Was in town for a soccer id camp with my 16 year old, on way out of town found this place from reviews. Atmosphere was that of a fun college dive bar. From the parts I got to see inside was small table seating around the bar. We got lucky to sit in at the outdoor covered patio seating which was great minus perhaps some outdoor heaters to warm it up a bit. Service was good overall. Servers were fun and helpful. Service a bit slow on our drink refills but the food running and table bussing was fast. Food was great, wished I had taken pics to share. Menu consisted of a good selection of apps, sandwiches, burgers and sides. Everything we tried was great. Chicken nachos were awesome, wish they had been a bit bigger but the topping portions was perfect and the taste amazing. The Cuban and fried pork chop sandwiches were again great and the spicy sweet potato fries were so good. Potion sizes were good and the food tasty. The nachos and spicy sweet potato fries were my faves. While probably not the place for young families, this was a hidden gem and fantastic find. Not really for those in wheelchairs as it is tight getting through the bar area, but there was a small ramp I recall. Bathrooms could use some work, about what you'd expect at your local dive bar but only a single stall and could be cleaner. Highly recommend this place. read more

Christy's Euro Pub is such a solid spot and easily one of my favorites in the area. Every time we go, the food and atmosphere are consistently on point. The brunch is especially good -- flavorful, well-portioned, and exactly what you want when you're meeting up with friends or just treating yourself on the weekend. Their burgers are also a standout: juicy, cooked perfectly, and packed with flavor. You can tell they put care into their menu. The appetizers are amazing and perfect for sharing. Sorry thought I posted this in 2019: Love this place. Definitely my favorite spot to grab a drink in Greenville. The food is delicious and the drinks are on point. Popped in here with my boss on a work trip around 5pm on a Tuesday. Very interesting spot - definitely a local college bar. The crowd was interesting with a lot of 21 yr old college girls and then 60+ yr old local blue collar working men. Placed was packed though clearly the locals love it. Christy's is nothing fancy but the service was great - the employees all seemed super nice and hard workers. I got the chicken parm wrap and it was just ok. Beers were nice and cold though , no complaints there. This place is definitely a nice local spot but nothing you absolutely need to try by any means. We have been to Christy's several times and always have a good experience. The place is a little small and if you're going on Sunday you may have to wait in line. Outdoor seating is great on the patio. Parking in their lot can be scarce but there's a big parking lot right across the street. The service is always very nice and usually pretty prompt. I typically get the chicken sandwich and it's always a hit. My husband got the fish and chips which was just one piece of fish. It looked ok! read more

A pretty bad experience overall. Sunday brunch so the place was busy. Very cold and line was out the door. I was expecting a more refined brunch experience but it was more of a college pub, very loud, lots of shots. After an hour and 20 minutes we asked for our food to go. They let people sit as long as they want after their meal while other people want to sit and eat. I saw very few meals actually go to the floor, most people were drinking. read more

Staff could not have been nicer. They were very efficient and helpful even though it was pretty busy. Ordered a bunch of different food which was all delicious. Nachos were amazing, as were the sandwiches and burgers. Drinks are cheap and mixed well. A must try and will be a regular stop for us for the next four years, at least. read more

Christy's is a good neighborhood bar & grill restaurant near the university. When I visit family here I always want to have at least one meal at Christy's. Good selection of beers and great sandwiches and burgers. It is a bit small but it has a very friendly atmosphere. There is additional seating suitable for groups outside in an enclosed space which also has a fireplace for heat in winter. Service is very good. I always have a good time with friends here. The best pub / hole in the wall type place in all of Greenville. The staff works amazingly together and the atmosphere is contagious! Aliyah is a master of her craft! The kitchen puts out made-from-scratch food in a timely manor and is always delectable. Tyler (fantastic and seasoned bartender) also created the recipe for my favorite menu item, the fried chicken tacos! You have GOT to experience a sunday brunch here and try the famous Christy's mimosa! You will be obsessed! Rolled up about 15 minutes after they opened on a Sunday and it was good that we got there when we did as it was packed. We were able to get some seats at the bar immediately which is generally where we prefer. The bartender was super friendly and efficient. Had a Bloody Mary (they asked if I wanted a double, of course!) and their bloody mix is excellent. My girlfriend had the mimosa which she didn't prefer the grenadine that was added. The food does take a little bit to arrive because the kitchen is tiny! Everything was worth the wait. I had the hash brown casserole with eggs and toast and she had the Euro Slam. No clue how they make that hash brown casserole, and it's not instagram worthy but delicious! We will definitely be back to try other items on the menu everything looked great and awesome atmosphere. read more

Even though I hadn't been there before, the staff welcomed me and treated me like a regular. My server was great, informed, and provided excellent suggestions. This was the "Big ass sandwich" that we ordered and it goes to say that we were pretty disappointed with it. When it comes to the size and presentation of the sandwich, this is not what we were expecting at all. It tasted good but we'd assumed it'd be a lot more considering it's called "the big ass sandwich" and it is one of the most expensive brunch menu items they have. If portion is what you're after I'd definitely recommend a different choice. read more

We arrived to the strench of burnt food. I guess we picked the right day to come here as our server informed us that the cooks were being trained. I knew this place was a dive bar when I Yelped it but I wasn't expecting to have the same miserable weather to be inside the place as outside. There is an outdoor patio where a door is constantly opening and closing by letting out the colder air from the A/C while flies are entering from the same door. I really wanted to leave but we were on a time crunch and there were not many options close by. I ordered the pastrami sandwich and my colleague ordered a burger. Our food was actually good, I wasn't quite expecting it. I was nervous that the sweat dripping off our waitress's forehead would land on our food but I think we lucked out on that. We took turns shooing the flies while the other ate. I was so glad that I had someone with me for guard duty. The service was very slow, the service was not friendly and I already brought up the sweat issue. I wanted to take a picture of the flies frolicking on the Paris sign inside but it would have been too obvious. The food saved this place from a one star rating. read more

We came here for the first time hoping it will be a good place to watch soccer while having lunch. Unfortunately they only had two old small TVs inside which the friendly employees had a hard time figuring out from which channel the soccer game is being broadcasted that day. Inside the pub is characteristically interesting but old and tight space while I do not remember there being a TV screen for outdoor tables. The food was okay--not terrible but also not memorable. Dive style / Art Bar.. Their slogan is "It's Like Your Living Room, but You Have to Wear Pants!" I am going to go ahead and say these are the best wings have had in Greenville, NC. They are smoked - (much like the flavor of the wings at Sam Jones´ BBQ) - but these wings are larger and meatier, with more sauce choices.(Alabama White, Traditional Buffalo, House Texas Red Spicy BBQ, and Cajun Garlic.) Christy´s is a favorite hangout for ECU art department students and professors alike. It is a popular place in general (only a few blocks from East Carolina University) - excellent service - and waaay leveled up bar food. They pour a proper Guinness. I think my pint was $4.00 (!) They have daily specials too. And Brunch (I am going back soon to try brunch,) Will Return. Probably Tomorrow Evening. If Anthony Bourdain had ever done an episode of ¨the Layover¨ in Greenville, NC - this is where I suspect he and the crew would have ended their night. Highly Recommended. read more
