This hyped Korean Noodle House delivers a colourful experience with a focus on "value" over variety. I tried the beef ribs and pork noodle, and both were adequate --, satisfactory , and leaning toward the spicier side, which added a nice kick without being overwhelming. The menu isn't very extensive, but that seems intentional, keeping the focus on doing a smaller selection well. Service was friendly and efficient, and the wait time wasn't long, which made the visit smooth overall. The seating is a bit tight, so it may feel slightly crowded during busy hours. One thing to note is that they don't offer sharing bowls or plates, which, combined with market pricing, makes it less ideal for sharing dishes among a group. That said, there were a few downsides that took away from the experience. My dining companion felt there was a heavy amount of MSG in the food and didn't feel well afterward. I personally didn't have the noodle soup, so I didn't experience the same level of discomfort, but it's something worth noting. Seating is hard and uncomfortable, and aside being crammed together elbow to elbow with neighbouring tables. Definitely breathes a sign of ultra minimalist working class vibes. Overall, while the food and service were good, these issues added some doubt and took away from what could have been a more positive experience.

Have been waiting for the hype to die down and finally managed to give this spot a visit! Pricing was on the higher side for Korean noodles in the area ($19-22) but was definitely quality! Highly recommend getting the combo sets to try more dishes! We ordered the 3 person combo and it left the 5 of us super full! We got the double decker (came with so much meat), Chicky Chicky garlic (comforting broth), shroomy creamy (unique notes from the perilla base), galbi (super tender) and kimchi pancake! All the food was really tasty and would come again to try their soy marinated seafood!

Went to Korea Noodle House for a late lunch and didn't have to wait too long on a Friday. There was only two parties ahead of us, and we got a table within 10 minutes. The portions here are massive, and they are very generous with the protein. The Double Decker Pork Bone Broth Noodle was probably the table favourite, but there was so much meat that none of us could finish our bowls. Most other tables ended up asking for takeaway containers as well. Service is quick and efficient. This is the type of place where you're in and out within 45 minutes. Overall, I get the hype and I think it's a great bang for your buck. Honestly speaking, you could probably save half of the bowl for the next day's lunch!

Arrived at around 6pm on a Saturday night- we had a party of 5 so I had my partner go and line up first, and good thing I did because a lot of people lined up after us! We had to wait for 15 mins or so to have more consecutive seats, but once seated we were able to order food very quickly. We got the $105 galbi set for 3, which comes with 6 pieces of galbi, a kimchi pancake, and 3 noodles of your choice (we got the double decker, the garlic chicken, and the perilla leaf one). Food came out really fast and came with complimentary fresh kimchi and yuzu-flavoured radish. Noodles were perfectly chewy and were bursting full of flavour, and meats were soft and cooked to perfection. Kimchi pancake was also nice and chewy. Inside is really small but reminds me of restaurants in Korea. Would come again if I dont have to wait!

A small korean noodles house at the courtyard of crystal mall. We were lucky we didnt have to wait too long. Service was great but the tables are very close and packed. So a little crowded while eating We ordered the double decker noodles and the fire baby octopus noodles. We also ordered one of the noodles to be a combo with kimchi pancakes Both noodles were delicious and the portions were generous as well. There were 2 big pork bones and a lot of baby octopus with the noodles. the flavor of the sauce were great but i am unsure if they toned down the spiciness because both noodles were not as spicy as other korean noodles. But i love the chewiness of the noodles. I wish they could allow customers to choose the spicy level. The kimchi pancakes were flavorful tooand chewy. The menu isnt big but they have a number of popular items. I would love to visit again for their raw crabs side dish

Finally got to check out Korean Noodle House, a contemporary take on traditional kalguksu or knife cut noodles. When we arrived at 4:25, there was already a line beginning to form. The restaurant is quite small and the tables are placed close together to allow room in the middle for servers to walk around. Luckily, we were sat in the first seating. The wooden chairs were a bit uncomfortable, but it was nice that there was a hidden cubby underneath for people to put coats and bags. We ordered the top 2 most popular dishes and the kimchi pancake. The menu is quite simple with limited options, which works well for my decision paralysis. Everything arrived quite quickly. We were served side dishes as well - the fresh kimchi was spicy and crunchy! We started with the kimchi pancake. It was chewy with a hint of spice. I really liked the sauce that came with it - it was sweet and sour and loaded with garlic and chives. When the double decker arrived, I instantly knew why it was called the double decker. 2 large pieces of pork bone stacked on top of each other and ready to be devoured. I opted for the chicken ginseng soup, which looked a lot more ordinary. However, the soup was hearty and packed with flavour. The chicken was a bit dry, but after soaking in the soup for a while, it started tasting better. Value is quite good as each bowl of soup is around $20-$22 but is guaranteed to make you full. I couldn't finish my soup and had to bring it to go. However, I would only come if I didn't have to line up.

