My kids had a double party at this location today and it was fun for them! I opted for the mega birthday and that includes a host. It was her first day and she was great but a few miscommunications with management which they eventually made right was a minor hiccup. The ticket blaster and the chuck e cheese performance was a lot of fun. This location got really packed towards the end of our party I suggest booking an earlier party to avoid this . The location is a bit short staffed and there's a lot going on but for the price point it's a solid place to have a small bday party. And the pizza is better than dominos!! read more

I decided to book the fun package because the mega fun package didn't have an opening for my preferred date and time. Considering I ordered enough food and upgrades that exceeded the mega fun package, I didn't expect to be met with less than subpar service. I spoke to the lady at the front and she reassured the following: all drinks, utensils, plates will be at the table (drinks were not there until we asked for it twice), food will be out at 1pm, they will notify me when the cake will come out, and candles will be lit for us. Maybe this was where I went wrong by talking to someone who was only charging me for the party but not actually working the party. I was looking forward to this party since I've always had a good experience as a guest, but when I got to my table, the stand for my son's party was broken and they wouldn't replace it. The food for my party was half hour late and I was expected to bring it over myself. The pizza pans are HOT! But they said here's some tissues and a 6 inch plate for you to work with... so that's what I did, and I got burned. I ordered extra food - boneless chicken and fries, and if you ever wonder what $15 of fries gets you at CEC, it's a few handfuls of charred fries, burnt at the ends, on a pizza pan with 4 cups of sauce in the middle hoping we'd be deluded enough to believe that sad presentation was worth the money we paid. I wish that was the last of my complaints but, honestly, I would've overlooked all this if they hadn't screwed up the whole birthday part. The other parties had their cakes brought to them (yay for mega fun package! Again, my fault for last minute planning, so I get it). I asked for my cake, got my cake decorated it and was waiting for the person in charge of party planning to hand me the lighter. I was told it would be lit for me earlier, but it wasn't. My husband finally managed to get one of them to lend him a lighter and proceeded to try to light them. Well, not only did they see that we were obviously no where near ready for the birthday song, they did the count down for the birthday song anyways. We didn't have even one candle lit, so I yanked out all but his #7 candle and managed to light it WHILE THEY WERE SINGING THE BIRTHDAY SONG! That's not even the end of it. So birthday cake is there, song ended disappointingly and I thought everyone would finally be able to enjoy the cake, but no, the cake knife they provided broke! So we had to wait an extra 15 mins for someone (scowl and snappy attitude included) to get a knife from the kitchen to help cut our cake (they don't let customers use it - fair). That's when we realized we had no plates and no extra utensils! Front desk directed us to the kitchen counter, so 10 more minutes pass as we wait for someone to notice us until I got fed up and went back to the front desk. Utensils finally acquired, cake finally cut, and the kids finally go back to playing. Thank God for their patience because i can't think of a worse torture at that age to have to stare at ice cream cake for 20 mins and not be able to eat it. Oh and the kicker, after all that waiting, kids only had like 2 minutes left on their card. I can't even tell you how much time was wasted over all the little things that should've been done, but wasn't. I wasn't able to get the mega fun package, but apparently basic utensils, plates, and drinks promised in the fun package is not always guaranteed. Common sense is sorely lacking here as well. They won't give customers better knives to cut cake, but letting them handle hot food is ok. My fingers are still sore from carrying all those hot trays today. So I want to say it was all due to my poor planning skills but I can't even excuse the way we were treated today. Is it because we only bought the fun package? Even though I paid the equivalent of the mega fun package (minus the host)? Sadly, I didn't get to take pics of anything since I was so busy running my own food and providing tableware for my guests - probably would've been faster if I just ran to five below downstairs. I've noticed a ton of really negative reviews on her from like 9+ years ago. I hope for everyone's sakes that these negative Nancies stay out because this place has had a SERIOUS glow up in the past 1.5 years or do and my 4 year old, hubby and I are HERE FOR ITTTT. Their food is on the pricier side, but tbh - it's to be expected. The pizza here is actually solid arcade/bowling alley type pizza. First time I tried it