    Smokehouse chicken

Order from DoorDash, the smokehouse chicken and instead to a dehydrated piece of leg quarter tried to call to dispute and speak with a manager phone is off the hook. Food was ice cold. My fry bag had like four fries in it and last, but at least my biscuit was hard as a rock.

It's been a while, but church's always hits the spot. Trying this new location otay mesa in San Diego. OSCAR helped us today great personality and just a great person all around. The place is very friendly and welcoming. The food was excellent, delicious. If you're craving fried chicken, I say try this place and for those that know, well you know. We got a long ride home so we're taking food to go.

Man lately no chicken in stock then undercooked chicken side missing the they stacked chicken under the paper extra greasy with chicken on top

I realized I'm not a Church's food fan. I was working in the area and needed some food from the few choices in the area. I'm like what the heck, the food pics look scrumptious. I ordered the chicken sandwich with an upgrade to jalapeno cheese poppers and fries. Since the fries and poppers are frozen and cooked in the same oil, it tastes like oil frozen food. Anyway, the server had the nerve to try to charge for ranch that should be included with the poppers. That's why we like it. Ranch needs a friend. I rated 3 stars because of cleanliness, efficient time delivery, food was hot and the menu selection is complementary for fried chicken. If you like Church's. Tip: 7-11 is next door, purchase your big gulp for a cheaper price

Am fortunate to have had a smooth, delicious experience at Church's. The chicken was freshly fried--in other words" crispy, crunchy, and delicious. The honey butter biscuits hit hard too.

Honestly, Ive always loved church's chicken, but after finding this dead mosquito on my chicken im disgusted. Not to mention the customer service, they all have a horrible not to mention but they take forever to charge you and give you your food.

The kitchen is also outside so it's similar to a farmer market set up. I ordered an onion bacon cheese burger and was surprised but how juicy the burger was. I came down here because I have a friend from up north who's come down here a few times and suggested this place. He said it's one of his favorite places when he's in town, so that's saying a lot if it's a top place for him and the family. He was right. This was a juicy and incredibly tasty burger. I'd say it's up there with Amboy in Chinatown (Los Angeles) or the newer Amboy spot at Haven City Marketplace in Covina. This place is a gem. Ordering can be a little misleading; hence minus one star. This is a food court setup, and there are menus for each restaurant in these individual stands that are placed on top of a snack wall. If you're going to order from Rey TJ Burgers, it'll be to the left of the main restaurant/register that's directly in front of you when you enter. The main line is Mexican (and seafood I believe?), so I was standing for a while until a lady realized I was holding the Rey TJ burger and called me over. Ordering was easy. Rey TJ's didn't have drinks, so I hard to order from the Mexican food line. The cucumber aqua fresca was AMAZING. Definitely one of the best experiences since I've had since I've moved to the San Diego area. I'm loving it here more and more. I've also had the opportunity to practice a lot of Spanish which I absolutely appreciate. The people here are amazing and much warmer than many of the parts of Los Angeles. Buen dia!

The Carne Asada Taco has a smoky beef flavor, and the quesadilla with corn tortilla has that seared cheese effect that you can only get with Oaxaca cheese, which is like a Mexican Mozzarella. I highly recommend pairing a quesadilla with your tacos. You can order it from any line. I've been going to Tacos El Gordo for almost 25 years now and it is still legit! The tacos were around $4 which is pretty average but I thought their tacos were a bit bigger than average and had a good amount of meat. I usually can do two bites at other taco places but I have to take three bites here lol. The cabeza tacos were so tender and the carne asada tacos had a nice smoking taste to them. I also like how they came with a good amount of guac and you can also get a side or extra guac if you want more which was very nice of them. The plain quesadillas are simple but something about it was taste soo good, might be the cheese that they use and their handmade tortilla. I'm not too fan of their ordering system as there are around 5-7 different lines depending on what item/meat you want. If you want carne asada, you have to line up and then you have to line up at another line if you want another type of meat. Some lines are longer than others so I feel like my food gets cold by the time I get my second order and then I have to line up to pay. Both times I came, I came around 10-11pm and they ran out of the green sauce. They have a parking lot in the back so I prefer this location than the one at gaslamp.
