A Great Store to get a ham for any special occasion! If…read moreyou're anywhere near DC and craving a delicious ham for the holidays or just a special dinner, I highly recommend the Honey Baked Ham store on Prince William Parkway in Woodbridge ( 2950 Prince William Parkway). It's in a long shopping center right along a pretty busy road, so getting there is fairly clearcut. There are no crazy detours or anything. The shop's in a bustling shopping center with several other stores. This means that on peak days, finding a parking spot close by can be a bit of a hunt.I have been to this store several times and have had this happen to me. I had to park a bit away. This time we went to get a ham for a Christmas dinner. What really stood out for me was the staff. They were absolutely wonderful. The two ladies behind the counter helped us navigate the options, explaining the differences between bone-in hams, pre-sliced ones, and various sizes (all pre-cooked, of course). We ended up with a fairly large one that rang up over $100, but man, it was worth it. When we got it to the party, we did not have to spend hours cooking. It was super easy to heat up following their instructions, and it was downright delicious--juicy, flavorful, that signature sweet glaze... perfection. Like I said at the beginning of this review, I highly recommend this place. The people are friendly and knowledgeable, the food quality is outstanding, and the prices feel fair for what you get. We'll definitely be back!

No issues there whatsoever and customer service was great. My issue was with the quality of the ham. I've been ordering honey baked hams off and on for 25+ years. You know what you get. A delicious, melt in your mouth ham for triple the price of a boxed Store ham. Not this time. My ham was not good. I paid $100 for a 9-lb ham and it seemed as if it was old. I should have known because typically they open it up and show you before wrapping it in the store. That's my fault for not asking. I don't think I'll visit this store again. Extremely disappointing.

I remember when the line would be wrapped around the building and the staff would offer us steaming hot coffee or hot chocolate. Now, it seems the majority pay in advance online. After you pay online, visit the store during your assigned time slot to retrieve items. There may be a short line but it moves quickly. Have your QR code ready when you get to the front of the line. It's a simple, but organized system that I appreciate.

Usually, my experiences are pretty good in Maryland so I did not think anything of it. I would have gone to the MD locations but this was the only store that still had turkeys and maybe that should have been my sign. The ordering process was seamless. I was able to pick it up next day. I enter the store -- I wasn't greeted. I wasn't directed. As the picture shows, the store was not full. I get in the line for pick ups only and for some reason, the person in front of me is doing a cash transaction. The person who came in the store after me was greeted and directed. Not only this, but they were directed to a cash register ahead of me. All in all, customer service isn't great. My oder was correct and the store was clean -- I'll give them that.

Luckily, I had ordered and paid ahead so I got the velvet rope treatment and was led into a special line for serious ham fans. I had heard the lore of the long lines around the holidays as a kid, and they are not kidding. They even had two security guards at each entrance to keep the peace. Once I made it to the front of the line, the friendly cashier handed me my order and I was on my way. It was her first day working and she was awesome. The ham was delicious and that brown sugar coating is unmatched. I love how you can just pull it out of the fridge and serve room tempreture. We got a whole ham and had enough leftovers for two days PLUS enough to make my dad's famous leftover ham fried rice. I think I found my new holiday potluck item. Pro-Tip: My mom said they sell discounted honey baked ham gift cards at Costco so I might do that next time and save some bones.

There needs to be some different line system because that shit was not working. Not really sure why you have a security guard when she obviously didn't know how to do her job... last time I checked walking around eating pringles isn't in the job description. I think pre schoolers are more competent than the people working the counter. Honey Baked Hams are not that difficult to make... i'll make sure next year I go elsewhere.

IT was quite early as it wasn't people in there sitting or really coming in yet! I was greeted immediately by the Manager Shameek/Shanique (sorry if the spelling/name is wrong) , her customer service was very nice and friendly even a little conversational and funny. I couldn't decide and she made several suggestions and even told me their lunch specials. I thought I'd surprise my mom since this is her favorite place!. I ordered the Tavern Club which is bacon , turkey & ham, lettuce tomato but on Croissant. The Tavern Club combo is 15$ but it comes with a drink and chips of your choice!. I appreciate good customer service so I'll be returning before the holidays to get my mom the soup and maybe another sandwich meal.

People are mean, try to cut you off, try to steal your spot, and curse at you. It's happened here to me literally the 3 times I've been here. I can usually walk to the area so if I was desperate walking is the way to go. Second, I placed an online order and was specific for the pick up time. I'm not sure why my order wasn't ready at all when I arrived. That's the point of online pick up and pre pay. To save time. I arrive at the almost empty store and basically have to re order my pickup order. Just without paying this time. The staff member was super nice but it didn't make up for it. My order took about another 15 minutes to prepare "from scratch." Weirdly while I was waiting the other staff would come out and take the chips to eat for themselves. It was unprofessional. When I came home with my order I noticed that the microscopic sized potato salad was missing. It took calls to the store, corporate, and to the store to get my money refunded. Speaking of which the broccoli side was the size of a dipping sauce and it was $3. The sliders were supper sweet. I've had Hawaiian rolls and they clearly added more sugar to it. I was trying out the lunch to see if I would cater here for my holiday party and the answer is a solid no. The staff member noted that hams here are frozen and you have to thaw and then prep it yourself. The ham in the sliders were mediocre at best. Save your money. Go to a grocery store and get a ham there and go home and bake. It saves the trouble of ordering from HBH, fighting the other non HBH customers, thawing, and basically making a ham.

First off the store is IMMACULATE and so well organized in addition to all the staff being extremely helpful and friendly. The cashier walked me through the lunch options and I landed on trying the classic ham sandwich (w ciabatta as opposed to a croissant) combo with potato salad as my side (there are lots of other yummy options) and a can of Coke Zero. The cashier made my sandwich to order with the modifications I requested and I was sitting at a table enjoying lunch in under 5 minutes. The sandwich had their classic honey baked ham right off the bone with fresh veggies and was dressed with the ham glaze and mayo. The glaze made the sandwich a bit too sweet for my liking but that's on me as I should've requested it either on the side or not to be on the sandwich at all. The potato salad had pretty good flavor and was prepared with mayo and mustard which is always a winning way to go in my opinion. Overall it was a tasty and classic lunch and I will probably pay them another visit to give their sliders a try.
