I hate this place the food is insanely expensive and one of the male workers yelled at my grandson.

I'm giving the review based on buying the two month summer pass and wanting to extend it. Going 1-2 times a week we have always had a great experience. My children, who are younger, always enjoy themselves. The staff always goes above and beyond to ensure they have a great time. The pizza and appetizers sampler are pretty good for a kid establishment. Overall, it is a fun place for them to burn off some energy for a couple hours. Highly recommend if you have younger children! read more

Pizza was good very garlicky and coconuty, very cheesy too.... very good. Service was okay at the beginning but the manager was rude.

This is just an oversized pizzeria with a room filled with games for kids to play. Most deals come as a package that includes a meal, drink, unlimited games and for an extra cost ice cream. In my opinion it is overrated and definitely targeted for the younger kid. It is somewhat well kept for cleanliness. We have visited this location before. This time they seem to be remodeling. The walls were still getting worked on. The stage was closed also. Chuck E. Cheese came out to walk around. The kids go nuts! Of course like most places they seemed very under staffed or it was the managers time off. I told a few of the employees that their restrooms were out of toilet paper and paper towels. No one ever replaced any thing. We visited during a less busy time. By the time we were leaving they started to get busy. My friend stood at the prize counter for a while before getting helped. Then that lady walked away to check in new customers. We had to go back to the prize counter. She stood there for about 10 minutes maybe longer. I noticed a young man standing off to the side in the back. Thinking maybe he was clocking in for the day. He walks right by her. Then he walks over to the main entrance to check in more customers. My friend noticed that he wasn't busy for a few minutes. She went over to tell him we still needed help at the prize counter. We were finally leaving and no one was at the door to look at the stamp they make sure you get when you arrive with children. Sad to see it so under staffed or just not the right employees in the correct locations. Nice to see them updating the inside. read more

This is as my first time as a parent taking my child to Chuck E. Cheese, and I was pleasantly surprised how clean it was. For some reason I though a place like this would be grungy, stinky and have trash hidden behind all the machines. Nope! Not at all. They staff do an amazing job keeping everything so clean. This location is on the smaller side, but it's great for an hour's worth of games and fun. We purchased the summer pass, so we'll be back weekly for the next several weeks. Good deal for summer fun having just one kid. My only suggestion is for management to consider putting in a stool so kids can reach the sink to wash their hands. read more

This rating is strictly for the awesome friendliness of current staff (thank you Isabella!), the improved cleanliness, and the hours of fun for my children! We didn't eat here today, but we played games, had some drinks, and got a bag of cotton candy! Paying for games by the time is cheaper than by the tokens. This location just got remodeled and it is looking great. They have tons of new games, pink panther, zombie water shooter, to name a few. My toddler loved the new floor projector which moves Chuck E characters upon stepping on or near it. They have a side full of ride ons for littles which my toddler definitely loves. I work for GrubHub and these employees are the nicest I've met so far! For some reason the order i was picking up didn't go through on their end (computer error not theirs) so they busted their butts to get it to me on time. The nice woman at the front (never got her name) was so nice offering me water while i wait and having a nice conversation with me. I dont have kids so the likelihood id come back as a customer is slim but shoot if you do and you're looking for a fun place with great customer service 10/10 would recommend! Chuck E. Cheese has managed to be a kid's fun paradise for years and years. The place felt fresh with its new remodel and it was very clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful when getting game cards, using coupons, and at the prize counter. As with the state of the world, the prices were very steep and the bill will be incredibly high if you have a big family/group. Overall, a satisfactory visit perfect for a day activity. read more

