Great mexican food and a decent tequila bar. They kept the menu from previous Diablo's business,…read moreso the food is still on-point! The 'Tamale Bites' appetizer is still our favorite, and this time we just ate the 'Seafood Nachos' as our entree - it was delicious! My Mojito was above average; probably the best I've had in several months. Other drinks were also good. Service was friendly and prompt, but to be fair - we were the only patrons at the time of our Sunday visit. The biggest negative is the decor. When this was Diablos (a couple of months ago), it had the coolest upscale interior in town. They had fantastic Dia del Muerto artwork on the walls, in a dimly lit and romantic tequila-bar interior. NO MORE. The good art is gone, the lights are brighter than an airport runway, and the bright gaudy colors and cheap tacky decor scream 'Mexican Bizarre' or bordertown tourist trap. The vibe is terrible and the romance is gone; do not expect atmosphere! Uggh. This knocked them down to barely 4 stars, and almost all the way to 3 stars.

My husband and I tried this restaurant for date night, and we have never been here before. As we…read morewalked through to our table, I saw other empty tables awaiting to be cleaned with their plates still full of food. I then became very leery about trying the food. I got a text from my friend after we placed the order to try a different restaurant because this one isn't good. I'm glad I didn't listen. Inside was nice and clean, and our server was friendly and helpful. My husband wasn't that hungry so I ordered the Molcajete which our server said could feed two people. He was wrong, it was enough food to feed four. It came with the rice and beans and some tortilla shells. We also got a bowl of cheese dip. My husband ordered a coronarita as well. The food was flavorful, and made fresh. It was still hot when I got it which I appreciate because at some restaurants you may wait for your food and get it and it's not hot at all. He and I both ate and we still had food to box up which may be why when I walked in initially plates were still full of food. They got a sizeable portion. The cheese dip was good, a little on the runny side. Their chips were very good, with just enough salt. I tasted my husbands margarita and it had a nice amount of alcohol as well but it wasn't that strong. We would try this place again. It was very good.
