I'm not gonna lie, I haven't been to a Chuck E. Cheese in well over a decade and it was in the Midwest burbs with my niece. That also may have been the only time I've ever been to one. I ended up finally getting the opportunity to come back. Friends with kids yay! It's more neat than you'd expect. There are games for kids and adults. I mean they have combat and terminator games . . . but then my all time favorite - ski ball. Someone left and abandoned a coin in the machine and I got a little basketball action in. Everything seemed up and functioning and clean. Saw employers even cleaning and fixing some games while there. This location is different than some others in that they serve adult beverages (beer, whiteclaw, etc). I did not imbibe. But if you do they have a 2 drink limit and each drink has to be spread out 1 per hour. Which is totally understandable for a kid play zone. My friend actually had enough points from being a regular to get a pizza. Oh boy oh boy. It surprisingly was not bad. We got a large cheese pizza with sausage and hey, it's better than some chain pizzerias out there. Chuck E made an appearance after about 45 minutes to an hour of game play. Poor Chuck E. He is a champ and has some pretty slick dance moves. Embarrassingly I would totally come back.

Update-2022 This place has absolutely left a sour taste in my mouth and I'll never forget the most horrible experience I had at this location. First, I would like to make MAJOR note that every single person at my sons party caught food poisoning and it was because this facility is filthy and I honestly think the food was tampered with purposely. My friend changed her baby on a table seat because their bathroom was so filthy with poop everywhere and the changing table was broken. My party was on 4/10/22, from 4-6pm. I've had plenty of amazing parties here as you see on my previous reviews but this party was so bad I feel like legal action should take place. We were to have a dedicated hostess for 2 hours, only she was hardly ever around at all. The pitcher of drinks were left on the table by her instead of poured into the kids cups. I confronted the hostess about it and all she did was apologize but again, did nothing to fix this. There was only 2 birthdays happening at the time and the place was not crowded. I noticed it was dead, like a library, no action, hardly any Chuck E appearance. I asked what was this quietness all about and they told me the first hour children play and then the second hour they celebrate. That's never how it was done before. I got in touch with an alleged manager. I kept asking for a manager and they had multiple people come out and speak to me but I assume none were ever the manager to begin with. My sons 2 hour unlimited band kept freezing and not working taking up most of his time to play. We complained so many times and all they kept saying is "This happens sometimes" keep trying. Like are you serious? I paid for this!!! 5pm hits, "The 2nd hour" there was still no food. I had over $300 in food sales. Not 1 thing was out. Everyone was hungry, frustrated and again I complained asking for a manager. They apologized yet again and still didn't bring out the food until 5:15 and 5:30pm leaving us 30 minutes left to end the party. At this point the birthday boy didn't even do the ticket blaster yet. 10 minutes into the food my sister felt sick. I didn't think anything of it, she was so sick she actually left. We sing happy birthday and they're trying to make it right by taking 1 pizza off my bill, giving the birthday boy 5000 ticket receipt and 1 cheap prize of his choice. All on a $705 bill. How is this fair or even possible or even called making it right? Annoyed and frustrated my husband began to cry because this was absolutely devastating to see our autistic son who absolutely loves this place, have such a bad birthday experience on a very high expense. By now a new "Manager" comes out and ask me how he can make it right, I told him start with interaction with Chuck E maybe and some actual fun. He gives my son a play card for 90 minutes and tells Chuck E to acknowledge my son, only he didn't. He just acknowledges all the kids in general so there's no special treatment there. I was lost, numb and sad. This manager approached me again and asked if there was anything he can do before he leaves and I was so over it I told him "No" because nothing I asked for was happening. We leave and my son tells me his tummy hurts, I brush it off again because I didn't think anything of it. I thought maybe he was full from pizza only it turned out to be food poisoning. The next day every single person who attend my party asked if we had any illness and sure enough we all did. My family ended up needing IV fluids and Zofran from the hospital, other friends and family just cried in pain at home. I honestly think something was done to our food on purpose because of all the complaining. I don't like to accuse people but everyone was fine until several hours to a day later. NEVER AGAIN! This was enough for us to never come back. Please be aware of this place as it may be unsanitary. I reported it already to the health department.

It's exactly what it claims to be. It's a Chuck E. Cheese. As someone with a 4-year-old ,It's good to be able to go to a place where your child can run around and have fun and eat some good pizza in NYC. Especially in the winter when It's cold out and you can't bring you kid to the park, it's helpful.

$3 for a bottle of water is just high way robbery. Not only you spent $30 for hour of game play but $3 for a water is just insane.
Bruno G.

Three dollars for a bottle of water. That's just highway robbery when you're spending $30 an hour to play games it's not right.

I ordered from doordash and i was so disappointed in the presentation, really undercooked and no sauce on the pizza itself , thankgod i got extra on the side but it did not help , the pizza was 30.00 dollars but it's not worth anything! I'm not one to complain I've worked at a pizzeria and food service for the past 8 years and i definitely know it's not easy working for the food industry but this is absolutely disgusting i don't think even your kids would eat it , do not waste your time

Machine doesn't work. Staff ammena help me..

Place is different from sky view mall chuck e cheese. Games are not the same. Ice cream the price is not The same.. Best games is t.2.

Petrina R.

They've finally cleaned the place up and added way friendlier workers. The plus is they finally stopped giving out coins but a card you can load and add value too. They updated a lot of the games and added more group/family games. Chucky Cheese still comes out dancing to get the kids together for the Chucky Cheese dance, but my son showed absolutely no interest in following a mouse around - LOL. We'll be visiting again, but not on a Saturday afternoon. It's way too crowded.

