But if you're not giving her exactly what she needs, she won't bother to respond to your email or follow up. It was unpleasant to chat with her over the phone. The manner and attitude she delivers to the candidate was not genuine nor sincere. The application and hiring process can be personal. And people get busy and missed communication without bad intention. But when it became a communication pattern, you could tell the work attitude. It's reasonable to expect professional and respectful communication either from a client, recruiter or candidate perspective. Other recruiters from the creative agencies that I have worked with treat their applicant with respect and integrity. Fast forward 1year, I was looking for a job again. I called them up and I was working in 3 days. My first assignment with them was for a 3 month contract so as long as I did great I could possibly get hired on permanently. I didn't get that one but I have gotten other positions. MANY!! The least amount of time I did was part time for this doctors office in beverly hills .. 3 days a week but weekly pay. I was a mom, struggling. This really got me through the rough times. Fast forward 10 years after that I was pregnant with my now 15 year old son. They sent me to Allergy Medical Clinic. I was 6 months pregnant. They hired me on permanently. I worked there for years before unfortunately I was laid off. After 4 years tho. Great office, great staff. I made friends not just co workers here. Benefits were top tier. So giving a agency a chance to help you get your foot in the door, you can't beat that. The staff is great. Cristina is Amazing. You gotta do your part and they will do theirs. You will get to work. To clarify: * I was on a break with no patients on the unit and explicitly informed the other nurse I would be in the lobby taking a brief nap. I provided my contact number in case of any changes or concerns. * There was no indication or communication from the staff that my conduct was inappropriate at the time. * The nurse involved had been vocal about dissatisfaction with her work environment, and I believe this situation may have been a result of retaliation or miscommunication, which unfortunately resulted in damage to my professional standing.
