In fact there are at least five or six other small restaurants on the same street. I bought just a single Danish that had some type of pineapple filling. There were so many more like strawberry and orange that were equally tempting. I already knew I wasn't going to go for some heavy chocolate pastry or even a concha for that matter. The cookie is on the dense, crunchier side, which is perfectly paired with tea or coffee. By the sight of the brown paper bag it was carried in, they definitely put in a lot of butter. They also sell a limited amount of regular pastries to take home, but I figured it was a little late in the evening to think about getting these for the house. Another thing to note that this panadería isn't set-up as a cafe so there are no real seating options.

I have had conchas a thousand times before, but this one actually had a filling, and it was quite delicious. The service here this morning was a little dissappointing. There were two young employees, male and female, working behind the counter and neither of them seemed interested in helping me. The female was glued to her cellphone, and the male didn't want to move at all. I had to ask him three times if he could come over and help me. I realize that they are both young, but I would think that this place would be better served with more motivated employees, who actually care about helping customers.
