, while it was a bit more on the bitter end of Mediterranean flavors was enjoyable. Oddly, there was a single slice of banana in our salads. The grape leaves weren't our favorite and dolmas are one of my beloved dishes. The spanakopita also was so-so, but was enjoyable enough to want a bit more. Christos playfully strong armed us into a slice of cake. It wasn't my particular taste, but for many would be a real treat.

It was a really nice restaurant, and had a nice family-run feel. The staff was just incredibly nice, but I was still hungry afterwards because the portion sizes weren't the biggest. There were also a bunch of flies around our table, and my fiancée had to get another lemonade because a fly flew into her cup. The food quality was amazing, and I would give this place a 3.5/5 if I could

A little piece of Greece in downtown Pittsburgh. The walls are decorated with memories and Greek music helped immerse us in the ambiance! We enjoyed all of our dishes, though it was strange to find banana in my salad! The service is a little slow, though we were served by Christo himself. We'll be coming back to try the famous Jackie O cake!

I was looking for some nice Greek food, and decided to order Christos for delivery. To be honest, it was a somewhat disappointing experience. I tried the tiropita, the galaktoboureko, and the rice pudding. When I received my food from the delivery man, I noticed the bag was soaked with a white liquid. Upon investigation, I realized it came out of the rice pudding. This may have been just an issue with the delivery man, but it could have also been poor packaging from the restaurant. The food itself was pretty good, though. I really enjoyed the tiropita. It was super crispy and flakey on the outside, and packed with delicious, creamy cheese on the inside. The cheese seemed like feta and maybe another cheese as well. Very good and an okay portion. The galaktoboureko was also quite nice. This is a custard wrapped with phyllo. A nice combination of creamy and crispy, too. This dessert came with a somewhat odd lemony syrup that I wasn't the biggest fan of. Quite a bit of cinnamon too, but good overall. The rice pudding was creamy and had a nice amount of sweetness. It is unfortunate that some of it spilled out because the flavor was great. However, once again, it also had too much cinnamon. All in all, this is a solid spot for Greek food. I'd like to maybe go in person because the owner seems like a nice guy. For delivery, it just wasn't that well packaged, but the food is fine.

My dad and I stumbled upon this charming restaurant after the pirates game. We were unable to get any food/beer at the game and were both starving that we settled for this place, and so glad we did! We sat outside which was adorable and a fun spot to enjoy the view and city. The owner was very friendly and helpful. I ordered the baked salmon pireus, which was light and delicious. I loved the seasoning mixture on top of the salmon. The side vegetable and rice pilaf complimented the dish and tasted delicious. My dad ordered the lamb kebab with spanakopita and the meat was so tender. The spanakopita didn't blow me away, but still tasty and very satisfying. We finished dinner with galactoboureko and omg so delicious, airy and light! We couldn't believe how reasonable everything was! We also ordered mousaka to go for my mom and it was so flavorful. My parents thinks it tastes way better than the 2 Mediterranean restaurants we normally eat at. Highly recommend all the dishes I mentioned! I also had wine which was good and again, very reasonable $!!

This was the cutest little restaurant and I enjoyed being served by the owner himself. Make sure you go with good people to enjoy good conversation because their food is prepared fresh so there will be a while before your meal is served. I had the lamb and cheese pie dinner. The cheese pie was my favorite!

My husband and I ate one lunch here. Indoor and covered outdoor seating was available. The employees promptly greeted and seated us, and I appreciated that they recommended specific menu items to help me choose. After a reasonable wait, the foods were brought to our table. Here are my ratings for what we ordered: Grilled Shrimp - 5 stars - Several large, juicy shrimp were on skewers and had been perfectly cooked. Sides were mixed vegetables and a mix of rice and bulgur. Chicken Shish Kebab - 4 stars - The chunks of chicken were large and juicy and had a mild seasoning. On the side was rice pilav. Turkish Tea - 4.5 stars - This black tea was a good size and was served hot. Packets of sweeteners were available. The total price was $55 plus tax and tip.

Falafel appetizer was very, very hard and chewy. Even with a serrated knife it was difficult to cut! Shepherd Salad was fresh but was mostly red and green bell peppers. Very little tomato or cucumber or onion which I was expecting. Not their fault but mine for not knowing about this salad. Again they were super nice and offered to take it back. Donor Kebab was over cooked. Dry. Chewy. Tzatziki sauce was fine. I ordered two extra mini-cups of tzatziki to help me finish the donor kebab. (Extra $1). Bread was very good. I ordered the Turkish Tea but it never came : (

The space is tiny and unassuming, and the restaurant seems to be a family run operation. The interior is much more nicely kept than you might guess based on the outside of the building. The staff were very friendly, and all of our food was well packaged. I strongly suggest taking a look at the "Persian Cuisine" section of the menu; in many cases, that section is more interesting than the Turkish grill. In terms of food, things ranged from excellent to pretty good. The hummus was good and nicely textured, but not exceptional. The kashke ve bademjan was excellent, particularly when paired with the nicely toasted flatbread it arrived with. The Mediterranean salad and Tabouli salad were both nicely done, with a nice level of lemon acidity and some shredded cheese on the side. The veggie kebap was fine, but generally flat in flavor: it really needed some of the sides and some hot sauce to fill things out. The red lentil soup was simple with a subtle spicing but ultimately deeply flavorful. The ash reshteh (noodle soup with beans and spinach) was generally good but would have benefited from toppings that would have probably been provided in a dine-in environment. All told, this was a nice little establishment with some excellent Mediterranean and Persian style cuisine. They seem to churn out some high quality food from what seems like a very small kitchen. I could imagine eating in or ordering takeout, but note that the interior space is fairly small with a limited capacity.
