Very disappointing experience. I had to cancel after 2 weeks. The gym was very clicky. If you are interested in their circuit training, I would suggest looking for another gym. It is a very frustrating workout and I was never able to complete the circuit without people parking on machines. People are very unfriendly as well as the staff. I tried to get help from Danny the lead and also the assistant general manager Katie. Neither of them were interested in helping. I would highly recommend looking for a more helpful gym and a gym willing to help you enjoy your workout instead of begging people not to hang out on circuit equipment. read more

"Unlimited child" care is false advertising and misleading. While I understand that there needs to be capacity, why not reserve child care for your child for a certain amount of time? Instead my wife and I got our kid ready, drove to the gym, only to tell us that we have to wait 25 minutes. The clerk clearly doesn't have a 1 year old child and doesn't understand that that is a long time for them. The kids club is clearly not managed properly and neither is the gym. Better systems need to be put in place. If you are a family looking for a place to workout and have your kids attend. I would highly suggest going elsewhere. read more

Some of the staff are very rude. They don't treat Seniors very good. The women's showers are filthy. They are not keeping up with cleanliness. Why are Seniors charged the regular price for premium membership when they have silver sneakers? No other gym or rec center charges. You need to get your stuff together and treat Seniors better! read more

They forgot to take my daughter's temperature several times in their kid's "daycare" at the gym. My daughter was 14 months old at the time and I ended up having to take her to the emergency room because they failed to record children's temperatures multiple times because it caused my daughter to become violently ill. read more

Looks Decent I stopped by here to pick up a packet for a 5K race. Chuze looks like a pretty decent workout facility. It's not hoity-toity, nor is it ghetto fabulous. It's jussssst right. I went online to research it a bit. Looks like the cheapest membership will run you $9.99 per month. I really liked this gym. I was able to use it while visiting the area. It has everything that one could need in a gym. It was clean and bright. There were wipes available to clean off equipment and I was happy to see that people actually use them. All of the equipment was in place, in working order and organized. There was something for everyone regardless of fitness level. I don't live here, but if I did, for all that's offered at the low price of membership, I would definitely be a member here. read more

This place is decent for a spot out in the country. But they overhandled the crazy masks mandates and their equipment is slack big time. The sauna feels room temperature. Some of the equipment is out, "for social distancing." they closed certain rooms and some of the staff are a bit stuck up it's a hit or miss with some staffers And it is bad for customer service. Pretentious "greetings" don't suffice. * They have Air Conditioning and huge fans blasting so getting a cold sweat is possible and getting sick is also possible considering the outdoors are 70 and up. It's so cold that some staff wears sweaters ‍ counterproductive. read more

I've been a member here for almost three years and have always had a wonderful experience. The staff is extremely friendly and the gym is always clean. I'd have to guess that it is even cleaner now with everybody constantly wiping the equipment down with the readily available sanitizing wipes. I appreciate the staff keeping an eye on members to ensure they are wearing their masks. Emily Anne runs a tight ship and I admire her professionalism and attention to detail. Ian never misses an opportunity to greet a member and throw out a compliment. Paige covers a lot of ground, I never see her stop...another great employee. And Lexi! What a wonderful ambassador for Chuze Fitness. She makes everybody feel welcome. I could go on and on about the others. I have worked out in gyms all over the country and numerous others in other countries. Chuze is a hard act to beat. Overall, a great gym, especially for the price. read more

So this is the email I got from the company Cancelling your Chuze Membership I understand your frustrations. If you can send us screenshots of you being charged more than once in a month we will definitely be able to refund it or put it towards your cancellation fee. Unfortunately, on our end it isnt showing us those double charges. There isnt a way for any of us here to cancel your membership without collecting that fee prior to cancelling. Let me know how you would like to proceed. So I sent them my statements and then all of a sudden I got this I have received your screenshot. Thank you. I will send this over to our billing partner so they can troubleshoot and assess what is going on. In the meantime though just know that regardless there will still be a cancellation fee of $50 and we will have to collect the payment from 11/3 that wasnt able to withdraw before we are actually able to cancel the membership. I have been a member for about 8 years and enjoy the cleaniness of the equipment and the friendliness of the staff. Since Covid I have been to the gym infrequently. I want to return to my regular 3-day a week routine, but despite a mask mandate in Jefferson County, Colorado, about 30% of gym members are not wearing masks. The staff is unable to enforce it. I suggest freezing the memberships of those who refuse to wear masks. I go to the gym to improve my health, not to risk my life. read more

