I am not going to get all the way home tonight so I might as well make the best of it with a nice stop here along I-95 for dinner and drinks. After a taste of the "Spicy Garlic Pickle" that does not lie about its name and was not agreeable to my palette, I got a full pour of the Mjolinirwizen, a hefeweizen that had a medium taste of cloves and banana with a touch of lemon. This is what a hefeweizen should taste like and it was enjoyable. I then stepped outside and ordered a pizza from their partner food truck before continuing with a second beer, the Back Room Blonde. A tasty blonde ale, it well with the pizza. Sitting at a table for three hours and writing Yelp reviews was pleasant. There's a definite family vibe here with a few folks feeing their kids takeout from elsewhere. And the bartender was friendly. The background music wasn't too loud and it was a comfortable space. I liked this place well enough but I don't know that I would recommend it for any reason. Hear me out: Located close to the highway so it's easy to get to, this brewery is inside an old warehouse space. It's an open air, large space with long tables that encourages meeting new people, but there isn't any great environment for sitting outside. The staff is super friendly and eager to serve. tThe bartender was friendly and made suggestions about the beers I tasted. When she figured out I was a newbie she immediately poured me a sample of their "specialty" (read: weird) beer, a spicy garlic pickle brew. I'm gonna just recommend that you steer clear of this concoction. There is also a full bar here, so if you don't like beer you can find something you like. The beer was okay, nothing stood out against the rest, and the farmhouse ale (Berzerker Viking Sahti) was good but didn't have any bold flavors that I would expect from either a saison or a more wild ale (I'm not sure which it was trying to be). They also offer mead, but it appears that it is locally sourced but not produced here. There is a loft above the bar with extra seating. While I was there there was a bunch of older gents practicing acoustic guitar upstairs, which did fill the space with warm comforting yacht rock sounds. It's good. Decent. Serviceable. Other than the pickle beer there wasn't anything wrong here. I just don't know if there was anything about this place that I would come back for or recommend to friends. read more

The brewery makes fantastic beers and the ambiance and charm make this a must go. Located off the beaten path, but well worth the journey

Just 15mins up the road, I saw a sign for Debellation Brewing, and anything that is Nordic Viking themed and serves beer is worth further inspection. Also not a far detour, this brewery is in a very unassuming industrial park, but the minute you walk in, you definitely feel a bit transported...especially when viewing the wall behind the bar lined with Viking skull mugs (come to find out those are the mugs if the original public investors in the brewery; and honestly if your mug club doesn't consist of a legion of Viking Skull mugs, what are you even doing?). The flight board here was unique, as well; gorgeously laser cut wood. The beers were also distinctive and reflective of the brewery's vibe. It was a fun stop and I enjoyed everything I tried here. read more

Very cool place. We stayed in back with our 43 ft Coach as a Harvest Host guest. Dave, the owner, knows how to pack them in. Plenty of room. Busy Saturday with Latin Nights & Taco Food Truck.!!! The service was great, our beer tender was super helpful and knowledgeable about the beer. Ambiance was nice with a lot of seating inside and the outdoor area was adequate to hang out if we need. Conceptually this is a great idea. They are located in a warehouse setting next to the I-95 exit for easy access. They are located on an industrial road which makes it feel like a hidden gem. They have ample space for customers to hang and even provide games such as ping-pong, darts and a selection of board games. However, the execution is not perfected in my opinion. - Beer wasn't good. Sampled 6 of their 8 beers currently on tap. I couldn't get myself to order a full pint of any of them. - Mugs for the mug club are scary. They look like demonic skulls. - Head brewer/owner is not known for being overly personable. Other breweries in Savannah have very friendly owners that engage their customers. ROTATING BEERS They have a rotating beer list. It is nice to know you can have variety of different beers when you come next time. A Dill Pickle Beer is on deck for release. I don't know if I should be afraid or curious. I might come back just to see what this is when it taps. I live the creativity. read more