I remember telling my husband that this pizza had NO RIGHT being this damn enjoyable...it was also probably really enjoyable because I had a great view of my daughter safely having the time of her little life. Lots of fun little rides here for the toddler/pre-schooler crowd plus all sorts of arcade games for older kids and even adults (Space Invaders anyone?! Ask stay off the Jurassic Park truck pushing game - it's mine lollll). Their app also makes it super easy to rack up points to earn rewards, discounts, free stuff, etc. I love me a good loyalty program especially when it's related to my little one. I heard that at some point they'll be carrying beer/wine and I can't wait. Not to get wasted but a glass or 2 wouldn't hurt since I don't drive here and I would totally come here for a child-free date. I even suggested over the summer that they do adult only nights on Fridays or Saturdays after like 9pm and being in DJ Chuck E. and DJ Bella Bunny on the ones and twos. Could be really fun! In my experience the bathrooms have always been clean, stocked with toilet paper, napkins and clean floors/sinks. Chuck E. I'm not gonna lie, I haven't been to a Chuck E. Cheese in well over a decade and it was in the Midwest burbs with my niece. That also may have been the only time I've ever been to one. I ended up finally getting the opportunity to come back. Friends with kids yay! It's more neat than you'd expect. There are games for kids and adults. I mean they have combat and terminator games . . . but then my all time favorite - ski ball. Someone left and abandoned a coin in the machine and I got a little basketball action in. Everything seemed up and functioning and clean. Saw employers even cleaning and fixing some games while there. This location is different than some others in that they serve adult beverages (beer, whiteclaw, etc). I did not imbibe. But if you do they have a 2 drink limit and each drink has to be spread out 1 per hour. Which is totally understandable for a kid play zone. My friend actually had enough points from being a regular to get a pizza. Oh boy oh boy. It surprisingly was not bad. We got a large cheese pizza with sausage and hey, it's better than some chain pizzerias out there. Chuck E made an appearance after about 45 minutes to an hour of game play. Poor Chuck E. This location is rough. Elevator didn't work. Escalator going down didn't work. Hard to use escalator with strollers. Many guests have kids with strollers. All this and I didn't even enter the store. This was truly one of the worst experiences ever because of a very specific reason. My wife and child went in before me. When I walked through the front door of the store an employee was walking out of the back through a side door. This is before I even entered through the kid safety check in. She was young and asked me if I had a kid inside. Weird ask but I responded with a yes. Simple question to which I gave a simple response. She asks me again and adds on an, "Are you sure". At this point I got really annoyed. I responded, that I was 100% sure I had a kid in there. And then I asked in an annoyed tone if she was going to ask me again a third time to which she responded, "if I feel like it". This all happens over 10 seconds. Really short interaction but enough to leave a terrible taste in my mouth. I walk in and find my wife and kid. I explain what happened to her and ask to speak to a manger. I explained what happened to her and she felt bad and was sorry that happened. She wanted me to point out the employee and I didn't want to. I don't like throwing people under the bus. I am writing this the following day and I think in this occasion I should have. The first employee clearly insinuated that maybe I didn't belong and had ill intentions. I struggle to see any other reason for her repeated questioning and tone. I asked the manger if you need to be with a child to enter and she explained that you didn't. I celebrated my birthday here and it was an absolute horrible experience with their party manager Yasmin. I booked a 2 hour party, and we had minors. Yasmin said that every minor must have their own guardian which was the first time I ever heard that. ESPECIALLY when there was one parent with 2 kids there. She was giving us so many problems and REFUSED to give her corporates number although the corporate is the one that spoke to me. Yasmin wasted almost an hour of my play time and we only spend half the time playing because of this. Update-2022 This place has absolutely left a sour taste in my mouth and I'll never forget the most horrible experience I had at this location. First, I would like to make MAJOR note that every single person at my sons party caught food poisoning and it was because this facility is filthy and I honestly think the food was tampered with purposely. My friend changed her baby on a table seat because their bathroom was so filthy with poop everywhere and the changing table was broken. My party was on 4/10/22, from 4-6pm. I've had plenty of amazing parties here as you see on my previous reviews but this party was so bad I