    Decent size arcade

This place is awesome! Bowling, arcade, billiards, and a bar...what more can you ask for. Super chill vibe in here which I loved. Arcade had a good variety of games at very good prices. Defenitly worth checking out. Bar serves beers, wine and cocktails and very reasonable prices. They have a nice selection of beers on draft so I grabbed a mind haze and loved how ice cold it was served. That's a big plus for me. Came by on a Thursday at 6pm and they weren't too busy. They also have a onsite resteraunt so that's a huge plus. Overall make sure to check them out if your in the area. You defenitly won't regret it. Thanks Ranch Bowl for the great time. We will be back soon, till next time!

The BEST bowling on the Central Coast. Real deal bowling with great staff, great bar and great food. Such an amazing time with our whole team! Highly recommend for a staff party/team building event! Wade and his crew all make for a great time! Thank you!!!!

We catered Rancho Bowl's Tri-Tip sandwiches with salsa, salad with ranch, and beans for our son's baptism party today and it was fantastic. Best Tri-Tip sandwich I've ever had hands down-the Tri-Tip is thinly cut and the bread is a buttery amazing garlic bread. They also included all of the silverware, plates, napkins, serveware, etc. that we needed. Catering went very smoothly and the service was phenomenal. Thank you Ryan for delivering our food to us for our party-we appreciate everything you did to make sure we had everything we needed and the food was hot and perfect! We can't wait to come visit Rancho and eat more of this amazing food and go bowling.

Love bowling. Showed up here late night the other day with my hubby, we had to wait for a land but no big deal, we got ourselves and drink at the bar and a ridiculously large delicious nachos. We got a lane around 830 and the lady behind the counter was nice enough to give us a late night discount. Always have tons of fun here!

Really disappointed today after our annual family Thanksgiving outing to Rancho Bowl. Family in from Georgia, but timing was such we couldn't bowl on a weekend, so instead, we chose a Tuesday at 4pm, right when they opened. We figured we'd get there early and get out before the evening crowd came in. We erred. Our group of 7 were promptly taken care of, and assigned lane 2 for 1 hour of bowling ($80+). Cool. We had a 4 & 5 yr old, so no need to put us "in the mix". A lane on the end was perfect: we wouldn't interfere with other bowlers. The problem was, every group that came in was put down in the low lanes, such that Lane 1 had 5 twenty-somethings trying to celebrate a birthday, and Lane 3 had a family of 5, and so on. We were all packed in like sardines. The other 20+ lanes? Reserved for league night. We get that, but we'd be gone by 5pm, why not space it out? The answer? They had to wax the lanes (though at 4:30, those lanes were still dark and unwaxed). Meanwhile, down on Lanes 1-7, everyone was packed in, trying not to infringe on each other's space, guessing which bowling ball belonged to who. We ended up taking the kids home 30 minutes in. Just a bummer. We won't be coming back anytime soon. RS

Fun bowling. I'm not a fan of the hourly rate. It felt rushed. Lots of lanes and good food. Load music. Doesn't all have to be hip hop.

The current "customer service" of companies these days can be deplorable and my recent stay at Santa Maria Inn ("Historic" or not) sadly proved the lack of service or even trying . In fact, Customer Service was what was missing. For a special trip to see a family member, I drove my elderly mom up from Los Angeles for a one night visit to Santa Maria and chose The Historic Santa Maria Inn in order to keep the money going to a local family business and not a corporation (Hilton, Wyndham etc). My whole family had stayed at this hotel about two decades ago and it was fine. So I booked for a Saturday night (a month or so ago). I requested an ADA room since my 97 yr old Mom would be in a wheelchair. When we arrived, there was a short line and there was only one person working the front desk. Very long wait time to check in. They said they were sold out and we were not getting an ADA room. (My Mom's wheelchair couldn't fit through the little doorway to the bathroom.) And the room was COLD. We couldn't find the remote for the air/heat on the wall and the thermostat was locked. We called for a manager. No manager in house. We asked for maintenance to unlock the thermostat. They left for the night as well. A sold out weekend and anyone who could do anything EFFECTIVE was no where to be found! Needless to say that the night with my Mom was scary and very uncomfortable. No heat or any way to warm the room besides opening our door and dropping our luggage to hold it open. They brought blankets. That is all we were offered during our stay. On Sunday morning I told my Mom that there was no way we were going to have breakfast there (as I had promised her) and as i was carrying all of our luggage, accessories and pushing my Mom's wheelchair to the elevator, a young worker offered to help. He pushed my Mom and got us into the elevator and down to the lobby. He was kind and helpful, something we had not experienced during the night we arrived. His name was, no surprise when I asked him,"Christian." I said he was aptly named and thanked him for the only hospitality that we experienced during our stay, unfortunately we were headed out the door. I don't understand how any management can think they are serving their customers like this. Surely, they can provide assistance, management on sold out weekends and offer air conditioners and heaters that work. Sadly, that was my last stay at this hotel. I had a truly horrible experience. I only gave the highlights.

I grew up in Orcutt, so I've…read moreknown the Swiss for years, but today's meal reminded me exactly why it's such a local institution. The oak grilled open faced rib-eye sandwich was absolutely incredible. I'm not exaggerating when I say it had more flavor than Wolfgang Puck's CUT. The rib-eye was perfectly cooked to the medium temperature I requested, tender enough to bite through without a knife, and seasoned exactly the way Santa Maria style beef should be. So many places are too conservative with the seasoning these days, but they got it just right. Even the bread underneath the steak was perfect. It didn't even need salsa, but of course I tried it both ways. Honestly? I couldn't decide which I liked better because the sandwich was outstanding on its own. We also ordered the linguiça appetizer with garlic bread. The linguiça had that slight char from the grill that gives it so much flavor, and the mustard served alongside it was the perfect pairing. My mom ordered the prime rib sandwich with grilled onions and chose the 50/50 fries and grilled onions. The only minor criticism I have is that it wasn't quite a true 50/50 and could have used a few more grilled onions. Other than that, it was delicious. The pinquito beans have a little kick, so if you're sensitive to spice, keep that in mind. Personally, I wouldn't change a thing. The whole meal took me right back to growing up in the Santa Maria Valley cruising Broadway on Saturday while the entire town smelled like oak fired Santa Maria barbecue. We cook a lot at home, and we're pretty serious about our beef, so eating steak at restaurants is usually disappointing because very few places compare. That's why I was so impressed today. This wasn't just a good sandwich.. it was one of the best rib-eye sandwiches I've ever had. To whoever was running the grill today: outstanding job. You absolutely nailed it. I'll be thinking about that sandwich for a long time.

We each ordered a filet mignon with a side plate. I ordered the chicken noodle soup for starters. It was delicious. I was off to a good start. However, my companions all ordered salads with blue cheese dressing. They each reported the salad was wilted and the dressing was terrible. Then the main course came with our sides, a little pot of salsa and a little pot of beans. The filets were very tender, it not well seasoned. Baked potatoes were fine, but the mixed veggies were tasteless. There may have been some kind of bread, but I don't remember. Service was fine. But waitress really made out. She didn't mention that the tip was already included in the bill. She readily accepted a substantial tip in addition to what was already on the bill. Bad food. Rip off spot!
