This place doesn't know whether it's up scale dining or casual hangout. Based on reviews I thought it was going to be a nicer place but it really was just a casual restaurant. I had the filet Oscar and it was good. Wish I had more balanced plate. As you can see I had exactly 3 asparagus.... Idk who okayed that. But then 2 large scoops of potatoes like make it make sense. The prices were high, they were leaning fine dining even though the restaurant itself is not. I think this is more drinks and apps type of place. That was the vibe. Everyone was in jeans and it was a tad noisy. The staff was friendly, most of them looked like college kids. I also had some type of cheesecake for dessert and it was pretty good. I can honestly barely remember that's how average everything was. Just average.

This restaurant is consistently good. The crab dip, Tuna, and Stan The Man appetizers are delicious and we often just have one of these for a light meal. Our favorites are the Daughter- Shrimp tortellini Wife - Salmon Me- Mahi Ask for Alyssa. She is on top of her game for service and makes sure you enjoy a wonderful night out. It's kind of an open atmosphere seating, but somehow the lighting makes you feel like you're having a private dinner.

Fast and pleasant service. Nice atmosphere, fast and accurate service. Charred lettuce w/Cesar was different but tasty Scallops over fried green tomatoes were amazing!

Honestly my husband and I were skeptical to try, just because some reviews weren't great. However, what we've learned from reviews is that we still need to have our own experiences. We went to the Rickhouse for Father's Day dinner. I did make a reservation just because we've never been but I don't think it was necessarily needed. Our service was a 10/10, I wish I could remember our waiters name but we sat at the first both by the bar. Great vibes, loved the atmosphere of a distillery. Onto the food, we got crab dip as an appetizer, not bad but definitely not crab forward. It was more of like a spinach dip with crab sprinkled in it. My husband got the pork chop 10/10, he loved everything about it. I wanted the Ricks Pasta Paradise but the waiter informed us they were out of lemon juice that went in the pasta so recommended I get another entree. I got the new Creamy Parmesan Chicken Pasta 8/10, the chicken was a little greasier than I like but still very good. We ordered our son the cheeseburger sliders from the kids menu, $4.99 for 2 sliders and a side, that's cheaper than McDonald's you really can't beat that and he said they were so good! Overall we loved the experience and will definitely be bac

    Brisket and ribeye

VERY few people in the restaurant at 6:00 on a Saturday evening = red flag. Maybe the locals know something that others don't. Ordered the brisket and a ribeye. Food took a very long time to come out. The steak was cooked medium rare as requested but the "flame kissed" char-grilled taste overwhelmed the steak. I also had to add a significant amount of salt to eat it. The brisket was mainly fat and gristle smothered in a sweet BBQ sauce. Not very edible and we should have mentioned it sooner. The server was nice about it and very pleasant to deal with. The twice baked potato was great, but I wish it didn't come with scallions. I picked those off. The broccoli was good. The best part of the meal was the drinks! No, I wouldn't recommend this place and don't expect to be back.

Where do I start? I thought this place was nice for drinks and some dishes. However, me & my date went here twice for dinner, party of 2 and we were charged a gratuity "eating while black"! We were told that they use their discretion's To pick who they add an automatic gratuity. They base it on the way you look... example... college student, minority or a younger crowd. We are middle-aged professionals that tip accordingly. This is OUTRAGEOUS & DISCRIMINATION! I will not patron or recommend such practices, not even for my dog! Clearly you need diversity training for staff & management! We had friends that went as well, party if 4 and no gratuity was charged... hmmmm. By the way, they were not brown-skinned.

I've been here a few times and it seems like it's a hit or miss with my experience. Came here for brunch and my girlfriends eggs benedict was small and mediocre with tastiness. I got the breakfast smash burger and first of all I wouldn't call this a smash burger. It was a burger without smashing it. It also was a salt lick. I've had a burger here before and it wasn't as salty as the one I just ate. Not sure what happened today but we've decided to push pause on this establishment for a while. Till next time....

Food & service was really great. Our waitress was very knowledgeable & she made sure we were good. It was our first time coming in but we'll definitely be returning.

    Steak dinner

A break from fast food, menu has offerings for all appetites. Our party had dishes from seafood to steaks which arrived to the table fresh and well presented. Our waitress was attentive and pleasant. We had an enjoyable dinner with our ECU daughter. A good evening. Definitely on our list for our next trip to Greenville NC

Top notch service. Eli runs a great place. Best steak in town, hands down. Get the cowboy ribeye, you won't regret it.

However, I'm glad to say my instincts were completely wrong on this one. My business colleagues told me all the ingredients are locally sourced, and the based of taking diner food and making it a little more modern (without the pretentiousness). The space matches the concept - modern diner. I tried the following: - Daily Bread: Very good. Nothing like freshly bread and butter. - Spaetzle Mac & Cheese: Excellent. I've had spaetzle and and I've had mac & cheese, and this was as good as interpretation of mac & cheese I've ever had. A lot of my colleagues thought this was the most memorable dish of the night. - Pickled Things: Good. I always like trying new things, and pickled blueberries and fried saltines were new to me. Really nice surprises. - Daily NC Catch (Trout): Very good. Trout was just as perfect as can be with a nice crispy sear on the skin, and meat was still tender. The risotto underneath was good, but a bit over-seasoned. Service was incredible. The server was interactive, fun, attentive and doing a masterful job of single-handedly managing a table of over 12 people, which is never easy. Overall, a great meal. Really great food with service that made us feel like restaurant regulars. If I happen to visit Greenville NC again, I would definitely make sure to return.

We got the pulled pork and chopped brisket, cornbread, mac n cheese, baked beans and a bottle of sauce (included). We felt the value for amount of food was great, and I loved that they included smaller containers of most, if not all, of their sauces so we could try them! The corn bread was great, a couple pieces were pretty dark but still warm and fresh. The baked beans, for me, was a highlight! They were so good, whatever sauce they're cooked in was SO good, I ended up dipping my pulled pork/ brisket into that instead of the sauces!! So good!!! Our kids liked the Mac n cheese, we thought it was pretty good too! Loved that the pulled pork came with no sauce, made it super easy to portion it out for my husband and keep it fresh. Thee brisket came sauced, but the flavor was really good so we were fine with that! Overall, we'd definitely do this once in a while. It was about $90 total for the family meal, which is a little steep for a regular family meal. But flavor was great, everything was fresh, and we very much enjoyed it and will have leftovers for days!!