feel like legal action should take place. We were to have a dedicated hostess for 2 hours, only she was hardly ever around at all. The pitcher of drinks were left on the table by her instead of poured into the kids cups. I confronted the hostess about it and all she did was apologize but again, did nothing to fix this. There was only 2 birthdays happening at the time and the place was not crowded. I noticed it was dead, like a library, no action, hardly any Chuck E appearance. I asked what was this quietness all about and they told me the first hour children play and then the second hour they celebrate. That's never how it was done before. I got in touch with an alleged manager. I kept asking for a manager and they had multiple people come out and speak to me but I assume none were ever the manager to begin with. My sons 2 hour unlimited band kept freezing and not working taking up most of his time to play. We complained so many times and all they kept saying is "This happens sometimes" keep trying. Like are you serious? I paid for this!!! 5pm hits, "The 2nd hour" there was still no food. I had over $300 in food sales. Not 1 thing was out. Everyone was hungry, frustrated and again I complained asking for a manager. They apologized yet again and still didn't bring out the food until 5:15 and 5:30pm leaving us 30 minutes left to end the party. At this point the birthday boy didn't even do the ticket blaster yet. 10 minutes into the food my sister felt sick. I didn't think anything of it, she was so sick she actually left. We sing happy birthday and they're trying to make it right by taking 1 pizza off my bill, giving the birthday boy 5000 ticket receipt and 1 cheap prize of his choice. All on a $705 bill. How is this fair or even possible or even called making it right? Annoyed and frustrated my husband began to cry because this was absolutely devastating to see our autistic son who absolutely loves this place, have such a bad birthday experience on a very high expense. He gives my son a play card for 90 minutes and tells Chuck E to acknowledge my son, only he didn't. He just acknowledges all the kids in general so there's no special treatment there. I was lost, numb and sad. This manager approached me again and asked if there was anything he can do before he leaves and I was so over it I told him "No" because nothing I asked for was happening. We leave and my son tells me his tummy hurts, I brush it off again because I didn't think anything of it. I thought maybe he was full from pizza only it turned out to be food poisoning. The next day every single person who attend my party asked if we had any illness and sure enough we all did. My family ended up needing IV fluids and Zofran from the hospital, other friends and family just cried in pain at home. I honestly think something was done to our food on purpose because of all the complaining. I don't like to accuse people but everyone was fine until several hours to a day later. NEVER AGAIN! Cheese locations, you will find a few non-working machines. This site had no signs to deter guests from repeatedly swiping/tapping their game cards. While I warned a few others to avoid any of the nonworking games that I encountered, I watched as frustrated kids and adults try to navigate through the maze and patiently wait their turn for the functional games. They've finally cleaned the place up and added way friendlier workers. The plus is they finally stopped giving out coins but a card you can load and add value too. They updated a lot of the games and added more group/family games. Chucky Cheese still comes out dancing to get the kids together for the Chucky Cheese dance, but my son showed absolutely no interest in following a mouse around - LOL. We decided to book our toddlers birthday here since my kiddos are obsessed with this place. I booked only a few days before and luckily they had openings. We got the simplest package which was $18.99 per child which includes pizza with one topping, drinks for the kids and about 40 credits to play and a bonus card with 120 credits for booking online and having a party by 10am. Oh, can't forget you get 30 seconds in the ticket blaster machine which is pretty cool. You also have the option to upgrade your package the day of if you wish. Our hostess was Alexa and she was great. Looking at the overall staff here, everyone is fairly young. They were running the place and let me tell you they were doing a great job. Our party including the adults had a great time. I think my mom had the most fun and I might consider doing her birthday here ha ha. That would be hilarious. Ok so this place in my book is worth a solid 2/5 stars. First off they don't have the mouse come out to greet the kids like the other locations. My kid has come 4 times and has yet to see the mouse live even once. If you order food be prepared for a long wait time they will bring it to your table one day. One day ! This review is mostly for customer service and management. This is our second visit to this Chuck E Cheese, first time was wonderful, second time? Not so much. The food