I received a call out of the blue from this company demanding payment for a two‑year‑old invoice…read moretied to work they say they performed for my 90‑year‑old parents. They do have documentation -- but at this point it's their word against two elderly clients who are no longer here to confirm anything. Both of my parents passed away last year, leaving me with no way to validate the work beyond an old invoice they suddenly decided to pursue through the next of kin. I won't comment on their electrical skills, but their business practices speak for themselves. Waiting two years to bill elderly clients, then tracking down their children after those clients have passed, is unacceptable. We paid the bill simply to close the matter, but the experience was deeply disappointing. If this is how they operate, I'd strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

I didn't even open the box the charger came in, they did it all. I now have a 48 amp level 2 charger beautifully mounted and charging away. Mine was not an easy install but there skilled technicians worked out and executed the install. They are great communicators and there prices are more than reasonable. Normally in life you are lucky if you get what you pay for, with these guys you get even more than you pay for. I wish I could give them ten stars.

From…read morebeginning, with scheduling, to finishing, with my issue being fixed, I had a five-star+ experience. Everyone was so helpful with amazing communication. Andrew, my electrician, was extremely thorough with explaining the process, step by step, of what he was doing - keeping me in the loop. He located the issue, fixed it, even making sure to take preventative measures for the surrounding area. The price was very fair as well! Andrew was friendly, knowledgeable, efficient, and extremely neat! Hands down, I would highly recommend ECO Electric for all your electrical needs!

As veterans, and with me being a retired law enforcement officer, my husband and I would not…read morerecommend this company based on our experience. My husband called Eco Electric because two outlets in our kitchen were not working. We expected to pay the standard service call fee, which was around $60 and possibly, if needed, $289 diagnostic fee. The electrician, Andrew "Drew", arrived and my husband explained the problem. Andrew gestured toward an area of the kitchen and said the issue was probably there, referring to where the GFCI outlet was located. However, before performing any diagnostic work or even checking the outlet, he had my husband sign an agreement authorizing a $289 diagnostic charge. Andrew then stepped outside, came back in, walked directly to the area he had pointed out earlier, moved a medicine box that was blocking a GFCI outlet we didn't even realize was there, and simply pressed the reset button. The outlets immediately started working. At that point, my husband asked if the diagnostic charge was still necessary since the problem had already been resolved. Andrew told him the charge still applied because he had already signed the paperwork, even though the issue had been fixed before any actual diagnostic work had taken place. That is what left us feeling misled. Our concern has never been about paying for honest work or a legitimate diagnostic. Our concern is that we were asked to authorize a $289 diagnostic fee before basic troubleshooting was performed, and once the simplest possible fix restored power, we were still expected to pay the full diagnostic charge simply because the paperwork had already been signed. Andrew seemed like a nice person, but that doesn't change how the process was handled. I don't know whether the technicians are paid on commission or another type of incentive, but as a customer, the process felt dishonest and misleading. My husband later spoke with Bill, who I believe was the manager or someone in a supervisory role. Unfortunately, my husband found him dismissive and defensive of the complaint. He didn't seem interested in truly listening and even interrupted my husband before he had finished explaining what had happened. To Bill's credit, he said he would speak with Andrew to hear his side of the story and call my husband back. When Bill called back, he did agree to reduce the charge by $100, which we appreciated. During that conversation, my husband explained that, going forward, their technicians should provide a more thorough explanation and perform basic troubleshooting before asking customers to authorize expensive diagnostic charges. Otherwise, the process can leave customers feeling misled and can come across as deceptive. What was especially disappointing was reading the comments Andrew entered on our invoice afterward. He (Bill or Andrew) wrote that the customer "was not happy with having to pay for the diagnostic" and that he "wouldn't be able to work with him again." That is simply not an accurate representation of what happened. Our complaint was never about paying a fair diagnostic fee. Our concern was the lack of communication, the order in which things were handled, and the misleading process. We were asked to authorize a $289 diagnostic charge before the most basic troubleshooting step--checking and resetting the GFCI outlet--was even attempted. Once that button was pressed, the outlets worked immediately. We appreciated the $100 reduction, but that doesn't change how this experience was handled or how our concerns were documented afterward. As veterans, my husband and I expect honesty, transparency, and integrity from the companies we hire. Unfortunately, this experience fell far short of those expectations, and we will not be using or recommending Eco Electric in the future.

I've been calling Bright Lights Electric for all my electrical needs since Duey was the one man of…read morethe operation. Unfortunately, those days are no longer. The other day, I called and thought I scheduled Duey, but, today, I was sent two other technicians for a simple job. A chandelier that Duey installed a little over 2 years ago, might be more cause pandemic plays with your mind timeframe, had a problem with the base hardware in that it fell down. The only time the chandelier gets touched is when it's being cleaned and it's not like it's being screwed around like a top, just tilted back-and-forth a little. Like every other hanging light fixture is. So this should've never happened! And because it did, Duey and his company should have taken on the responsibility/liability for it because, obviously, it wasn't installed properly in the first place. So now, what I thought would be a simple fix to put it back together and affix it back to the ceiling actually was, a simple repair. Undisclosed to me upfront, I was given a invoice for $150 for 15 minutes of work. That's the company scale for two techs, I know because I've been using them for over 20 years now. But, I was told by the technician that it was so much because I WAS being charged for two technicians. When I didn't even order two technicians and wasn't told of such when I booked. Was told they had to send two technicians because they didn't know that they were up against even though I explained it fully to Danielle when I booked the appointment. It only took one technician, Duey, to install it in the first place so this makes zero sense. Then, in texting Duey about this, but I'm thinking it was Danielle, I am told that I was only charged for one technician and, I guess, that was their way of justifying the invoice price. ‍ But that also means that they now charge $300 for two technicians to come out to your property for 15 minutes of work. I just thought that this should be brought to the public's attention! Although I have enjoyed working with Duey and his company throughout the years and I do wish him the best, I think from now on I'm just gonna find a technician off of Thumbtack. Where they compete for your business instead of gouge you in the end. And the prices are still reasonable. KIM or ?-You getting all defensive here and nothing else solves absolutely nothing! You didn't even ask, as I don't think YOU really care. The literal fix was, unscrewing the cross bar mount (or whatever it's called) pulling some of the cord back out because it was bulked up underneath the bronze mounting plate and reattaching everything. It was that bulk of cord that was keeping the entire base from properly attaching to the ceiling. That's installation issues.. As for telling me that I'm malicious when I'm on a public service announcement page doing a PSA, that's laughable. I wouldn't have even brought Bright Lights into the matter, had I not truly believed it was an installation issue! You need to be more people friendly and learn how to correctly run a business. It's not about attacking your clients for their personal experiences nor their business reviews, it's about resolving their issues. Let's also get to whole booking thing with Danielle pretending to schedule Duey to come out when she knows he's not working?! That's stooping low.
