I had lunch today at Chuck's Roadhouse Bar and Grill. I've been to a couple Chuck's and have had delicious meals. I'd been up since 4:30am and hadn't had breakfast and was HUNGRY. Apparently Chuck's are known for their steaks and I ordered the 8oz cut prime rib. I asked that it be cooked medium-well. When it arrived, it was more than well done. The corn was cold on the inside and the potatoes were cold on the outside. The steak was over done. So not a stellar meal. I won't be ordering steak at Chuck's again ... given the cost, I don't think it was worth it. Elle was my server. She was friendly.

Saturday evening looking for a bite to eat , no place better than the ever popular Chuck's Roadhouse. And it was pretty crowded as we were finally seated after a 20 minute wait. Waitress was prompt and got my girlfriend and I waters right away . I ordered the bacon cheeseburger with fries . The patty was well done and the bacon definitely added to the taste. The fries were shoestring and a bit soggy and didn't taste bad but nothing really made them stand out. The Heineken beer could have been colder but I finished it . I'll never waste a beer The meal server was pretty rude and dropped the platters on the edge of the table and left like she had better things to do . In short : Food was good Price was great . Waitress was nice Server should consider another line of work.

Just tried to check out this joint Interior looks good , busy but upon reading the menu as I waited at the bar , I read about their 3 % satisfaction Charge , So the publicized 5.00 burger really is Not $5.00 , Waited for a waitress to take a beer order and maybe lunch and then I left It already seems dUMB that I should pay extra and likely be expected to tip also Good luck with that idea On my way

Yes. Chuck's has good prices on food and drinks but you get what you pay for. We went for the first time with friends. We ordered 3 prime rib and one fish and chips. I must admit the prime rib was very good and cooked to order. The fish was a bit dry and the martini I ordered for $4.00 tasted like soda pop. It was a Saturday night and they don't take reservations so the wait times were excessive. We did get a booth so had a bit of privacy but the noise level was off the charts. Once is probably enough. The Keg is your classic North American steakhouse experience. Quite overpriced but overall…read moreenjoyable, quick, reliable and filling. The server was very friendly and the portions were good. You're definitely paying a premium for the environment, not the food. Caesar was slightly too bland and could've used more salt / hot sauce / Worcestershire. Steaks and appetizers were good. Bread was great.

A fairly decent place to get steak cooked at top-notch quality, with high-quality professional…read moreservice. My reservations concerned primarily the other dishes and the plating. The appetizers included a nicely crusted and very hot French onion soup, and creamy and rich lobster bisque, and a side salad with Italian vinaigrette. The two soups were particularly nicely flavored; the mixed green salad was solid though some of the leaves were slightly darkened and/or lacked freshness. The mains were excellent; the trademark steak (NY strip and filet) were nice and juicy, with a decent texture for their respective cuts. Also appreciated that the cuts weren't overseasoned (though perhaps I would have preferred more pepper). The vegetarian shepherd's pie was oversalted, and in general the potato top was mostly untextured. The dish itself seemed a bit paltry as well. It came with a salad accompaniment, which was odd, since the salad was being cooked as it was placed next to the cast iron dish containing the shepherd's pie. Also worth commenting on was the plating; the NY strip came with a garnish medley of green beans and carrots; both were cooked to perfection, however, they were presented in a haphazard manner. The mushroom medley accompaniment tasted decent, but they were unevenly cut and came in different sizes. The cauliflower mash was decent; however, there could have been more of it. It was also presented in a rather dull manner. I also think that some coloration of garnish could have helped the presentation; how about parsley or cilantro on top of the cauliflower? A bit of spice as well? The plates themselves were rather dull as well; usually a plain white plate. They could use a trim, or coloration. These details might be passed over or ignored in a lesser establishment, but given the reputation of The Keg, it would be worth making small modifications which would elevate the experience commensurate with the pricing of the menu items.

We ordered beet salad, artichoke dip, crab cakes, Kang's fiery pork and Smokey BBQ lime chicken. All of the dishes were categorized as appetizers but they were main dish sizes! It's hard to imagine with $30+ per person, you can enjoy a fancy meal with attentive service these days. Unlike many other restaurants in GTA, this place doesn't charge you money for bread and the quality is so good. I really like the soft butter with good scent. The beet salad with goat was quite refreshing. The artichoke dip was flavourful too. The pork is tender and flavourful (spicy). Strongly recommend these three dishes. I didn't like the crab cake which doesn't have much crab flavour and the texture of which is weird too. The chicken is dry too. The server was offering to replace our chicken dish with something else when he heard the dish was so-so (although we didn't ask him to switch it). We were so satisfied with the environment and service here that we wanted to revisit during the rest of our trip if they were opening on those days. It'll definitely be my number one dinner choice when I'm revisiting London.

Definitely do better on that because its a great app which i get every time i come. Our entrees were amazing. I don't know if they got a new chef, but I was blown away by the tenderlion i had. My date had a chicken entree and absolutely loved it. They still need to add sound deadening pads to the ceiling, but it wasn't too busy, so I could hear my date. service was ok, but we ran late due to conversation, and felt pushed to go. at least i wasn't called hunny this time.

We decided on the following dishes: I) Seasonal grilled crostini II) Grilled octopus III) Whole wheat angel hair with jumbo prawns & scallops The crostini was by far my favourite. The mixture of duck, coriander, and toppings made for a delectable appetizer. However, the octopus was not what I expected. I think I had in my head a more tender texture typically found with squid tentacles. The octopus was oddly soft/chewy, and threw my tongue into a bit of a limbo. The pasta was delicious - a reliable seafood dish that was a surprisingly decent portion even when shared. The service stood out to me because we only ordered one entree, and the waitress recognized that we would likely be sharing, and brought it out to us already split up on two separate plates. I had never experienced such forethought, and truly appreciated the gesture. Though prices are a bit higher than other Italian joints in London, I do think Abruzzi is worth a visit.

This time was a dinner for three. We started with a dozen oysters on the half shell that were fresh and delicious. Appreciated that we were notified that they have Happy Hour Tues-Fri 3pm-5pm with 1/2 price oysters. Also had the Fried Smelts which were tasty. Two of us had Craft burgers. This time they did arrive as ordered (last time med rare arrived well done) but they mixed the orders. One was med rare and the other rare. Not nice having to change burgers after each taking a bite. Despite the mix up the juicy burgers and fries were excellent. The other order was the Braised Beef Cheek Birria Grilled Cheese. This was very good but a touch pricey at $28 for what you get. Speaking of price, the craft burger is $24. I asked for a side of mayo for the fries and it arrived promptly. They charged $2 for the mayo which was not mentioned. Considering that our total bill ran $250 it seemed out of place to charge for mayo. One of the best reasons to come to Craft Farmacy is to try craft beers which they rotate regularly. We each enjoyed a beer or two. For desert we ordered their Chai Crème Brûlée and Crack Pie with gelato. Both are highly recommended. We also had glass of sherry that unfortunately was off and had to be sent back. Replaced with a glass of Port. When the bill arrived the sherry was not removed, they did take it out when we caught the mistake. Our meal was much better than the last visit. All of the food was well prepared this time but the little mistakes on burger mixup and sherry on the bill were disappointing. Still if looking for a good burger and a great beer you can do a lot worse than Craft Farmacy.