actually came out pretty good, the pizza and wings were actually hot and tasty. With it being so crowded and running after our toddler to make sure he doesn't get trampled or injured by older children who seemed as though they have never been to Chuck E Cheese, we misplaced or dropped our points card which had over 100 points left on it. We asked for assistance from the cashier to directed us to another staff member who then got us to their manager. We provided them with our PlayPass code and they were able to pull it up. The manager stated that the card was bought March 25th, which was irrelevant because we kept mentioning to her that we must have dropped it and it contained over 100 points and if they could do something about the card, anything. The manager and the previous staff member said that there was 0 points on it and both almost mockingly giggled that someone must've used it because there is zero points on it. In addition to her annoyingly mocking giggle, we were told that there was nothing they could do because it's not their responsibility, which is completely understood. But to just laugh due to us not having any points anymore because it was used by another customer then being told simply that there was nothing they could do is rude and unprofessional. Horrible customer service, disgusting bathrooms, terrible experience. The much younger section with smaller machines should be exclusive just to younger children, not bigger children who clearly are too old. This section should be ensured that only a certain age be allowed due to safety. Older children do not care whether they bump or run into a smaller child. It's like a zoo. Place has got some serious problems. Some of the games were out of order, while others worked but malfunctioned. Food was terrible. A large pizza is rather small and is slightly better than a 7-11 pizza. Spent 4 dollars for fries and received a small basket with greasy fries. 3 dollars for a small cup for soda is outrageous. Horrible place. I honestly hope they close. I cAlled up today to ask some questions before I came and was hung up twice by the person answering the phone. Since I had promised my kids that we would go I still went, against what my gut feeling was saying to not go. We get to Chuck E. Cheese. So my kid scanned the card and some other little boys pushed him out of the way and took over the machine he was at. I looked for an employee and no one was around. I told the boys to move and they went to go start a argument with me saying that they had it. In order to not make this a bigger thing I let it go. In the end The kids wanted some pizza and cotton candy so we ordered some at the front since no employee was on the floor. Went here on Rosh Hashanah thought it would be a nice way to spend a day out of school with my goddaughter. We immediately ordered a pie and two cups for drinks. The pizza took s while to come and it wasn't all that busy we were actually one of four guest waiting for meals. The pizza was delicious, but I'd definitely suggest they work on the time it takes for them to prepare it. The games were highly disappointing a lot of them were out of service and I don't think the ticket distribution when playing is fare. You'd be rewarded 1-2 tickets for every game or so. I also don't like how there are so many adults hovering over games not giving the kids time to play. I'm sure this establishment was intended for children. We just had our kid's bd party here and was very impressed with the party management at this Chuck E Cheese's. I booked online about 3 weeks out and received a call from the party manager a few days afterwards to confirm my options. Then received a call a few days before the event to confirm headcount -- a good thing since my headcount had changed. On the day of, we arrived 15 minutes early, met our hostess (who was wonderful), went over the agenda of the 2-hr party, confirmed food order etc. Everything went very smoothly, and everyone had a wonderful time. This was the most stressless party I've ever planned. I did bring my own cake, balloons, and favors for a personal touch, but these things can also be ordered depending on party package. I do recommend having birthday parties earlier in the day before the place gets crowded. Our party was on a Sunday at 11am which was perfect. I am a pretty picky customer and do recommend this venue for parties for young children. Credit cards accepted, but gratuities need to be made in cash. I have literally held out on coming here because I remember it always being so crazy! I finally caved in and brought my son, he and I were both in awe. I forgot that they do the stamps to match parent to child and love that--also love the fact that they no longer have the play area(ball pit and tunnels). They tried to turn me into a fiend. I went for a kids party, and caught my self thinking about stealing tokens from children...from children! The shame! It's clean, relatively calm (we went on a Sunday morning), and the games are so much fun. Whoever said to stick to the Wheel of Fortune was right. I don't even get