When the dealership sent the wrong part they were great with getting my car back to me quickly while they waited on the correct part. Once it was in and painted (very fast turn around), they actually came to my house to pick up my car, made the repairs, and dropped it off within hours. Super fast and convenient! Their communication throughout the entire process was AMAZING! And every member of the staff I had contact with were professional and extremely kind. A highlight of Center City Collision is their communication- they call twice a week to give a general update on the car's status, as well as were quick to respond to my (many) calls and emails. I was referred to Center City Collision by my insurance as a in network body shop, so taking my car their would facilitate the repairs. Paul communicated with my insurance company the whole time and I was never concerned with that aspect of the process. Additionally, he promptly sent me an estimate of the parts and time needed for the repairs. Unfortunately the parts for my foreign car were slow to be delivered, but they were quick to repair the damage (in the timeline given during the estimate) and when a needed part hadn't been noticed in the repair process, they had it overnighted and offered a rental car. Lastly, my car was spotless when I picked it up. So while the process was long and had a hiccup, this place deserves 4 stars for their customer service.

They then refused to send the quote into the insurance company until I promised to do the work through them instead of my repair shop of choice. I again asked that they send in the quote, they said they would, then later the State Farm agent told me they contacted the location and that the quote would not be sent in. I was lied to; this practice is just wrong, and CARSTAR wasted my time - all over a minor repair job. You've earned a 1 star review; I hope losing a customer was worth it.

It was always "by the end of next week" or "we're just waiting on one more part to get approved"... but multiple times. Also, supposedly someone quit so the mechanics were backed up. Every call was answered with an excuse of why it wasn't ready yet and not providing a realistic timeline. Never once did they call us. Then when we went to pick it up after 7+ weeks (because we called again to see if it was ready yet), we noticed **NEW DAMAGE** to the car! They were skeptical until they went back thru the drop-off photos. Unbelievable! 9 WEEKS... That's 9 weeks without a car or timeline, which is unreasonable for most working adults. Pick up was a joke, too. I told Bob the whole thing has been a pain in the ass, and he just shrugged. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone, even if their timing was flexible.
