Took a couple of kids from church to Chuck E. Cheese, which I hadn't visited in ages! (My kids are adult now!). The place has changed a lot, but still fun, of course, for the kids. No longer do we have to purchase tokens to play the games and win physical tickets. Everything is digitized now! I was a bit lost at first in trying to figure things out, but a wonderful young man, Autavious, was so patient with me, explaining how everything works. He even suggested a better "deal" when I was ordering food for our table. The girls had big fun - as I sat back and read my book! LOL! All in all, great place for kids to come and let out that bent up energy they have! The entire staff of young people were cordial and very respectful, which I certainly appreciated. Of note, the place may need to be a bit "cleaner", but the kids didn't notice, and they really enjoyed themselves. read more

Very crowded, some machines didn't work, and it all felt like a rip off. The staff was sweet, but definitely will not return.

Took my little one here for the first time on a random Tuesday afternoon (actually it was my birthday and this is your reminder to take the PTO). It was around 11 a.m. but the place was still pretty empty for the summertime. The young lady who took my order was very patient and gave great insight. I ended up buying a personal pizza, 30 minutes or playtime and some milk which came to $25. We had a great little time here. read more

The animatronic show still runs!!! As 80s kids we recently brought our kids to Chuck E Cheese for the first time. The staff was very nice and helpful. We purchased unlimited gameplay and the kids had a great time. The restaurant and arcade were clean. The food was as expected, with the exception of the unicorn churros. I love a churro but these were Instagram worthy but stale. Our family of four spent about $100 on food and one hour of gameplay. read more

The horrors of this hellmouth cannot be overstated. Noise levels that would drive anyone insane after prolonged exposure. Understaffed and obviously poorly managed. Terrible, ridiculously overpriced food. In a place catering to families, we waited OVER AN HOUR for one pizza, one order of wings, and a pile of raw vegetables. I brought my 2 young kids here this past weekend for the first time. They were used to going to the Chuck E. Cheeses in Hawaii being they grew up in Hawaii for the first few years of their life. We were expecting this franchise to be as good as the ones in Hawaii. It was a Sunday afternoon so it's expected to be packed with people. There were lots of parties happening. I go in with my family and do the usual of getting the family ready to have their arms stamped. If you haven't been to Chuck E. Cheese in a long time, they stamp everyone in your party so that children do not leave the building unattended or with someone else. Usually the front hostess is supposed to ask of we are celebrating a party. She did not ask at all and it seemed they did not have seats reserved for guests that plan to dine in. We basically had to search the area for a place that was available to sit. Most of the workers seemed to not take their jobs seriously and seemed to not wasn't to be there. When it was time to order our food, I stood in line for a long time. The cashiers seemed to not work quickly and efficiently. Once I ordered my food, the cashier handed me a bunch of plates for pizza and the salad bar, eating utensils, my receipt, and 4 cups without a serving tray. When I got to the salad bar, it looked messy and the toppings were not appetizing. The ham looked spoiled and discolored. The salad dressing did not look fresh. When we sat at our table, it felt like it wasn't washed down. It was sticky and I had to wipe the table with my Clorox wipes. The party room looked okay. All the animated characters were in working order but looked dingy and outdated. The tables were decorated accordingly although this franchise doesn't keep to the theme by allowing their guests to decorate however they wanted. There was no characters to greet the children during the parties or even special things to do with the kids. In Hawaii, there was always a Chuck e cheese character holding a free tickets sign and having the kids dance along with Chuck E. The pizza and chicken wings we had was good. Usually when your food is delivered, the hostess takes your number but there's also a check ticket for them to come back and see if the food was okay. All the games were in working order. They were new games my kid have not seen before but they mostly played what they know. The prize counter wad organized and had a big selection. I got one of their toys and was short some tickets. The young girl told me to pay a difference of 50 cents. When I was about to pay her, she said I had to stand in line to pay at a cashier. I could have walked off with the ball but I was honest and waited in the long line again. We'll probably go back and visit being my kids still like Chuck E. Cheese. Probably we'll go on a week night when its not busy. The staff needs to be improved. The games were great. The food quality can be saved. read more

We had a birthday party there today and the people who are supposed to run the party were barely around.. So I dropped 200.00 for a party that I could have just done at home. I have been to parties at Chuck E Cheese before and this is by far my worst experience there. I won't be scheduling anymore parties there. read more

I'm guessing this Chuck E. Cheese received a remodel because I'm not sure what the other reviews are describing. We were tempted not to visit on our way back from Disney due to previous reviews but we are glad that we did visit! The staff was friendly, it is very clean and the pizza was actually really good! We will visit again! read more

We had our daughters 5th birthday here and everything was perfect. Pizza and staff were great! Highly recommend!