Famous for their noodles! I enjoyed the beef galbi as well. The kimchi pancake was a bit underwhelming but not as spicy as i thought. This place only seats people after everyone arrives, no reso, do not accept cash, but the biggest shocker was they don't have bowls so you cannot share the soup broth, only had a little dish to use. Find it strange since noodle portion was pretty generous. Will be back though as I still enjoyed the food.

Food was good and portion was huge. I had the pork bone broth noodle and it was delicious. It came with a huge pork bone and they give you a horseradish sauce to dip the meat in. Also ordered the kimchi pancake and it was really good.

Waiting time: 3.5/5 Cleanliness: 5/5 ‍Service: 4/5 Taste: 3/5 Pricing: 3/5 Overall: Came here with a friend with no expectations. We're big fans of Kang's Kitchen in Coquitlam but had heard mixed reviews about this spot. Luckily, the line wasn't long and we got seated right when they opened. The tables are pretty tight, and they don't provide sharing bowls, so we made do with the small plates they gave us. The broths were okay - a bit bland and nothing too special. We were most excited for the noodles, but they were unfortunately overcooked. Overall, it was an underwhelming experience considering the hype. I wouldn't wait more than 30 minutes for a table here.

Kalguksu (Korean hand pulled noodles) is one of my favorite Korean dishes, so when I heard that a celebrity Korean chef had opened a Kalguksu restaurant here, I had to try it out. I tried to get a seat right at opening during the beginning of their soft launch for dinner but the tables were all sold out. Now a month later, they've got rid of their ticketing system and it's first come first served. We arrived at 5:30pm and waited in line for about an hour on a Friday. The interior is very small and the spacing is very tight. We ordered the combo that includes two noodle bowls and a plate of galbi. We chose the gamjatang (pork-bone soup) and ginseng chicken noodles. The broth for the gamjatang was Korean level spicy, which is equivalent to a medium-hot spice level here. The flavor for the chicken soup was very light and tasty. We also ordered the potato pancake with fire grilled cheese on top which was really delicious and crispy. The galbi was also thick and had good flavor as well. The only thing that bothered me a little bit was that the noodles were pretty soft and felt pretty soggy compared to other kalguksu places I've been to which had chewy and bouncier noodles. Not sure if it's customizable for next time but I'll be sure to try it again sometime!

There was a lineup on a Monday night, but thank goodness we only had to wait for 15 minutes or so. Their menu is pretty small, price is fair. My husband ordered the ginseng chicken noodle (one of the few non-spicy noodle dish) and I ordered the double decker, and add galbi to make a combo. Galbi tasted well marinated, my double decker noodle is huge. Lots of pork meat & bone, and had to ask my husband to finish some for me. The chicken noodle tastes great, my hubs liked it. I just wish the noodle in my double decker is a tad chewier. Tables are super close together, so you don't sit very comfortably, but I do appreciate they have a cubby hole underneath chair for you to put jacket and bag. I'd come back for the food again, if lineup remains short.

We went at 5pm on Sunday and were lucky to be seated right away. The food came pretty quickly. Service is good. Staff were attentive. Kimichi and marinated radish were refilled. Beef short ribs were super tender. The noodles are great. Both ginseng chicken and the double decker were good!

Korea Noodle House is very popular and always has a long line up! My spouse and I were able to get a table without lining up by having an early dinner at 5pm. The tables are very small but clean and neat. The chairs are specially designed to have a storage space. We tried their Galbi Combo for two ($74), which came with 6 pieces of Galbi (beef short rib) and 2 bowls of noodles of our choice. We picked Double Decker (pork bone broth noodles) with less spicy and Chicky Chicky Ginseng (Ginseng chicken noodles). The short rib and the pork bone were very tender. The meat fell off the bone easily. The ginseng chicken is soothingly delicious. The portion is pretty good for the price. The complimentary kimchi and pickled radish tasted different from what we usually have in other restaurants. The kimchi is very crunchy and the pickled radish has yuzu flavor. Service is great. The food came pretty quickly and the servers were friendly. Now I understand why there is always a line outside!