Amazing! We just took our grandson for his 4th birthday (on May the 4th!) and he had a blast. We were highly impressed from the moment we got there. Very friendly staff! We came on a Thursday, lunch time so no crowd. All the games run on a card you load with points and it automatically keeps track of your ticket winnings on the card as well. Very convenient! All the games worked and seemed very new. The restrooms were spotless as well as the carpet and surroundings. Salad bar was fresh and pizza was amazing. I know this place has been around for sometime, I really was impressed with how well it has been kept up. My family and I went to celebrate my nieces 4th bday . She was so excited to go . I would like to thank the host Mariana for her outstanding customer service ! She was so helpful with helping us get the best deals for our dinner . Mariana had a great attitude and was very friendly . However our order was incorrect but was immediately corrected which was awesome . The customer service was great . I would like to say that the games there don't make it easy for the kids to win tickets and there are no arcade games for older kids . Bit of a disappointment I don't know that we will be back anytime soon given the games but it is toddler friendly . Pizza was ok . All in all we had a good time and it made my niece happy . The cleanest Chuck E. Cheese location I have ever taken my family to visit! My husband and I noticed how the staff did an excellent job. They were very interested in doing a good job, from our friendly order taker who communicated very politely & clearly (Rancel), to the staff who was cleaning the game machines regularly, to the staff that was refilling the salad bar often with fresh food. Our two-year-old had a wonderful birthday, and was even able to trade in his ticket card for his prizes rather quickly. This location is a prime example of how things can go right when the staff truly cares about their job and when the environment is remodeled to be more clean & spacious. My daughter who just turned 10 really wanted a party here and so did all her friends. I haven't been to Chuck-E-Cheese in over 10 years and when I read the Yelp reviews for this location, I was highly concerned. But, it's the only one on the Central Coast, so I decided to chance it. I was pleasantly surprised. From the moment we got there, everyone was very attentive and friendly. We were shown our table right away, they helped to put our cake in the fridge, everything was set up, and the manager transitioned us to our party host, Leo. He was fantastic! There is never a time that we needed something where he wasn't around, or somebody else, to help right away. We had pizza for the kids and ordered some for the adults as well, and everybody was surprised how good it was. We didn't have the other appetizer type food, but the salad bar was very fresh, which I was concerned about because I had read that they had gotten rid of it. They haven't, it is there and has a lot of choices. I was also concerned about my 3 1/2 year old because a reviewer mentioned there was nothing for toddlers to do. It's true that they do not have a play structure or a ball pit, which I suppose is disappointing, but my little guy could have stayed much longer and was entertained the entire time just going on all the little rides and playing the games. There were quite a few other toddlers there as well that were younger, and I didn't see any issues with boredom. I cannot recommend enough requesting Leo as your host, he was so wonderful, funny, all the girls loved him so much, he had so much energy, singing & dancing during the birthday song, cutting and serving the cake, everything. The manager checked in with us a few times, and when one of the girls had a scary moment where they choked on a piece of candy, both Leo and the manager were right there, making sure multiple times that she was okay, and even listened to her breathe to make sure. To me, that is above and beyond. Overall, everyone left with smiles on their faces, and we had a great time. Oh, and the bathrooms were perfectly clean, I don't know if maybe later at night they get more used looking from all the kids, but until 3pm when we left they were perfectly fine. For what it's worth regarding all the bad reviews, the manager did let me know after I mentioned the concern about all the bad reviews, that they had sent a manager over from another location to help improve, so I think there has been a huge change. We will definitely be coming back, it was worth the drive from Morro Bay. Thanks for making my daughter's birthday so special! read more

Scheduled a birthday party at 530 pm, and we showed up slightly late. They canceled our party kept our deposit and turned away a 5 year old foster child's one wish to have her birthday party at Chuck E. Cheese... she walked away with presents in hand, in tears and heart broken because "Josh" or come to find out that's his fake name his real name is Elmer, he wouldn't help make this girls wish come true but rather turn away a 5 year old who's has already had so much crap dumped on her, just to add being turned away for her birthday. This was the worst experience ever. There's video on Facebook of them taking down the decorations in front of her, with the whole party there. They broke her heart, and she watched them take it away. So my kids wanted to go to chuck e cheese for their birthday. God knows why?! Its a parents worst nightmare, but, I digress. Anyways, we figured now is the time to go, with covid cases going down. This place was packed. Very few wearing masks, of course. All the staff were, so thats a plus. The games are beyond LAME. There are no arcade games. They are all kiddie games or games that you 'win' things that are there to basically take your money. More than 5 games were broken. No sign stating so, so you wasted your money putting money into a broken down machine. It was hot inside, lots of sweaty kids and broken games. The food looked nasty and the salad bar was out in the open where kids were standing and running around and coughing all over it. Gross. This place is also hella expensive. At the end of your journey through hell, you turn your card/points in and get gifts. Lol the gifts my kids got? Some piece of junk $1 store toy that broke before we got to the car. Update: 9/15/2021 My update is a little late. But to be fair. There is very little to update. As they requested, I used the link and followed the instructions.. I never got a response back. But it doesn't matter much anyway because they changed how you play the games and with some of them you can't play the way they were intended to be played. For example, some games require you to already have a stack of tokens ready for when you get the bonus round, and you quickly put tokens in for the bonus round. Otherwise the bonus round is useless, and you don't get bonus worthy tickets. And now. If you had tokens you hadn't turned in or used, you can't use them for the bonus round. It won't register it. You must use your card first and then wait for the machine to dispense a token. And because of the delay in that process. Bonuses are now obsolete in those games: Birthday jackpot and the alien space game and the ski game, and plinko and others I can't recall off hand (not all locations have all of those games.) Anyway.. Unless they upgrade all their games, or make changes to allow games to work properly and as they were intended, I think we had our last birthday party and last visit. Because now, unless you save your tickets for years, goodluck on getting any good prizes beyond what's in the glass case, unless you're willing to fork out even more of your hard earned cash and pay cash to make up the difference for the tickets you could have had the chance to win, but now you have no chance at all. read more