I mean, I'm just not sure what people expect from this place other than mediocre food, games for kids, and a hint of nostalgia to make new parents give a place a try that is such a hotbed for germ transmittal. Get your kids hopped up on sugar, have a beer or three, and embrace the air conditioned overstimulating funspace that is Chuck E. Cheese's. Fun fact: my husband's grandmother always called it Chunky Cheese, which I for one believe would be a better name for it. I've brought my son in three times. He's terrified of even the slowest moving rides, but loves the games where you bop the frogs or sharks on the head with a mallet. At his age, $5 in tokens lasts us two visits. It's also awesome that they let you bring in snacks for your kids, since there isn't anything but juice there that my son would actually eat. read more

I need to be clear - this is only getting two stars because my kids are obsessed with the Kiddie Casino. And although I don't expect Chuck E. Cheese's to be a five star establishment, I do expect there to be some form of...entertainment? Quality? I don't know. Something better than what it was. The food is ok. I mean parents don't go rushing over for the food. But the pizza has never been terrible. I've had worse from places touting to be true pizzarias. The real problem is the lack of space and the the lack of employee concern. We've been during weekday evenings when it wasn't very busy. The room that has the animatronics is always blocked off. Ok fine, it *kind of* makes sense when no one is really there, even though it kind of takes away the point of the stage show. But we also went last night, which was a holiday, so it was PACKED. The room was not blocked off, so we, along with a couple other families who recently arrived, snagged a booth there. Not long after sitting down, a manager told us we had to leave, that we weren't allowed in there. Apparently the room is ONLY for parties (nevermind that no other Chuck E. Cheese locations I have been to in any other state has this as a rule, particularly during busy nights...ALL booths are open, only the long tables are meant for parties). We told her that literally every other booth in the game area was taken and these were the only booths left. She shrugged her shoulders and said we couldn't stay in the room. I mean were we supposed to hold up our number and have the pizza put in our hands and then stand and eat? It certainly didn't concern the manager at all, who simply turned and walked away. It took a while before we finally got an empty booth, because it's not like this is a place where people eat and leave. What was more upsetting was that apparently some friends of an employee came in and were able to sit in the room. I watched the manager, who noticed those friends and then noticed me staring at her...she quickly turned and walked away. So evidently the room is only for birthday parties and personal connections. Doesn't matter if there is literally no other place to sit. Many of the games were out of order, eating up tokens, or simply out of tickets. And there were not enough employees to fix the constant problems...nor did they seem to care. Everyone moved slowly, everyone seemed disinterested; it was just absurd. And considering management is the same way, it's obvious this entire place just doesn't care. The final straw was when we were getting ready to leave. Everyone in your group has the same stamp so that everyone who arrives together, leaves together. On the way out, that stamp is to be checked on everyone leaving. The woman checking the stamps flashed the blacklight on our arms and it never even showed the stamp because she wasn't actually checking, just merely going through the motion of putting it over our arm without even really looking at our arms. That's concerning, considering this safety system is meant to make sure we ARE part of the same group and for all she knew, we could have had someone else's kids. This place is chaos. I brought my daughter here around Christmas (Dec 27th ish) and I was so impressed with the employees working there. They were very attentive and friendly and there was a guy also cleaning the machines-a welcome and refreshing sight as there are a lot of kid germs everywhere, I'm sure. The girl at the "prize counter" also gave my daughter one of the toys she wanted even though she short a few tickets of it. I hope that doesn't get anyone in trouble, as I thought it was a super nice thing to do! Then my daughter dropped her candy in the parking lot on the way out and had a total meltdown. So I went back in to buy another and the girl just gave her another one free of charge! Really nice girl! Pizza came quick and was tasty. Usually I go into these places not expecting much but I was really impressed with those people working there! Good job! We will be back on the next visit to Tallahassee! read more
