Really well decorated interior and spacious. Our server was really friendly and food was very quick to come out. I enjoyed our dishes one was crisp chicken + rice and one was bulgogi beef. Also tried these cheese balls from appetizer menu that were surprisingly amazing , like crisp on the outside mochi balls. I definitely think it could be better to go with a bigger group to try more of the menu or some of their set combos were too big to order for 2 people.

Whenever we come to Vancouver, this Korean-style Chinese restaurant is a must. Once again, it didn't disappoint--always spotless, always welcoming. We usually go for the black bean noodles, but this time we tried the seafood spicy noodle soup, and it was perfect for the start of a chilly autumn. The smoky aroma, the rich, spicy broth, and all that fresh seafood made it so comforting. The sweet and sour pork is also our favorite--crispy, not overly sweet, just right. The fried chicken with soy-based sauce was delicious too, though it's better to come with a group so you can try more dishes. Everything was simply excellent.

I love this place!!! Was recommended by a local person and it was definitely worth! Parking lot is big and inside is also very spacious. Great for group. Everyone works fast/efficient/and friendly. Price is reasonable. Food tastes great and refreshing. Their fried food was soooo bomb! So crunchy and juicy. I am definitely going back!

We got the 59 dollar combo(the top one on the menu) It contains the fried pork in sweet and sour sauce, the black bean noodle and the seafood noodle! I gotta say it is delicious, the portion is HUGE. We couldn't finish any dish completely. The seafood soup is sooo delicious but a little bit too spicy, the black bean noodle is so good it's better than the ones I had in Seoul, and the pork is pretty good too! They also got lunch specials on weekdays it's better deals. Also they have a waitlist most of the time so be patient. Service is pretty good, the place is spatial with high ceiling. Very cute decorations

Possibly the best Kirean-Chinese cuisine in the PNW. Spacious seating, high ceilings, well kept furnishings and the best part - clean. Everything seasoned just right. Traditional banchan ~ kimchi, onions & yellow radish slices, all fresh. Fav ~ Jjajjangmyeon Black Bean Noodles. Thick gooey black bean sauce, plenty of protein and onions, noodles so chewy. Deep Fried Pork ~ must get. Batter delicately crispy, tender meat, sauce so guud. Ordered a ton, ate a ton. Service was friendly & courteous. Get a lazy Susan table and order everything.

To anyone that knows and craves the classic delivery jajangmyeon from Korea, this place hits the spot. We ordered the classic jajangmyeon, jjamppong, fried dumplings, and sweet and sour pork. Rating them from best to least: 1. Jajangmyeon 2. Fried dumplings 3. Sweet and sour pork 4. Jjamppong The jajang noodles were perfectly cooked, and the sauce gave me immediate flashbacks to ordering it in Korea. For anyone who searches for good, authentic jajangmyeon, you know what I mean. It was savory, smoky, and all the textures were done right. The dumplings surprisingly outdid the sweet and sour pork. Both were good, but the dumplings left an impression more than the pork. The only dish that I wouldn't order again was the jjamppong. The ingredients weren't the most traditional. The broth had a nice smoky flavor which impressed me, but the depth wasn't there. You wouldn't typically see broccoli in jjamppong so if that gives you an idea... Service was friendly, wait times were accurate, and the restaurant was clean and spacious! I will definitely come back the next time I visit Canada, and would highly recommend to everyone as well.

Got the ultimate trio - the combo with sweet and sour pork, black bean noodles and (not pictured), jjambbong (spicy seafood noodle soup). Everything was tasty and portions are amazing. I think the jjajangmyeon could be a little smokier and savoury but still good. Would recommend!

Chuihong used to be located across from my high school, so I've had their black bean noodles (jajangmyeon) many times. I personally think they have the best black bean noodle in Vancouver (texture, taste, and price-wise) and I often come back with high school friends to have it again. I recently went and saw that they have a seafood version, so I got it to try! There were many squid pieces, and it did not taste super fishy (they maintained the black bean noodle taste). I also really like their spicy seafood noodle soup (jjamppong). It has a garlicky, savoury, spicy flavour with lots of vegetables and seafood pieces. The service at Chuihong is also good. The staff will provide pickled radish, and (if you ask) kimchi! During the year, the decor inside the restaurant also changes, so there is a nice, modern feel to the restaurant. Definitely come here for the black bean noodle!

It's a hit or miss when it comes to jajangmyeon, but this place was a hit!!! It was one of the best jajangmyeon I've ever had and sadly this place is only located in Surrey. The noodles were cooked perfectly el dente and the sauce was very flavorful with a good amount of meat and veggies in it. It also comes with a side of takuwan which pairs perfectly with the noodles. We also had the tangsuyuk and the portion was huge and really good! It wasn't super oily and I liked that the sauce was on the side so the pork wouldn't get soggy. The sauce portion was huge too and it was the perfect balance of sweet and sour with lots of onions, bell peppers, and carrots. By the end of the meal, we still had a lot of leftover sauce even from drowning the pork in it. This spot is now on my must-go-to list whenever I visit Canada!!!