Found this place when traveling to Central Florida. We look for easy access Harvest Hosts to stay in our travel trailer. What a great find with a casual vibe, knowledgeable and friendly staff that know how to welcome outsiders. The locals were also welcoming and helpful when deciding what to order. We enjoyed several mjoinirweizen hefe, imperial mint chocolate stout, and a hard cedar. What a great selection! Our skiddish rescue pup was "top dog". She didn't want to leave. The Bunker Food Truck was outside with providing many yummy choices. We ordered the smash burger and the special of the day a buffalo chicken sandwich with a side of zucchini fries. Such a cool small brewery atmosphere. The bartender Lee was fucking awesome and made us feel right at home. Their beers are varied and they aren't afraid to try some weird stuff....which I'm all about. We got their spicy garlic pickle beer as one of our firsts and it was AMAZINGGGGG. I love pickles to begin with (that's what she said) but the garlic was *chef's kiss* and the spice factor was probably one of the best executions I've had in awhile. It was a subtle sneaky spiciness on the back end of the beer that packed some heat but wasn't overpowering. Honestly, I wish we lived closer, we'd be here all the time. We were on our way home to Charleston from FL and always like to try new breweries we've never been to before, so we found this on Yelp and stopped in. I'm not going to lie, I picked it solely because I saw they had a Spicy Garlic Pickle beer and I really wanted to try it. Let me tell you it did not disappoint! I love different flavored beers and this really hit the spot. My boyfriend got a flight so I was able to try a couple of the other beers as well and liked all of those too. The beertender was super nice and I totally dig their Viking theme. They also have a food truck on premise that sound delicious, but we didn't stay for food. Idk what the deal is with Chris's review. Clearly the pic of the mugs are on Yelp and as a frequently yelper saw the pics before he came. Yet a grown man (possibly stick in a 2y-o body) found the mugs "scary!" The mugs are actually pretty bad-a$$! Also found the owner to be very nice and personable and even though they were busy had time for brief conversations. Perhaps he could detect Chris's douchey-ness and just avoided him. Saw the sign on the Highway and decided to take a break. Good brewery vibe. Owner I'd knowledgeable and had big dreams for the place (axe throwing, events, live music). It's been open since April 2021. Brews are a work in progress similar to most breweries when they first open. He already has a few local regulars. There's games for kids and adults and I have no doubt that the longer they're open the better and more popular they will become. Give him a shout from the Central Florida couple! read more

Discovered this brewery on a happenstance. Searching for breweries in Savannah, I come across this weirdly named place in Richmond Hill. I decide to go, with my son and his wife in tow, to seek this place - located out of the way, but well worth the trip. It's a new establishment, a very nice 12-tap offering they are soon planning to double and with some of the most unique and weird (as the name of the place) beer offerings I have ever come across. A pickle beer, a "fish boil" beer, and others. Surprisingly, they were all good. The vibe was light on an off-night, but you could tell this place had it's locals that support it well. It was nice to have something local to where my son lives, that is this good, without having to schlep all the way to Savannah. I really wish these folks the best of luck. (Now, about their weird name - it turns out it's rooted in Scandinavian - Viking maybe? - and it means invasion.) Skal! read more

Great place. Fun events including live music and trivia contests. Dog friendly. Awesome food trucks. Def has great fried pickles and chicken strips and fish tacos. And a really nice chef/owner. (Hint: Learn to sign "hello", "thank you", and "delicious" and brighten someone's day.) Friendly bartender and owner. Scandinavian Viking folks. Check out the beautiful murals, wall art and mug collection. Military and First Responders get treated like royalty, which is as it should be. Bring a patch for their wall. RV friendly! Awesome place with a great atmosphere and tasty beer. I got to try several different types and all were very tasty (they even have some I retesting flavors on tap). I will say the beer was good. I had the IPA. The atmosphere wasn't great. There was no AC and the staff and patrons seemed very cliquey. We didn't feel welcome at all. We're big beer drinkers and used to family friendly breweries (we're from the Durham NC area), but I don't think we'll be back. Besides for a unique Spicy Garlic Pickle Beer that one customer transformed into a bbq sauce, they offer an assortment of craft beer that changes taps on a regular basis. You can find witbier, pale ale and stouts as well as other choices . I loved the hand carved tap handles designed and carved by the owner/brewers wife, the window frames with carved norsemen and the unusual log bar. Really poor beers. They need to work on them to bring them up to par to the many good Breweries in the region. service was a bit odd but place wasn't crowded so I don't know what was up. Food is charged separately and they only brought a bill for the beer, not food. Had to go up to the bar to ask to pay it. I like the idea of tying it to the local military community, but those folks deserve way better beer! read more

What a wonderful host! We stopped here on a rv trip from South Florida to North Carolina. The Brewery itself is great! The beer was amazing, we played fun games and there's even a ping pong table. Came out for St Pats and as advertised they showed 5 food trucks. Really wanted a lobster roll from one of those vendors. Very sad as the only have 2 of the advertised trucks. Very disappointing!!!!! read more
