Worst car wash ever!!! Rude nasty and not helpful at all. Car not clean. 1st time and last time ever

WARNING WARNING WARNING WARNING I repeat warning stay away from this place. The owner is an absolute, nightmare, dishonest, and when cornered his only reply is get the hell out of here. I have everything recorded it was hysterical exchange if you go back on all of the reviews, you just see damaged car after damaged car I wish I would've checked first do yourself a favor and steer clear from this place. The best part is when I asked If he would look at the film, he said you couldn't zoom in that far. I was literally standing in the room and you could read the license plate plates. If this message just gets to one customer please do not go here. It's not a question of it being a bad car wash your car literally gets damaged. Just look at all of the reviews. read more

This is the best car wash I've ever been to for the price. It is an automated car wash and if you want your car dried off you must bring your own cloths but they have state-of-the-art vacuums which are free to use ( with a car wash) for as long as you want...they're excellent!! it's clean, new and the person operating it which I can only assume is Chuck was very kind. I have 2 cars that I have unlimited car wash plan. I have to fight with staff to properly clean my cars. They tried to charge my wife an extra $4 to clean the mud from the side of her car. She was told to come back the next day. Apparently, unlimited car wash means once per day. I argued with owner who refused to clean the car properly. I asked him if we should clean our cars before bringing it to the car wash !!!! Told me that the mud was tar. I told him that tar was black, mud is beige or brown. He rudely told me that my other option is to cancel the service. Once, the Asian guy cursed at me because I insisted that he use the bug spray (Which I paid $4 a month extra). I cancelled both accounts. This guy doesn't know that repeat customers are the key to a successful business. There will be a lot of disappointed 1 time customers. Go to Sparta, Blairstown, Byram if you want a car wash. Avoid Chuck's Car Wash at all cost. read more

First time here was met by an unpleasant owner no explanation of services price said $8 was charged $12, went thru dryers left on way too much water. After wash I walked back and explained how grill and back of car was still dirty w soapy film, he said he would run car thru again at no charge but for a basic wash your car is not going to be clean! I said I'm a new customer and it wasn't about the money he said I was too picky and berated me in front of other customers. I don't know what's picky about paying for something and settling for a half decent result. I paid again another $8 and he claimed to give me the works. The end result was the car was soapy, spotty, dirty! I would pay $50 to have customer service with a smile and accept the half clean car. It is sad that the way he felt with a new customer was to charge me again, berate me in front of other customers, said his equipment is responsible for the half of job and sent me away never to return again! Ok, a little kid with a hose and some soapy water would have done just as well. Someone else wrote that it doesn't dry well, I'd say it doesn't dry at all! Pulled up to garbage can to throw out my trash and the man removes the can and drags it away from my car. I go to throw my garbage in another can and he asks are you getting a car wash and I say yes. He goes well go through the car wash I said ok after I clean out the inside of my car. He tells me to get the fuck out of there and tells me he's going to throw the trash back in my vehicle. I've been going here for years. I pulled up today and was told the advertised price is wrong and charged $12 instead of $8. This is both misleading and illegal. Worst car wash ever. Get banged for an extra $4 for wheel cleaning and an extra $3 for being a pickup truck for a total of $15 wasted. Still have a dirty pickup with dirty wheels. This has got to be one of the worst car washes! I've been here many times because there is no other car wash nearby. When you pull up the guy you pay never wants to just let you get the basic car wash which is about $9.75. You tell him basic wash and he keeps trying to up sale you. JUST TAKE MY MONEY AND PRESS THE BUTTON. Today for the second time in 3 weeks I pulled out and realized my car was still dirty. The first time I was in a hurry so I just left and got it washed someplace else a few days later, but today I drove around and told the guy my car was still dirty. He told me it was because I only got the basic wash. He said that if I paid him another $5.75 he would let me go through again. REALLY! The basic wash is suppose to leave dirt on the hood and sides? My car is a 2011 Escalade and I promise you it never gets that dirty that a basic car wash shouldn't get it clean. This car wash has a pretty good air drying system, but so do the other car washes within 15 minutes of this one, but the rest still have people who dry your car after it comes out Chuck's has decided you don't really need to have your car dried, just let the spots dry. The car wash on 206 South in Byram is better and the car wash in Hackettstown is much better and less expensive. In Hackettstown you can get the super deluxe wash with triple soap for about $10. Avoid this Hole if you can. read more

I don't understand the complaints. I pay monthly, for all the washes I want. If the car is not clean, I go through again, at no charge.

Has anyone had driver's side mirror damage? They changed their entire inside a while back, after they remodeled, everytime I went thru both of my mirrors were flipped backwards, never paid attention just flipped them back, but a month ago or so I noticed a deep scratch underneath my mirror (driver's side mirror) couldn't figured out how it happened until I remember that lately the attendant at chucks car was folding my driver's side mirror, just that one not the passenger side, as if he knew only one side gets damage....today I asked the owner/manager about it and he said no, no way the roller was doing that, I explained it wasn't the cloth/sponges, but the cylinder (hard white plastic cylinder that hold the pieces of clothes hitting the car to clean it) long story short, I'm working with some legal counsel on taking them to small claims court, just wondering if anyone else has noticed damage to their side mirrors. ...? read more