    The cheese balls were 12/10!!

The restaurant was situated in a newer looking Plaza and had a decent parking lot. Though when we got there on a Friday night there was only a few available spots. We ordered the cheese balls as an appetizer and the combo for 2 to 3 people that included spicy sweet and sour deep fried chicken, jajangmyun, and spicy noodles soup with seafood. The cheese balls were as close to the ones i tried in Korean in texture and flavour. Also 6 cheese balls for $10 is the best deal I've seen so far. There was SO much food. Perhaps the cheese balls were too filling but my partner and I felt like we barely was able to make a dent in the dishes. The food also came out piping hot and fresh. Some of the chicken was honestly still a little too hot to ear after a good 30 mins into the meal. The seafood spicy noodles soup was so flavourful as well. I could see that the vegetables had a nice char to them so you could tell they really developed a lot of layers of flavours for the soup. The noodles for both noodles dishes were such a nice texture, just the perfect chewy and bouncy. Their wait list was also displayed on a large screen at the front and was quite organized. We called ahead and they also were nice enough to add our name to the waitlist over the phone ! Some waitlists you have to be there to sign up. All in all, I would go back for sure ! Great for groups or groups of two for lunches.

Dinner for 4 - 6PM Parking lot can get really busy and restaurant is spacious but it does get really busy around 7PM. Ambiance is spacious, clean and comfortable. Service is good. Got our order right away and brought tea and water to the table. Food was delicious. The amount is perfect for sharing. Everything was good! I would highly recommend this restaurant and would definitely come back again.

It was supposed to be my final meal of this leg of my Vancouver food trip, and with so many…read morerestaurants to choose from, I decided to trust my gut and head to Dragon Wok. Faced with two locations, I picked the newer one for reasons I can't quite explain, and thus began an amazing journey. The spacious parking area was a great start, and as soon as I stepped into the restaurant, I was greeted by a bright, soothing, and clean environment. The Far East vibes were unmistakable, with signs all around confirming I was in a Chinese place. A polite girl greeted us and guided us through the extensive menu, helping us choose the best dishes and combinations. To give some context, Indo-Chinese food originated in Kolkata, Bengal, and evolved as it spread across India, with each region adding its own twist. My favorite is Bangladeshi Chinese, known for its aroma, toned textures, and balanced, soothing sauces and condiments. Although Indo-Chinese variations have diverged from their Bengali-Chinese roots, I was hoping to find something that would closely match my taste preferences. That's when a gentleman named Abrar approached us. To my delight, he was from Kolkata, the birthplace of Indo-Chinese cuisine. He took the time to understand our preferences, crafting recommendations that seemed tailored just for us. He went above and beyond, even deciding how to tweak their original dishes to match our taste buds. We decided to go all out with his suggested combinations. We started with the appetizer, the Spicy chili garlic wings, and they were incredible--thin, yet with the crispiest crust, perfectly balanced with the chili garlic sauce. They were well-marinated with no gaminess, and the juicy inner layer contrasted beautifully with the crunchy exterior. 5/5. The Masala Fish blew us away--it was unforgettable. It wasn't overly spicy; a hint of sweetness brought out the flavors, with a light, airy crunch giving way to melt-in-your-mouth fish. The Crispy Chili Beef was very special. It wasn't dry, with a perfect semi-crisp exterior and juicy interior. Each bite validated how beef should be cooked. The sauce was perfectly balanced, neither too salty nor too sour. The Ginger garlic chicken was stir-fried to perfection, super soft with a soothing gravy, and the perfect blend of oriental sauces. Everything was balanced just right. The vegetable Hakka chowmein were not too oily, and though the noodles were a bit thinner than usual, they complemented every entrée so well it felt like a match made in heaven. Finally, the dessert--Ice cream with fried banana--was an ingenious creation. The warm, crunchy banana paired perfectly with the cold ice cream, creating a delightful ending to the meal. The girl at the reception (sorry, I didn't ask her name) was incredibly cordial, checking in on us several times and even offering complimentary green tea. Abrar also checked in on us a couple of times, providing exceptional service. I noticed him being attentive to every customer, offering nothing short of the best service you can get in a restaurant. I know taste buds vary, and Indo-Chinese palates differ across the subcontinent, but as someone extremely picky about Indo-Chinese food, I feel I had my best Indo-Chinese experience in North America at Dragon Wok. You're in good hands with these experts from the birthplace of Indo-Chinese cuisine.

Dragon Wok is a solid choice for tasty Indo-Chinese food with great portion sizes! The servings are…read morehuge--you definitely get your money's worth, and there's usually enough for leftovers. The menu is extensive, offering everything from classics like General Tso's and lo mein to more unique options. With so many choices, there's something for everyone. The food always comes out hot and flavorful, and the staff is friendly and efficient. It's a great spot when you're craving Indo-Chinese food and want big portions that satisfy. We got veg fried rice, Manchurian chicken, and shrimp chow mein and honestly those plates were wiped clean. It was enough for four starving people. I'm tempted to come back and try their soup and other things on the menu. Can't wait!
