We went with Churchill glass based on a review on next-door. They must have used a different Churchill glass. We called Steve and everything started great, he came out took measurements and ordered the glass. He later notified us that it was in and we began trying to schedule an install. That's when he must have went into the witness protection program because we have yet to hear from him again. We just completed a bathroom remodel that included a level entry shower for which Steve provided a frameless enclosure. As reported by the other reviewer, Steve does really top quality work; the finished item is everything we hoped. In addition to the actual work, I want to stress how valuable the consulting and advice was that Steve gave us. First of all, he had no hesitation in coming to our house when the shower construction, which I did myself, was at the stage that the shower base had been installed and the next step was to install the cement backer board on the two walls. (Many companies won't come out until all the tiling is done and they can make final measurements.) We talked about the best location for the two attachment points of the fixed panel and the door, the best orientation of the shower set and the transition from floor tile to shower tile, this being level entry. This was a huge help to me. So, I think the quality of the finished shower owes almost as much to his excellent advice as to his craftsmanship. Finally, Steve seems to have stepped up his game with respect to communication. We had originally arranged for the install to occur on a Friday, but his glass fabricator had a delay, so he called on the Tuesday before and the install was moved to the following Monday. I reached out to place an order. I was quoted a price and accepted that. Contacted them Repeatedly for over a month to get the pieces. They don't ever return emails or phone messages. They don't answer the phone and I tried to give them my business as hard as I could. They didn't want it. They never provided my order even after multiple multiple phone calls. Their delay and never responding created a delay in my project because I wanted to be honest and honor my order with them that they never did or finished or called me back or returned an email or anything for over a month ... and still nothing after so many messages it was silly. So I suggest that if you really want it done to choose a company that will actually honor what they tell you they will do. I guess it's good for them to have so much business they don't need or want new customers. That's a great problem to have. So much for my wanting to support local businesses. . read more

Steve re-installed a large three-pane glass shower enclosure for our master shower, and he did a great job. This was a tough project, and several other companies claimed they couldn't do it, and even Steve wasn't sure, but he said he'd be happy to come out and have a look. When he arrived, he quickly assessed that a piece was missing, searched the internet to find the right unit, and then called his distributor and ordered the part. Awesome! He said he would come by the next Friday to install and would meet me at 9am with the part. When that Friday came, I was on my way to the house to meet him, and at 8:30, mid-traffic, he called me and said the part didn't come in, and that he's have to reschedule until the following Monday. The reason I'm giving 3 stars rather than 5, is because of his communication. I mean, couldn't he have called me the night before to tell me this? I had scheduled my whole morning around meeting him, and then he just cancelled. The second poor communication came after he installed the door (again, he did a good job). At the end of the job we asked if he would replace the plastic piece at the bottom, and he said he didn't have it on him but could get it and bring it back the very next morning. He suggested we pay him in advance for it and promised he'd return in the morning to install. So we paid him. The next morning he didn't come, and he didn't call. After several messages to him, he finally called the next day and said he got tied up on a job but would come that day to install. He finally did, but, again, communication was poor. So - good job, certainly A-OK, but frustrating to do business with and communicate with. read more

Steve did a great job - very meticulous and very easy to work with. He is a busy guy, and the voice mail is full sometimes. I would recommend using texting as the best form of communication for things like "status", etc. But my Shower Enclosure was installed about 2.5 weeks after I ordered it! I ordered specialty glass and that may have taken a couple of days longer. Also, I had to have my tile cleaned and grouted otherwise Steve probably would have been ready earlier! I prefer to work with local people as I feel that they have more pride than that National Companies. Good luck with your project! read more

This company is the only local provider/installer for Coastal Glass company (my client really wanted to use their Gridscape shower door). As such I made several attempts to reach Steve (the owner of Churchill Glass) with little success. After a few weeks of trying, I finally got Steve on the phone and he agreed to come out and measure for the door. Steve then informed me that the particular model we were interested in was on back order for twelve weeks. The client was willing to wait so we installed a basic shower curtain to hold them over until the door arrived. Eleven weeks later I began trying to reach Steve in order to confirm the installation date. I left over a dozen voice messages on both his mobile and office number, none of them were responded to. I also attempted to reach Steve by email... again no response. Fifteen weeks after the order was supposedly placed I finally got Steve on the phone. He made no excuses for not returning my calls/emails and simply said that he would check on the order and call me back the next day...... That was two weeks ago and I still have not heard from him. Do yourself a favor and find another glass provider. read more

The service was supposed to take 5 business days. Since 6/10 no one answers the phone or responds to email. Are they even still in business?
