After dealing…read morewith a lot of negative people that made me feel like I was inconveniencing them, the two ladies I spoke with at Scott Albin Glass were pleasant and took the time to explain how the glass replacement process worked and how the insurance company will handle this. They never made me feel dumb or like I was wasting their time. Not to mention that they got back to me within five minutes with a quote - which came in $100 cheaper than the more popular, national company. AND they did not charge to come out and fix my vehicle at my house because we were within their service area. They called me first thing the morning they came out to tell me they were on their way, and my mom - who was here to give them the keys - said they handled everything themselves and were kind. Not only did they fix my window, they vacuumed out the glass inside the car! All of this was on one of the coldest days of the year. I will ALWAYS use them for my glass needs - both auto and residential. They act like they want your business and they followed through on everything they promised. I googled and found TRUE BLUE AUTO GLASS. Immediate text and quote which beat the "other guy" by a lot installed at my job. I booked an appt. The day before they reached out if I would be interested in a day early install since the weather cleared up and I agreed. Jon sr tech arrived right ON TIME and thoroughly explained the process. Even better than "the other business" I've dealt with before. A new windshield was installed in 45 min. My inspection stickers were re-attached as well as my GoPro mount and mirror. Like the crack never was there. In addition, the replacement also had all the exact sun shading and design the factory installed had. I've received new replacements from elsewhere that were all full glass with no sharing or details from the factory installed one. Highly impressed and definitely approve their work for referral. So, since I was in the Springfield, PA area I decided to stop into that Tint World store location to get some pricing information for what I had in mind. Immediately upon entering, I was greeted by the front desk representative whose name was "Rose". And, she welcomed me with a friendly "hello" and a "smile'. From there, I explained why I stopped in and Rose was extremely professional, kind, attentive and outgoing & began going over what window tinting options they offered. After going through my options, Rose asked when I was looking to get the tint work done and I asked her if I needed to make an appointment in advance since I just walked-in off the street. It was then she asked me if I'd be interested in getting it done right away since I was already there? At first, I was shocked that they had an opening available. Shortly afterwards, Rose's manager (Ian) came out the shop and confirmed that it would only take an hour to get everything completed. So, I said sure, let's get it done! Honestly, I can say that the entire job only took roughly 45 minutes and I was thoroughly impressed! When they pulled my truck out the bay and brought it around to the front of the store, I was extremely pleased. This was my first time going to Tint World and they were EXCELLENT! From the customer service, attention to detail, great work performed, to how fast they got me in and out at a "decent price", I will definitely go back to them if I decide to do anything else to my truck! I was advised the services would take 3 hours. I woke up early on a Saturday very exited and eager to have my services . Since I was advised the services would only take 3 hours, I called at 11:30am to get a time estimate for pickup. Only to be disappointed with a response from Ian that my car just went back at 11:30 am. 3 hours from then I stopped pass the shop due to me being in the area, and my car was infact in the same spot where I parked at 8:30am. Ian was rude and dismissive. Instead of apologizing he condesenly asked "well do you need your car? You will get a text when it's ready". I got a text at 5:12pm indicating my car would be ready for pickup at 5:40pm. When I arrived, instead of saying sorry for the delay. I was greated when a snarky comment "Better late than never", as if that wasn't unprofessional enough, I was then charged a higher price than I was originally quoted. Even though I have a written quote via text, Ian still fast talked and charged me a higher price. A price that I wouldn't of agreed upon had I known the day I made my appointment. Ian came off very condescending, arrogant, rude, and aggressive. He made this experience horrible for me. D&L was the first to respond and presented the options very well to me. When we took the VW to D&L, they were very thorough in checking it out and made it clear that the quality issues were not the radio or speakers, but the bluetooth capability. We opted to replace the radio and add a back-up camera to provide better rear view visibility. D&L set the date for the work on the spot and when we provided the car that day, promptly started the work. Everything was installed perfectly and the use of the systems were reviewed with us in great detail. Overall, great customer service, good price and excellent workmanship.
