My family and I come here a lot! The food is usually pretty good. Also there are a lot of games for the kiddos to play and hold their attention. Good and bad experience: Good - decent buffet for a kids pizza place, young cashier was very helpful and friendly. Bad - the management team didn't seem to know what was going on, kept barking orders at the cashier and I felt sorry for her. Several of the games that we tried to play or not working or not issuing tickets as they were supposed to. Had to keep trying to get staff to come over. Two managers at this location, one male and one female, seemed to leave most of the work up to the cashier. Very hands-off approach, which was disheartening. read more

Took my grandson to Chuck E. Cheese this morning and we had a great time. He's only 18 months old and with almost everything being closed right now it's been a little rough. The whole place was very clean and they took temperatures upon entering. The lady who was working was so very helpful. It's always so nice when a business has friendly staff. They had a light up dance floor along with many games that he was able to play and felt very big! He had a personal pan cheese pizza. It was fine. Not great, but not horrible. I mean it's pretty hard to really mess up pizza. You can also just come in to play games. We will definitely be back! The pictures are now in color instead of black and white when I use to take my kids. Makes me feel a tad bit old!! Wednesday's are great days to go! So this rating is for the PIZZA I don't know what it is but I love their pizza here. The traditional crust and thin crust and now that Grubhub will deliver I am going to try it one of these days to see if it's as good delivered! I might go as far as saying this is my favorite pizza in Olathe. Last year they had some crazy mac and cheese pizza with cheetos on top! It was kinda good too LOL. I came here with my coworker and her two kids. The food is very pricey and not that great - I rather get a cheap frozen pizza and it would still taste better than the ones they make here. I was tempting to get the chicken wings, but glad I got to try the sauces first. They did not taste good. The arcade place is very small. They were bigger back when I was a kid or maybe it was because I'm grown that it seemed small. I think it would be more beneficial if we went to a Dave and Busters or PowerPlay which is a lot bigger for an arcade play area. The only good thing about this place is the big open seating areas that is perfect for kids' parties. Otherwise, I would not recommend for a great arcade place for kids. read more

Well let's talk about how there is only 2 Chuck E Cheeses in Johnson County. That's just silly. Then when Chuck E Cheese was supposed to come out it was announced probably 5-10 minutes before hand. And then we never saw him once. We were there for 3 hours and do not get to see him at all. Oh and I hate the straw dispensers with a passion. Get straws that have a wrapper! Those dispensers are so foul! And then people end up doing which defeats the purpose is opening the top and taking them from there. Just dumb. Last thing that made me totally irritated was we had the peel off coupons from awhile ago for free tickets that equaled over 200 and they told me that don't take them anymore. Uuummm there was not one single expiration date no where on them. So why couldn't I use them??? Now the best thing Chuck E Cheese EVER came up with was the little watch thing. That goes on the wrist and the kids just scan there wrist! No cards getting lost anymore! I was thrilled! The pizza as usual is always good for a kids place. No games broken down and from what I saw it was fairly clean. There was an employee Maria who was an angel with a little thug but that didn't bother us at all. She treated us so well and didn't get upset at all that we closed the place down. Yes we were the last to leave. So Maria at the OP location deserves a "way to go!" We have gone here 2 times and both times within 12-24 hours my kids have gotten Norovirus (stomach flu). I've never seen them cleaning and many hand sanitizer stations were out. They need to start incorporating bleach into the cleaning process of the games. I will never go to Chuck E. Cheese again due to this. read more

This is for the kids birthday party only. We came for my nieces birthday party and everything was all set up. Table cloth, cups, plates, silverware, water, lemonade, cotton candy party favors, cups for the adults.The kids enjoyed the pizza and cake and of course the game play. The girl that helped with the party served the pizza and cake to the kids and asked to make sure the adults didn't miss out. She looks to be a high schooler but had everything under control. With multiple parties going on, setting up for more parties she really kept her cool and made sure everything was ok. If we lived in the area we would definitely come back to do a party here. read more

I have so many complaints about this particular establishment. I want to start with the completely horrid pizza. It is just terrible. The kids like the games, or maybe just the tickets the games spit out. I dred ending up there at mealtime with a hungry child. Even my kids aren't fans of fhe funny taste. The second issue is the arcade games that don't work and the staff that rarely seems available to help or refund tokens. Even the ticket counter to redeem tickets for merchandise is like a ghost town. I ordered the salad bar the last visit in hopes of a change of pace from the yukky pizza. Unlimited trips seemed odd when they handed me one plate, and when I asked where the plates were for return trips, they said to use the same plate. It wasn't well tended; many items were spilling over into other compartment AND...my FINAL complaint. One of the rides for toddlers. It's a car. A man inside. A puppy inside. The point of the ride...help the man track down his puppy. REALLY? Isn't that just what lures kids into the most commonly dangerous kidnapping situations? Should such an AMUSEMENT RIDE EXIST? I realize I may be a tad overboard here, but seriously....the LAST thing I want my kids doing is climbing in some stranger's truck to help him find his lost puppy! That ride needs to go. read more

