Great mexican food and a decent tequila bar. They kept the menu from previous Diablo's business,…read moreso the food is still on-point! The 'Tamale Bites' appetizer is still our favorite, and this time we just ate the 'Seafood Nachos' as our entree - it was delicious! My Mojito was above average; probably the best I've had in several months. Other drinks were also good. Service was friendly and prompt, but to be fair - we were the only patrons at the time of our Sunday visit. The biggest negative is the decor. When this was Diablos (a couple of months ago), it had the coolest upscale interior in town. They had fantastic Dia del Muerto artwork on the walls, in a dimly lit and romantic tequila-bar interior. NO MORE. The good art is gone, the lights are brighter than an airport runway, and the bright gaudy colors and cheap tacky decor scream 'Mexican Bizarre' or bordertown tourist trap. The vibe is terrible and the romance is gone; do not expect atmosphere! Uggh. This knocked them down to barely 4 stars, and almost all the way to 3 stars.

My husband and I tried this restaurant for date night, and we have never been here before. As we…read morewalked through to our table, I saw other empty tables awaiting to be cleaned with their plates still full of food. I then became very leery about trying the food. I got a text from my friend after we placed the order to try a different restaurant because this one isn't good. I'm glad I didn't listen. Inside was nice and clean, and our server was friendly and helpful. My husband wasn't that hungry so I ordered the Molcajete which our server said could feed two people. He was wrong, it was enough food to feed four. It came with the rice and beans and some tortilla shells. We also got a bowl of cheese dip. My husband ordered a coronarita as well. The food was flavorful, and made fresh. It was still hot when I got it which I appreciate because at some restaurants you may wait for your food and get it and it's not hot at all. He and I both ate and we still had food to box up which may be why when I walked in initially plates were still full of food. They got a sizeable portion. The cheese dip was good, a little on the runny side. Their chips were very good, with just enough salt. I tasted my husbands margarita and it had a nice amount of alcohol as well but it wasn't that strong. We would try this place again. It was very good.

Tried to have lunch at Chilis here in Conway,AR. (9/15/26) They are currently under construction…read moreand the parking is crazy. I came in and asked for a booth for myself and the host informed me the bar was open seating. I walked to the first booth and seen white crumbs on the seat so I walked to the next one, that also had white crumbs over it. At this point I decided to take a few napkins from the bar to clean the seat myself. The server comes and I ask if they still had the lunch special and before I could ask for the burger I was cut off and told they don't have a lunch menu. I was confused as to why she cut me off so quickly as if Chili's never had a lunch menu and I informed her I thought it was rude. I ordered my meal and asked for no tomatoes. I go to the restroom and every worker is looking at me, I can already tell she has went and complained on me. I come back to my seat and see a salad of course with tomatoes. I tried to pick them off but I seen my server and told her instead. My new salad comes and I proceed to grab salt and pepper and notice none on the table. I again get my severs attention and ask for the condiments and she lets me know she will tell my sever of my needs. In other words letting me know she is no longer my sever and don't ask her again for anything else, which is how I the costumer took it. I doubt this establishment nor the staff cares how I feel since I am a black female here in the south I see and feel this often. My new server then comes by and says she will be with me shortly and I ask for the salt and pepper. She comes back still with no condiments asking me what I need, and instead of asking for my needs a third time I request the manager. The manager comes and seems to want to listen, she even sits down, but at this point the more I thought about my experience I no longer wanted to stay. I see the BOH manager standing looking from afar as if I'm such a huge threat, other white staff members peeking and observing but where was all this staff when I asked for salt and peeper? Why did I not get informed of the server change and the reason? I get up and walk towards the door and decide to snap a few pics of the staff to include in my review and then several staff members start walking towards me which upset me more, because again where was all this staff when I needed salt and pepper? And why are they confronting me as I'm leaving? Another server starts to walk up to me and opens her mouth and I quickly let her know don't say shit to me. I will never return. The staff is rude and unprofessional.
