That's how we found Dr. Davis. She's gifted as an ENT and very approachable and down to earth as a person. Our daughter has the sort of ears that accumulate large amounts of ear wax. She compounded the issue by going swimming last week and locking in pool water behind the wax gates she's developed in her ears. I tried wax softening solutions---forcing her to hold them in her ears for thirty minutes then carefully swabbing them out with que-tips. Nothing budged. She wound up afraid of me and my que-tips. Dr. Davis was able to quickly put her at at ease and then deftly suctioned both ears clean. She even checked my ears (no charge). A good woman and an even better physician.

I asked her why they couldn't have told me this prior when we were in contact multiple times and i was specific about it and she was not apologetic at all. Maybe next time double check with the doctor before making me get a referral, change my work schedule, drive all the way to the office and waste my time! So I gave pacific medical group a few days, maybe they needed some extra time for that referral to show up in there system. I called back 3-4 days later and the same girl answered, cut me off while talking and told me they don't take my insurance. I have never had an issue with a referral or setting up an appointment. Now it sounds like to me, that this receptionist is unqualified to do the job. I'm a self-pay patient and have been since the beginning of my time with Doctor Olafson. I've stated it in every visit I've had with her. Recently, she keeps telling me that my prescription isn't "covered" and neglected to do her research when ordering blood tests, making sure I could afford them. Although I made a following appointment with her last year for this current year, her office asked me whether or not I had made an annual appointment for a follow up and I had to tell them, that yes, I did. So, somewhere, someone isn't doing their job and I am falling through the cracks. I no longer feel heard or that I matter to Doctor Olafson and her staff. I will be looking elsewhere for care.