Went tonight with my husband and kids. We had to wait to be checked in, wait to order, wait for 50 minutes for our cold food to arrive, then wait 6 minutes to be checked out so we could leave. No one working there accepts responsibility for anything and if you ask a question their answer is "I don't know". Heaven forbid they find someone for you that knows the answer or try to figure it out. The guy delivering food had a nasty unkept beard with nothing covering it. The person working the salad bar had on fake nails and nail polish with no gloves. It didn't look like anyone had washed down tables all day. There was spilled pop on the floor which had turned into a sticky mess. I'd recommend Dave and Busters or Main Event instead...at least they are cleaner and the servers are clean. read more

Had a birthday party for a 9 year old. 8 children 9 adults. Bought the lowest package price wise, scheduled party on Friday evening and online so got an additional 120 tokens, good deal. We took in our own cake but I ordered the ice cream cups from chuck e cheese online. It was seamless, easy way to have a party. They decorated the table, served the pizza (kids loved the pizza), cut the cake we brought in & served the cake, refilled drinks, interacted with the kids & hot the kids to interact with chuck e cheese. Our party helper Scarlett was fantastic & the kids all said they really likes her. Would definitely book another party here. read more

Chuck E Cheese had seen better days, My brother and I thought it would be fun to take our kids here for New Years, but the only problem was..... They added bumper cars and took out the play ground! My nephews were so bummed about it. You have to stand around forever waiting for someone to run the bumper cars, and it cost 2 tokens ( after my nephews and daughter waited a good ten minuets to even ride the cars with no one else in line) My younger one is a little under two, and sadly there really wasn't much for her to do. :/ She did love it when chuck e cheese came out though. read more

I was debating whether to go to this location or the one on Metcalf, chose this one last minute and boy did I regret it. The place was practically empty so was god but after being there a short time, I got some clues as to why. There were about a dozen tables all dirty and no one using them (the people had stacked their dishes and left their cards so I knew they were gone) so we ended up sitting as far away from the games as possible since it was the only clean table we could find. We went and played games while we waited almost 45 minutes for ONE pizza. Of the games that WERE working (many weren't or were out of tickets) I didn't like how so many of the games were adult scary VIDEO games and would rather have my kids play a carnival type game then try and figure out how to shoot and move a controller (they're 4 and 5). So my kid went to the game to throw the balls at the clown and- long story short- it ended up charging him 28 times (out of 40) on his card. They no longer use tokens but now have an electronic card scanning (not sliding) system per game. So when I went to the manager about it to get my credits back she was LESS then helpful and down right RUDE when I was trying to explain it. She blamed it on my son and said he was probably waving the card around too many times in front of the scanner and it's super sensitive- ok he's 5 he's not going to know how to work it. Then she told me that usually the parents carry the cards so the kids don't mess them up- again blaming me the customer. I told her the girl at the counter that I ordered from said they usually give the cards to the kids and not the parents- so in direct contradiction to what SHE the manager just said. When it was time to leave I asked for a box for the rest of our pizza and I don't know if they went and was screen printing it fresh in the back or what but it was almost 15 minutes to get it. There were only 2 other families in the place at the time! 3 of the 4 ticket redemption stations were broken so thank goodness the place was practically empty or we would all have been fighting to use that same one all night. I visit CEC about once a year (at most) and will NEVER go back to this location unless it undergoes some major upkeep. read more

If there were a lower rating I would vote the least. Rude very rude and moronic staff, young girls were incompetent at their jobs. Ordered the buffet got a tiny tray for 2 plates. No forks anywhere, asked for forks - ignored - asked another person who was doing NOTHING, ignored - then asked the first idiot if she could please get me some forks because my grandchild was sitting quite a way from the counter unattended and yes I was a little aggravated but never did I use any type of foul language, she then stomped off in a huff to get them noticeably upset, so then I asked a male worker thinking there was another service counter, said she is on a trip to get forks. Oh brother......she comes back after 4-5 minutes picks up a fork and shoves it at me, holding it in a threatening manner! I took it and retrieved another from the tray she had angrily dumped them in. So I go back and sit down and a woman comes up and introduces herself as the 'GM" of course general manager, and tells me she does not appreciate me asking for a "fu(((ing fork" accusing me of using the word fu***ing. WHAT THE HECK???? I explained to her how rude the girl was and that I do not use that foul word...EVER.....She proceeded to harass me scolding me about using the F word and when I told her that was not true, she actually stood there and argued with me! " So ?youre calling my employees liars? What a ignorant woman! Instead of trying to diffuse the problem, she seemed like she wanted to fight. If I were violent I would have slapped her across the face. I told her I would like a refund and we would leave. She said "no you dont need to leave" so I. simply very politely asked her to leave us alone so I could enjoy my grandchild. Talk about a horrible experience! These people are only a catastrophe waiting to happen if someone comes in who isnt willing to take their rudeness. Do not take your children to this place!