A couple small gripes here after having two membership for the last two years. They keep the warehouse fan running at nearly full speed in the back where you sprint/mat stretch. Effectively spreading the Rona everywhere. The sanitizing wipe bin in this same area are typically empty, so folks just skips the wipe down process for the mats,weights, and kettlebells. Dont allow your credit card to expire they'll catch you slipping with repeated late fees, but rest assured they wont tell you when scanning your bar code daily till the second week worth of late fees. I love this place so much. The staff is so friendly, and the layout of the gym is superb. I've been to other Chuze gyms in the area and none of the layouts compare to this one. The "turf" area is far off in the back corner away from prying eyes, unlike some other locations where it's right when you walk in the door. It definitely gets crowded in there at certain times but other times it's empty... it's the case with any gym-- especially one that caters to all fitness levels and skills. Anyone is welcome and it's easy to feel comfortable in this gym! Also the saunas and steam room are AMAZING! They get 5 stars from me. Oh AND they're always very clean!! read more

I've been a member here since Spring of 2018. I'd been looking for a place to workout consistently and finally decided to jump in with both feet. I'm just a regular dude looking to improve my health and not a serious bodybuilder. So, I opted to go with the $10 a month plan since I simply wanted a place to workout without any bells and whistles. So far, I've been very pleased. The gym is just the right size - not too small so it's awkward and not too big so you get lost. There's a lot of weights and machines to use. The staff is always friendly and are constantly cleaning the place. The music they play is a good variety and is set at a good volume. The temperature is fine and there are several TVs showing various channels. The small lockers near the front are super handy to throw in my keys, wallet, and phone. Half way through the summer, they added more bench presses, dumbbells, and EZ bars. I'm not sure if this was the original plan or they responded to people's request for these items. Either way, I like it. I really can't think of anything to complain about. I haven't used the tanning beds, pool, or fitness classes so I can't comment on those. If I'm being really picky, I've noticed a couple of the cables (on the cable machines) and padded benches are starting to show some wear and need to be replaced. Overall, I'm really pleased with this gym and recommend it to anyone looking to lift and/or get some cardio. read more

Extremely upset with how the managers are handling this pandemic!!! Not only have I been charged 100$ since they reopened (4 different charges) but after calling and explaining I work with high risk patients and am physically not allowed to return to a gym at this time and personally do not think it is safe to reopen they are not willing to work with me. I signed to cancel my account without being notified I would be charged 50$ and that I need to call YET AGAIN to give them more money (is this a joke?) I finally had a day off to call and after seeing yet another 22$ charge THEY WONT REFUND ANYTHING. The "best she can do is credit the 22$ to my next membership IF and when I sign up NEXT YEAR." This is absolutely ridiculous! There is nothing worse than a corporate company charging you left and right and refusing to refund anything DURING A PANDEMIC. read more

I was a long time customer of this place and one of the first 100 people to sign up when they first opened. Always loved there customer service and recommended to everyone....when I had to move away for sometime and wasn't able to come here due to distance and the fact that they didnt have a gym in my area they refused to work with me. I was advised to call customer service and was told that I would released ov my contract and that I had nothing to worry about.... I thought this was awesome.... I moved back to the are were I was excited to start my membership only to be told that it would cost me 400.00 to get it current and then bby would start a new co tract with them...I went over what happened only to be told to bad l, Im Sorry we can't do anything for you and that basically I'm S.O.L.....I even offered to pay the 50.00 cxl fee to start over but want going to pay for the services that I was told that I didnt have to pay. I was very disappointed in the amount of respect and lack of willingness to help....I will never recommend this place and never come back. Overall this is a great gym. But 3 times I have brought this equipment to staff telling them it is about to break and could cause injury if not replaced. They agreed, but each time it has ended up back on the floor by the cable racks. This needs to be replaced and I hope this review helps. This is by far the best gym I've ever joined. It's clean, roomy, and friendly. Can not believe how clean this gym is...the bathrooms, pool, weight area, cardio...it's all being cleaned by some personal all the time. I love it! I very have to wait for equipment because things a very rarely broken or out of order and they have multiple sets of weights. I live the fitness cinema, makes cardio so much easier! Chuze apparently reopened and charged me twice within a few days. I called and told them I had no communication on the reopening (if I had I would have called to cancel- the gym won't be my go to with Covid, it's not safe for me). The front desk told me they "sent a plethora of emails".. I haven't received a one since March 18th. She also said someone would call me back- These are crazy times, and people are struggling. I showed them proof I did not get any notification and they refuse to refund me or show me proof. I'm very disappointed in their response. What they charged me with no notification is a lot of money in these hard times. read more