I came here yesterday night with my daughter and some Yelp Elites. I found it kind of pricy in my…read moreopinion for the family group pricing at one hour. It was $46 pre tax for one adult and one child. It was alright for me though since it was my first time experiencing Gaming City. To my surprise the price was pretty worth it for all the arcade and games they have. There were games like table hockey, shooting hoops, hockey, VR simulation and interaction, racing games with a simulated motorcycle and race car. I did not expect it to have so many different types of games with DDR and a dancing grid. It just sucked that you cannot finish everything in one hour. We were given a watch to time the whole stay that we paid for. They shined red when the time was up. After the arcade play, we were given each 3 tokens for the claw machines. There were big machines that required 2 tokens and the small one only needed 1 token. The claw machines were so difficult to play. The claws were really sensitive and moved a lot. My friends and I did not even win anything. Sucks. The whole gaming city was really clean and dark. It smelled really clean and the noise level was appropriate. There were bathrooms in the middle of the whole place that were really clean. This place is a must go place for anyone who loves arcade and VR. They have it here in one location, which is right off the train station.

(See my photos for exact price lists/options). We purchases a pkg for 3 ppl for 1 Hr, so it came out to $23.33 per person. (Individual price would have been $32pp). You're given a bracelet to wear. Once your time slot is up, your bracelet will turn red, letting you know your time has expired. This arcade is different from other arcades since it's unlimited play for the specific time period you purchase. The only exception are the multiple Claw Machines at the front of the store: these machines require tokens. Note that at the end of your time slot, each person will receive 3 free tokens to use on these Claw Machines; but there are very slim chances of actually winning something. Also, the Claw Machines require 2 tokens! My niece had 9 tokens and won Nothing!! All-in-all, they had some fun games. There are even 2 VR games. But be warned: if you get motion sickness easily, do NOT do the VR games! lol I was really disappointed that they didn't have Skee-Ball games, which is my fave arcade game. But we had fun exploring all their other games. Customer service (except for the below issue) was terrific. All personnel were very friendly and helpful. They really looked out for everyone on the game floor, ready to help if you didn't understand the games/instructions. There are lockers, restrooms and beverage vending machines. Everything was super clean. Note that the VR machines are sanitized in between players, which I really appreciated. So why 4 Stars and not 5 Stars? Because we had to sign waivers ahead of time, and we were told to show up 15 min BEFORE our time slot, to make sure we check-in Before our time slot starts. Sounds fair, right? Well, we showed up 15 min early, as instructed, only to find out that they are closed! Our time slot was 2pm, and they actually opened at 2pm....so why tell us to show up at 1:45pm on a hot humid day, and make us stand out in the sun for 15 sweaty minutes?!?! Grrrrr....so incredibly annoying!! So just a heads up: if you're going to their first time-slot of the day, do NOT show up 15 min early!!

We were able to start bowling and ordering drinks right away, and the service was fast and extremely friendly. The bowling itself was a lot of fun, and we were offered arcade cards -- plus it's half-off arcade games on Wednesdays, which I'm obsessed with. The food was good overall. We ordered fries, mozzarella sticks, artichoke dip with chips, pizza, and dessert. Everything hit the spot. The only downside was that my cookie was a bit underbaked and softer than I prefer. Other than that, everything was great. I'd definitely come back again!

I noticed a spin the wheel outside this establishment. The staff said spin wheel and win a prize. Saw mom with two kids spinning the wheel. Everyone got a prize. Hello, I'll spin the wheel too. Inquired what are the prizes one can win. From a stuffed animal, bag, lollipop, token, etc... Funny thing is I walked by this place and had no idea that Plucky Station has been open for 7 months. Who is Plucky? What station? Walked in to get prize after spinning the wheel outside- It's all claw machines where you put in tokens and claw stuffed animals and other toys. Where to get tokens? As you walk down the ramp and on right hand side is a token machine exchange your dollars to tokens. What did we win as we each spin the wheel. A stuffed dog key chain and a bag- where you can put all the toys you won from playing at the claw machines. The stuffed animals were all adorable and cute. They lined up all the stuff animals as you walk back up the ramp to head out of the store. I think that's where I saw Plucky- Very cute. Good marketing on part of Plucky Station to draw more customers into the store as well as to learn more about Plucky Station and their services.

Great visit to the Museum of Moving Image…read more Finally made it over to Queens to visit the Museum on a Thursday during their Free Thursdays (2pm - 6pm). General admission prices are $20 for adults, $12 for seniors and students and $10 for children. Tickets are NOT required for their Free Thursdays, but are required for all other days. The museum is conveniently located just a few blocks away from the Steinway M/R subway stations. There is also street parking in the surroudning area. The first floor has a large tabled cafeteria area which sells lots of cafe-style items. There is also a courtyard there. So many interesting movie and TV-based exhibits throughout the museum's second floor. Great explanations of and insight to the film-making process. The make-up/prosthetic area was particularly interesting which currently features "The Exorcist". There is also a great current exhibit on the Sopranos, diving into the making of the hit television series, taking you through some of its iconic locations. The Jim Henson exhibit was also great and takes you through his decorated career and his contributions to various shows like Sesame Street and the Muppets and movies like The Dark Crystal and Labyrinth. The third floor contains the technical "making of..." exhibits. It takes you through the cameras, lighting and sound capturing throughout the years. There are some great interactive exhibits on this floor. I was only there for about an hour and a half and found myself running out of time on the third floor.