how to play the game, but I won 100 tickets. My boyfriend so snarkily pointed out that 100 tickets is probably worth $3 in prizes, but whatever. Be warned...stay away from charging your credit card to buy tokens. Chuck E Cheese is turning into the children's Atlantic City. Chuck E Cheese....where a kid can be terrified of a 6 foot tall man in a mouse outfit. Just kidding! Well...my three year old hates chuck E cheese himself, but loves his place of business. I have been coming here for about a year now..maybe once or twice every two months? My daughters school doesn't always follow the normal NYC DOE schedule, so I do try to come when the majority of kids are still in school and that has worked well for us. Friday afternoons at 11 when my girl has a half day? the place is quiet, clean, calm. I can actually sit and let her walk around a bit while keeping her in sight. Other times would probably be weekday afternoon/ evenings The pizza? I hate anything but the thin crust. The prices are way high for what they are serving, but I guess I have come to accept that as the price to wear down my tot so she goes home and takes a long nap. I would however never step foot in a chuck E cheese on a Friday night, Saturday or Sunday at all. I made the mistake once and it was an absolute madhouse. I'm writing on behalf of all the children out there who don't know how to use the internet, a computer, or let alone know how to form words. This place is..I hate to say it because I'm not a mean reviewer..horrible. When I went there were at least 5+ machines that weren't working. It doesn't matter if each machine is only a quarter if the machines aren't functioning! The place was dirty (not to mention rundown) and it wasn't even crowded so I don't know what the excuse would be. I didn't bother with the food after seeing everything else. We had many extra tokens left because we got so fed up with everything broken that we started giving them out to random people entering. At least we saved others money. Two stars instead of one because of previous memories here when I was a kid and how I loved this place more than anywhere else in the world. I wish it was the same for children now. read more

I was ready for a negative experience when I moved my son's outdoor birthday party indoors due to to threatened rain (which never came) but I was more than pleasantly surprised by the result. As soon as I arrived, I was introduced to our party host. She handled everything, was attentive and worked with me (a neurotic first-time mother) in stride. The basic package is well-priced and all inclusive. Our crowd of 11 2-7 year olds had plenty of tokens to play with (20 included per kid and 100 extra because it was Sunday) and everyone, especially my 4-year-old son. The birthday cake, ordered in-house, was delicious and the rest of the food did the trick . My son had "face time" with Chuck E. and the party songs, etc., were adorable to watch. I think 4 is probably the perfect age for it. And, yes, it was clean. I only wish there were a few more skee ball lanes, so I didn't feels so bad about hogging one from the little ones. All in all, I was very impressed with the operation. I was worried about how crowded it would be but, for a New York City venue, it wasn't that bad. I was so moved to see how much fun my kid was having. I'd do it again in a heartbeat. And I didn't have to clean up! Bonus. Don't expect gourmet, but if want you want is an easy, well-priced, fun time for your kiddo's party, this really is as good as it gets. read more

My husband and I were celebrating our son's birthday there last night. We arrived 15 minutes before the 8pm reservation we had(as advised when making the booking). When I walked in I was seen by someone who seemed to be a manager. She was asking me how many children our party consisted of which was odd because I thought they would know that information before hand. When we walked over to the tables that were reserved for our child's birthday, nothing was prepared. By this time it was past 8:10pm. We waited for staff to fix the table for our guests who had already arrived. We waited some more. And some more. We finally received the play cards at 8:30pm. At that point I was highly upset because the location closes at 10pm. Which means we were not receiving the 2 hour play time that comes included in the package. I asked the manager what her solution to this would be and she simply told me she didn't know. Once the party started another gentlemen took over! (He did as best he could and we appreciate that). We ordered a Chuck E. Cheese cake and received a plain one, we didn't get the ice cream, or the 100 point card for the birthday boy, all of these things which come included in the package we paid for. This was not our first birthday party at Chuck E. Cheese but definitely our last! Extremely disappointed. read more

This restaurant is kid oriented and themed to the Chuck E Cheese character. This location has a playground area and good for hosting birthday parties. The quality of food is just average as pizza is not tasty. read more