I'm a disabled Marine veteran of 8 years and was harassed by Nicole had my membership froze because of my doctors very specific order not to wear a mask due to my breathing related disability. Glad the government could step up at least. ---- I have been a member of Chuze for a year or two. Normally I would have given them a 4 or 5 star rating. They provide excellent value for what the monthly rate is. However... their post COVID response has been totally underwhelming. I went to the facility for the first time since COVID hit (today) and literally no one except for the staff and me were wearing masks. I go to my Walmart and 90% of the customers are wearing masks. I have frozen my membership and am strongly considering cancelling due to Chuze leadership team not mandating masks here. A gym is exactly the type of place where masks should be worn at all times. Everyone is breathing heavily and sharing touched surfaces constantly. All of the voluntary hand sanitizer use and wipes are a good start but it's not enoug Chuze management! Respectfully, get it together and set a culture of health and safety that you do for positive fitness vibes! You can do better than the government's lackluster guidelines and response. read more

Lots of great machines here, with a good choice from upper to lower body, with plenty of good cardio as well. Staff was nice, but the clientele not so much. Accidentally walked past a guy while he was sitting at a bench (???) and he had a tantrum, cursing me out and telling me to get out. Essentially the epitome of gym bro bullshit gatekeeping, total asshole. Seemed very a-kin to roid rage, will not be returning because of it. Ended up spending the rest of my time trying to dodge him. Maybe being slightly more selective of clientele would've fixed this issue, as I feel that I'm relatively courteous at the gym and did nothing to deserve it. read more

Absolutely love this gym. The staff is always very friendly, the facilities are very clean, and you can't beat the price. I adore their classes. The Zumba classes with Lurlean are hands down the best Zumba classes I have ever taken. And their yoga classes are by far the best yoga classes I've taken outside of yoga studios. It's a gym.....nothing fancy. But management staff is always grumpy and not nice at all. I have the platinum membership and sometimes when I bring a friend in it's an issue. If your membership allows something that you $$pay$$ for it should not be an issue or a chore to get but it is and when it is the normal staff helps out great but the managers belittle the staff and some guests. read more

This is a GREAT place to work out, clean location, friendly staff, 5 star, my issue is with the agreement to use the facility. I am only a few months out of complete ankle reconstruction and Achilles' tendon severed, rebuilt, 2 inch lengthening, and 7 months in casting. I was VERY specific and clear I am recovering from a 28 year injury, this is my first gym membership ever, and I am not sure if this is a right fit, but I want to try. Two staff members were very understanding and fed me bs I was on a month to month, no cancellation fees, no annual fees, this was being treated as a very low level monthly agreement with full access to the gym. Sign sign sign, I am going to the gym 4x a week. YAY!! I really enjoyed the gym, to feel normal is such a boost, but unfortunately I pushed too hard too soon, I gave it a rest and paid my monthly fees without going for a couple months. The doc said I need to slow my role, I need at like 16-24 months recovery and maybe I can try again down the road. I went back to Chuze to stop the billing and apologize, say thank you, etc etc. Oh no ... I am on the most premium package, auto-renews yearly, annual fees on top of my monthly fees, and my only option is freeze my membership from billing until the renewal date. If I get released back to work out 1 day before the renewal date, I can't stop the auto-renewal, l am locked in to auto-renews year after year with monthly and annual fees. What the fahhhhhhh?!?! She was extremely nice, but holy crap! Getting a letter from my doctors is no problem, but as amazing as this place is, this is really shocking! I really wish I could stay, I've battled the injury for almost 3 decades and I just need more rest. I'll be fighting my way out of this gym in my downtime. I am sure it isn't over yet, she made sure to tell me the letter MUST come from the doctor, not a nurse, not the secretary, it must be signed by a physician. No problem, but what a CF. Maybe this is a common thing, my basis is covered, but I wanted to spread the word. Be careful out there friends. If someone is super friendly and telling you what you want to hear, chances are they were just sniffing glue, and signed you up for the MAXIMUM! You've been notified read more
