TRATTORIA NOLITA Same location, but with a new Italian menu and concept. We were greeted by the manager, Steve, who immediately made us feel welcome. Once we were seated, our drinks came out quickly. We started with the fritto misto, which was absolutely delicious. The seafood was super fresh, and the grilled lemon on the side added a unique citrus flavor that really elevated the dish. For our entrées, we ordered two fungi pizzas. They were more than happy to accommodate our modifications. We kept one as it came on the menu and ordered the second without cheese and substituted the red sauce. Both pizzas were equally delicious and packed with flavor. The truffle oil really brought everything together and made each bite even better. Overall, this new concept is off to a great start. The welcoming service, quality ingredients, and flavorful dishes made for a wonderful dining experience, and I would definitely come back. read more

My travels kept me away from home on NYE, but I was lucky enough to circle back through Greenville and celebrated the night at Julep. The bartender, Russ, truly made the night special. He was friendly, patient, and made everyone feel seen and taken care of. His energy was perfect for the occasion - fun, professional, and welcoming. I have a lot of severe food allergies, but he worked with the chef to prepare a dish that was both safe and delicious. Though my daughter did not choose to attend ECU in the fall, I'll definitely be back if for no other reason than my excellent experiences here at Julep! read more

I wish the ambiance was better and felt that the decor needed some updating but overall, it was a good experience. There was a good selection of cocktails and some of them are very unique. However, my salmon was veryyy salty so that was disappointing. But overall, it was nice time. read more

Bar and Breakfast. We only partook in the bar and breakfast. The bar service is amazing. The drinks are strong and on point. The beer list is large and local. The prices are reasonable but perhaps inflated a bit for being attached to the Hilton. Vibe. The buildout of the bar area is beautiful. While it is a "hotel bar" it doesn't have that vibe at all. Come here and drink - don't let the adjacent hotel component scare you off. read more

This is a very nice restaurant attached to the Hilton. They offer a breakfast buffet as well as a few menu items. I opted for breakfast menu items and ordered the mushroom and sautéed onions omelet with a side of hash browns. Unfortunately, the hash browns were a little too brown for my liking and the omelet had a greasy flavor to it. Maybe I will come back to try the dinner menu. read more

The worst part was having to sit and listen to the kitchen's music on top of the dining room's music even after asking the kitchen to turn it down. The service was inattentive and unprofessional. The menu rotates which is a really fun concept. But if you see the biscuit under the appetizer section at any point, just order it. You'll be missing out if you don't! The service was 10/10. Went there last night and the drinks were good. But 4 people in my group order the smash burger and all the burgers looked and tasted burnt. Was so disappointed because I heard a lot of good things about the burgers. I might try it one more time before taking it off my list. They might of had a different chief or a bad night. I heard that the sauce on the burger was the best part, but on my burger I had a small drop on the bottom bun and on one burger there was absolutely none up there. The meal can with fries, a small cup of ranch, and a small cup of ketchup. Two of our plates didn't have ketchup so we had to ask for ketchup and sauce to put on the burger ourselves. Had an amazing dinner with the best pours in town! The bartenders and staff are extremely professional and fun to be around! The food was amazing, yet they don't have Balsamic Vinegar. The kitchen staff did an amazing job to come up with a solution so I could eat my salad! What a great place to eat when in town for business! read more

The service was casual but very good. My first experience with the restaurant was when they first opened. The food was fantastic. This visit unfortunately the food was marginal. Short ribs were good. The Cornish hen was quite tasty. The salmon was good but pretty much overcooked. The gnocchi had literally 5 gnocchi stuffed with sweet potato and were very good but again overpowered by the sauce and there was too much sauce. The dish should taste like the feature. The starters were overpriced and really weak. Cheese tray was more tray and poor cheese selections. The pork belly wontons came as two ( it says to share) the pork belly was almost untraceable and over powered by the wonton. Apple and goat cheese salad had very little apple and we had to request additional goat cheese. We opted out of desert. Five people $600- a bit disappointing. I expect more from the chef years at Chef and the Farmer. read more

The atmosphere was beautiful and relaxing and the food and service were great. We had stead Frits, peel and eat shrimp and the bitter greens salsa and can't complain about any of it. The only issue we had was that we were the first ones to get sat for this seating time and it took almost 45 minutes to get our lunch. We weren't in a hurry, but when a table that arrived about 15 minutes after us got their food first it was frustrating. That being said, we would still go back. read more

I am staying here now. The bar Bloody Mary drinks are excellent, bartenders are very friendly and professional. The young man at the fron desk is awesome very accommodating and checking for better pricing on rooms with my Hilton Honor. Room services and food choices from restaurant are very good. My wife and I went for breakfast on Friday. Service was bad, had to ask for water 3 times before receiving. My wife's meal came out first, mine was presented well after she had finished. Had to asked for a second cup of coffee. Server didn't bother to ask my wife if she wanted a second cup. Will never knowingly spend my money at a establishment like this. Shockingly bad. Coffee was boiled to death, cooled to room temperature and served with a teaspoon of grounds. My "pancake" was a Sarah Lee sponge cake served ice cold with sliced strawberries, cool whip and a sprinkle of what appeared to be lawn clippings. The eggs benedict burger thing didn't have Hollandaise sauce so much as an unamenable mustard paste goo that left a greasy residue in the mouth delivered at room temperature. This place should just close, rehire new kitchen staff and retrain the wait staff from the ground up. read more

To start off, our service was amazing. I wish I knew about this gem sooner! The cocktails were elegant and very flavorful. We got the wedge salad and the biscuit. The dressing for the salad was homemade and delicious. This biscuit was mouth watering. Get your butts to Julep!!! Julep is a hidden gem. Located beside/inside the Hilton Greenville, Julep is an upscale fine dining restaurant with friendly staff, beautiful and delicious culinary creations, paired with cocktails and mocktails. I'm a big atmosphere person and when you walk into Julep you immediately feel relaxed. The decor is fun and inviting. The owners are down to earth, good people, and work really hard to make sure their guests are cared for throughout their entire dining experience. Pizza oven is really cool to look at when you first walk in. They also use paper straws which is a big plus for me. 10/10 recommend. Plan your next meal at Julep for sure! read more

This place is not affiliated with the hotel but you can still charge food and drinks to your room, thanks for that! Bar tenders are always on point here, drinks are awesome. The common discussion among business travelers while sitting at the bar would be the decor....we really do not like the green and the outdated stenciling. It's actually funny to here folks still talk about the bar makeover color palette and placing linen table clothes over the bar tables. I'll often hear "I don't want to sit at a romantic table for 2 with my buddy for a beer". We definitely like more of a bar vibe when we are here for business. Food is fantastic for sure and the menu changes often. Prices have definitely been inflated since the ownership changed. Now, if you stay the night, breakfast is a different beast. I'm not sure if it's staffing or what but takes awhile to get greeted and served. Food is great! Once you get your meal no one ever checks in on you so be sure to ask for salt, pepper, ketchup, extra glass of water at the start. I have been here for work so much that I typically grab my own coffee from the lobby to bring in because you'll never get a refill. Last week I waited so long for the check that I left and went to my room for a call, came back an hour later to pay! I typically want efficiency during breakfast time because we need to get on the road for work.....this waiting and waiting really needs to stop for sure.
