Where to even start?!?!? Luis Bordon was absolutely amazing from the very first phone call. My husband and myself tried to purchase a home two years ago with Jeff Cook homes. We were given a huge run around passed from agent to agent. I'm a very needed person with being very specific to what I want. When starting our journey we decided we weren't going through the hassle again we were going to find a small townhome. As I put our information into ChuckTown homes website within about five minutes Luis already sent a text. After walk throughs and my nagging, my husband being too busy to get information to our lender and underwriter. Timothy Werdein from ChuckTown Homes was fabulous. I do not say this lightly. This was our 7th home in our 34 yrs. of marriage, but the 1st house out of state. We had never moved more than 10 miles, but had some rough experiences with realtors. Finding a home 7 hours south (Ohio to SC) during January/February was not an easy challenge AND then you throw in the crazy housing market in the Greenville area and I felt so overwhelmed. Tim quickly set us up with a portal to help track homes. He rolled with our yo-yo price range as we decided what we wanted and what we were willing to spend. My husband and I chose Chuck Town Homes to sell our condo in Charleston based on a referral from our daughter who used them to help her and her husband buy their first home. We live across the country in Washington State and met our selling agent in Charleston, Matt Farrow to initiate the sale. Matt was professional, knowledgeable about the price point for sale and helpful for what was worth updating in the condo to make a good sale. He gave us the name of a reliable local contractor that cleaned up our condo with new paint, some flooring, blinds, and overall cleaning to make it ready for sale. He explained the sale process and where the listings would occur. Within a few days of listing there were showings. We had offers on the property and Matt helped us negotiate the final sale price. Matt was quick to respond to us. We were able to complete documents online with his guidance. I told him when we were done that I would like to work with him again. Cindy Harris was our closing agent and was very well organized and guided us through the closing phase. I like the attorneys they chose for closing. We happened to be in Charleston for this and the attorneys had a West Ashley office so we did not have to go downtown. When we bought this condo initially years ago we used a different real estate company. The buying agent was not as responsive. I 'm glad our daughter recommended ChuckTown Homes Real Estate. WOW. WOW. WOWWWW!! Where do I even begin? I guess I can start out by mentioning that my wife and I have never purchased a home before, but believe me...it did not feel that way with Kristie Brown and ChuckTown Homes on our side!!! The guys at ChuckTown Homes really took care of us when it came to selling our home. Calling them was the best decision we made in this process. They were able to walk us through the steps of getting our home sold and they gave us the pertinent information we needed to make good decisions. Admittedly, our condo was a challenge to sell: we had little equity in the home and could not afford to pay out of pocket, additionally, our modestly priced condo did not qualify for FHA financing - further reducing the buyer pool. Despite this, the folks at ChuckTown Homes got us multiple showing weekly, so we knew our home was being put out there. We ended up renting out the property for a few years until our equity and financial condition improved - even with this, the folks at ChuckTown gave us a great suggestion for a hassle-free management company. When we finally relisted a few years later, even though we were out of state, ChuckTown took care of the relisting and got the property sold pretty quickly. This is a very professional company that goes above and beyond any other real estate company I have ever used. Jeremy Wilson handled the listing and sale of our second home in the Charleston SC area. We flew in from our of state and met with Jeremy. He had a packet all ready for us to go over concerning the price we should list at. We needed some updating done and since we would be home he arranged for a contractor to give us a bid and then followed up every few days with pictures and emails about the progress. As with any work there were a few problems and he contacted us immediately and then followed through with the "fix" . We listed when the work was complete and sold at full price that very day. It's no secret that buying a home right now is very difficult on so many levels.
