Some of the yummiest fast food chicken I've had! It was my first time in the South and so many people told me to try Church's chicken. I am so so so glad I did! My family and I ordered spicy fried chicken, regular fried chicken, and one of every side. Everything was SO good. The flavor of the chicken was amazing and I loved the spicy seasoning they gave as well. The chicken was super crunchy and the inside was perfectly juicy and moist. My favorite sides were the honey butter biscuits and Mac and cheese. I honestly had so many biscuits on my trip from so many different places but the ones here were by far the best! I thought the corn was lacking a bit in flavor so I used the spicy seasoning on it. Everything else was good! Now I just wish I had one a little closer to home.

Lobby "closed". Strictly drive thru with multiple cars awaiting service.

Come here if you want your time wasted. This location needs new management or something! 1st incident happened about 3 months ago where I waited at drive thru for 30+ minutes to PLACE an order. They claim to open at 10am per hours posted online & on the door. I arrived around 9:50am so I'm first in line. Didn't have my order taken until after 10:30am & still didn't receive the food in a timely manner despite the wait. (Oh, & ketchup seems to be the only condiment that this location carries, Honey is never available for whatever reason). 2nd incident - Happened broad daylight during operating hours. I pull up, attempt to go inside & an employee is signaling me to go through the drive thru & that the inside lobby is closed. As I'm in drive thru (about 4 cars are ahead of me), an employee comes outside & starts telling everyone that they are now closed & we can't place an order. Mind you, in the NEXT parking lot at the gas station, the police pulled someone over & was writing the driver a ticket. After claiming to be "closed" most of the employees went outside to go look & mind the business of those in the next parking lot instead of being inside & operating the business that they're employed under. I didn't trip, I simply went right next door to Brother's since they have chicken as well. 3rd incident occurred today 6/19/23 around 11:30am. I pull up, get out of my car, I pull the door open, (didn't even step foot into the building yet) & an employee/lady is yelling "DRIVETHRU, DRIVETHRU!!" - I was shocked because dang, no greeting or nothing! Just rude! I responded by saying "Um, Hello. & okay, I will leave. Thank you!" This is me leaving a review because this location is trash & the employees do not know how to treat customers. There's no way that the lobby should be closed almost every time I come there since we are no longer operating under a pandemic schedule. & if the lobby is truly closed, why isn't the door locked so customers won't enter?! MAKE IT MAKE SENSE. I've given this location one too many chances & now I'm good on it. Hopefully this review can help the next person to simply not waste their time at this Kenner location on Loyola.

I'll start this review off by saying that if anyone is asking me for a delicious spot to eat in Metairie, you better believe Jamaican Jerk House is going to be in my top 5 recommendations. I went inside to order takeout, and the entire vibe of this spot was dope. I loved the decorations, and it definitely gave me an authentic Jamaican vibe right here in Louisiana. Being that I'm from this city, I'm always curious to see new takes on different cultures made right here at home. Everything I had was delicious, and I'm pretty sure I added +10 lbs to the belly. But honestly, it was weight worth gaining, because I had to wash everything down with a delicious Jamaican Rum Punch Daiquiri. I call that WEIGHT-WATCHERS The servers were extremely sweet and down-to-earth. As busy as this place was, you could tell there was a genuine sense of joy behind the counter. Everybody seemed like they actually enjoyed what they were doing, and that goes a long way. Now, I forgot everything I had since there are quite a few days between my visit and this review. BUT I did take a picture of one particular item I tried... And those daggone oxtail tacos... ... .. . **SHEESH!!** These things were so tender, and the tacos were absolutely overflowing with oxtail. You know you're eating good when you have to pause after the first bite and just sit there for a second, and then remember to say grace Jamaican Jerk House definitely earned a spot on my list. If you're in Metairie and looking for something flavorful, different, and downright delicious, JJH is worth the stop. And yes... I'd go back just for those oxtail tacos + Daqs WEIGHT-WATCHERS

Looking…read morearound the dining room, it seemed like no one had their food yet, so the kitchen was clearly backed up. It took about 15 minutes for our server to acknowledge us, but she apologized right away and took our entire order. From that point on, everything improved. Our appetizer came out quickly. They were running a special--2 jerk wings for $3--so we ordered two servings. For our entrées, we had the spicy brown stew plate and the jerk chicken and oxtail combo plate. I ordered the spicy brown stew, but it wasn't very spicy. That said, it was still packed with flavor, so I wasn't disappointed. The food arrived not long after we ordered, and everything was flavorful with generous portions. The meat portions were especially impressive. The rice was good, but compared to the amount of meat, I'd probably order an extra side of rice next time and split the meat and sides. They also offer a military discount, which was a nice bonus. Overall, despite the slow start, the great food and friendly service made it a worthwhile visit. Based on my experience, I'd definitely recommend this place and plan to stop by again whenever I'm in the area.

I feel like waiters that get gratuity feel as though they don't have to work because they have already gotten my tip. Also they charge you $15 if you bring a cake into their establishment. Also I DID not like how they treated a group of "black" young men that came into the restaurant. The food was absolutely disgusting.i hate swai fish. We got a bunch of appetizers: calamari wings, garlic, fries, and garlic noodles, and they were all great though the garlic noodles were probably my least favorite. Crawfish wise, we ended up getting 5 pounds of the Viet Cajun and 5 pounds of the EZ blend along with sides of corn, sausage and potatoes. Everything was great and had a lot of flavor, and we were pretty surprised by the size of the crawfish. I really enjoyed both flavors though if I had to pick, I would say the Viet Cajun was better and had more flavor. My table had four of us and we weren't able to finish everything. Overall, this spot was delicious and I love all of the variety. I love variety and options, so I will say that I wish there were more flavor options for the crawfish!
