Solid convenience store with good lighting if you need to stop somewhere at night for fuel, goodies or a restroom. They do ask that if you are using the restroom you are a customer. I was getting gas and asked for the code to use the restroom and the associate quickly gave it to me. The restroom was nice and clean. The gas was not overpriced and it was an easy stop on the way home from Savannah. read more

I have been going to the "Chu's" from many years. In fact, I was formerly a resident of Bryan County. Today, was a unique situation whereas my "fuel cards" for my company were declining. Interestingly, I could not figure it out. While I was at the store today, I encountered "Tia" who has been a someone over the years I would encounter when I visited the store not only for gas but other items. Today, a different than any other visit. When my cards were declining, "Tia's" true definition of goodness and greatness shine so bright. Her words of comfort, and how she responded, not only made the situation more pleasant but made the situation better. I later learn that my fuel cards was a resolvable matter but most importantly how "Tia" treats people is so over the top even at bad times. She has always, been that genuine person that you want to encounter when you first walk into a store. The warmth welcoming and genuineness from a person that cares. Thought it was a good choice until I got a fraud alert from my credit company that they charged $1.00 on my card... My experience started out strange but I'm a trusting person - the pump wouldn't except my card at the pump before verification and I got the message on the pump "see cashier" - ugh I don't have time for this S#!T I got inside behind a few locals sipping coffee appearing to be in a socially distance line but of course they weren't so with that behind me I stepped up to the counter to address the attendant oh she was much too familiar with the drill and let out her "how much gas do you want honey". Ummm I want to fill up ummm thirty dollars I guess "ok you'll only be charged what you pump" ohhhh boy. Well the actually charge on my statement was $25.58, exactly what I pumped. I may have been too quick to jump to judgement but I have my reasons - I've had enough fraudulent charges in my life of business travel to finance a small country e.g. someone attempted to purchase a $5,700 Louis Vuitton purse on my card recently but it was declined since the purchase didn't fit my profile (I prefer Michael Kor). So admittedly I was ready to pounce on these guys but I'm not reactive by nature so I chilled before writing this review even though they need to fix the credit card swipe at the pump and mop under the urinal more frequently it turned out okay... read more

BUYER BEWARE!!! They will put a $100 hold on your debit card for $20 worth of freaking gas!!! We were told the charge notice was printed right on the gas tank but IT WASN'T!!! Then you'll have to wait up to 48 hours to get the hold released from your bank. This absolutely sucks if you are OUT OF TOWN on a tight budget! NEVER will we ever stop here again!!! read more

I don't typically do this type of stuff, but with all the negativity that is being spread throughout the world who wouldn't want a little positivity?.?... I stopped in to grab some gas after a long and very stressful day in Savannah. So I set my pump and go inside to grab something to drink. Once I walked in the door I was immediately greeted with a Welcome to Chus from a friendly cashier from behind the register. I grab my drink and a candy bar and head to check out the young lady who I learned very quickly was Lauren asked about my day and offered some kind words as we parted ways. She single handedly made my afternoon just by simply speaking and showing concern! If the work had a few more ppl like her it would make a world of difference! Average gas station with a littered parking lot, slightly higher than average prices and digital gambling machines inside. The bathrooms were dirty for first thing in the morning. I'll pass next time. read more