The system they have set up to ensure no kids are kidnapped is still fatally flawed. I ordered some pizza online through Grub Hub, 2 hours had passed and there was no sign of my food being delivered(I believe there wasn't a driver available.. no biggie it happens) Misty called me from the establishment and asked what I would like to do with my order so I told her I'd go pick it up, no problem. I go in to get my order not expecting anything, however, the manager, (I did not get her name but she had really pretty dark red hair) was so kind and considerate to help with the inconvenience of having to wait 2 hours for our food with no delivery driver that she refunded our order before we even got to the restaurant, and threw in some cotton candy for us. How sweet! The customer service was OUTSTANDING and the food was good too, I highly recommend it. read more

My Granddaughter had her 7th birthday party here. I was so impressed! The young lady attending to us was AMAZING! VERY ATTENTIVE! Everything from food service to making sure everything was in order for 2 hours! Special time with Chuck E Cheese! Food was great, just wish I had room in my belly for the salad bar! Totally recommend! 2 hours of playtime on the machines for all the kids. Birthday girl got lifetime refillable cup, got to go into the machine that blows tickets around and she could grab as many as she could in a specific amount of time. 3 stars for the wonderful birthday service we received from Breanna and 'Chuck E.' Pizza was good and greasy. Kids won lots of tickets and were happy. However, there was a unfriendly manager seated in the b-day party area that scolded a very nice employee for wearing his hat backwards. It was demeaning and disrespectful that he reprimanded the young man in front of customers over something so minor as a hat turned backwards. Corporate might want to put someone else in charge if they care about employee and customer satisfaction!!!! read more

Pizza was disgusting! They obviously changed their recipe. It was slimy and tasted like cream cheese. my husband said it reminded him of cheese in a can. My kids all left with tummyaches. They entire play area was littered with garbage. The bathrooms seemed to be dirty ,like it hadnt been cleaned in several days, the sinks were both clogged and were full of cloudy water.YUK! The prize counter seemed to be almost emty. everything my kids wanted ,they were out of :( A good amount of the games were out of order and several others ate our tokens. They had what seemed like 5 or 6 16 year old running things. The kicker for me was that there was an older woman sitting in a booth smoking her e cigarette and when i talked to the employees, they laughed it off and wouldnt ask her to smoke outside. Went to Chuck E Cheese last night for my grand kids birthday party. The service was terrible. Our daughter made reservations. She was shorted one game card. The staff said the extra money was on one of the other cards. The staff member who was supposed to be our party hostess lagged on getting things going. She did not seem to enjoy her job nor did she show any care or enthusiasm about/for our party. I was very disappointed in the service received. The food was terrible, but I knew that going into it. We waited over an hour and a half, saw the Chuck E Cheese countdown twice, and waited for Mr Cheese to come out and toss tickets to the kids; he never came. On our way out, my son painfully asked the front counter lady where Chuck E was at and her reply was, "he's sleeping." GTFOH.. someone get back there and throw on that dumb rat costume. Went early Sunday shortly after opening. The environment was somewhat clean. The availability of toddler toys for a typical Chuck E. Cheese are very little. The salad bar was very poor and not nicely stocked. The choices were very limited. The pizza was fairly bland and taste like frozen pizza. read more
