She did nothing for me. Went to see her when I had the worst sinus headache of my life, during follow up visit and she said she didn't see anything wrong when she stuck the scope down my nose. It apparently doesn't see the sinus above my eyes where most of the pain was. I would never return to her again. Couldn't seem to diagnose the obvious. read more

First time was mid-pandemic, when despite the ongoing panic, I received an expert hearing evaluation and considerable assistance with an administrative issue. She was amazing I was a little afraid but she explain to me everything & made me feel super comfortable.

I saw Dr. Chang for an ear infection and was impressed by her expertise, attention to detail and concern for me as a patient. The campus is beautiful and Dr. Chang's office is located in the HM Poole building. I parked in garage A. You do have to pay for parking at the campus. The first 20 minutes is free. I paid $4 for the duration of my visit which was a little under an hour. My wait was less than 5 minutes and all the paperwork is filled out on an iPad which makes it so much easier! Dr. Chang was thorough and accommodating. She listened to my needs, history and concerns (I've had several surgeries to reconstruct my ear drum) and made cautious decisions to alleviate my ear infection without putting my ear drum at risk. In July of 2022 she will no longer be in network for Tricare which she let me know at my appointment to avoid surprises and to allow me to schedule all the care I need before my coverage ends. I wish she was staying in network because she is an exceptional ENT. read more

A number of years ago Dr. Chang removed a lot of wax and water that was in my ears due to swimming. I just recently had a routine checkup at her new office. The office visit was great. She examined my ears and removed a small amount of wax from each. She is excellent--thorough, meticulous, and gentle in her work. The environment is quiet and comfortable and her office staff are efficient and helpful. I'm now all set for a while. I definitely recommend her very highly! read more

Couldn't figure out my sinus problem. got feeling of lackadaisical attitude in reference to my case. would want to do tests that i would remind her, i already had it done..."that's why i'm here today...to get the test results" Then i would get the "deer in the headlights" look....and a quiet "oh" Saw test procedure bill amounts that my insurance paid, close to the tune of $100K...and my share i paid....with no answers.... i guess she can cure the simple stuff...after all, she's still in business. Going back to getting referral to another ENT through my insurance. Need someone who doesn't lose perspective on the case, looks at your chart before an appointment, maybe does a little homework on the case. read more

An overall wonderful experience. A streamlined check-in as a brand new patient was much appreciated -- easy, breezy, no glitches. Dr. Chang's office staff is a pleasure to deal with -- from Becca, whom you first meet when you walk in and speak to on the phone. Becca is a doll -- kind, good sense of humor and personable. Alan is right next to Becca and very sweet and courteous. Julian is the audiologist, and besides having a cool name -- he's super patient and relaxing, as I was afraid what my results would be because my kids are always screaming at me that I can't hear a thing. She was looking at my nostrils and I had so much inflammation that it was sensitive and made me tear up, she yelled at me to stop crying cause it was fogging up her view, as if I was doing it on purpose? I recently experienced a sudden hearing loss. Having experienced this phenomenon about 10 years ago, and with permanent damage due to my casual response, I took immediate action. I was referred to Dr Chang who got me on steroids immediately. I have also begun a regimen of direct injections into my eardrum. Her aggressive and timely treatment has reversed and likely increased my odds of significant recovery. Her professionalism and approachable style is a bonus.
