I've trained in the US and in Canada, and Robyn has them all beat. To start, she sat and talked with me about my goals and my injuries, and I could tell from the beginning that she had a deep understanding of what I wanted to get out of our sessions. After an initial assessment, the training began, and she consistently pushed me outside my comfort zone but within my ability range. Anyone who deals with injuries knows that pushing too far too fast only results in damage and more time recuperating, and Robyn helped me find that perfect balance. Not once during our sessions did I find myself regretting pushing so hard, and I knew that she had her eye on my form, making sure that I did everything perfectly. She is a professional and takes her work seriously, and it shows. Not only did she work with me on a weekly basis, but she provided a written description of the exercises we had completed and how I should continue with them in our "off" time. If you've ever worked with another trainer, you'll know that is not standard! Long story short, I began struggling on V1s and finished, 8 sessions later, projecting on V6s with no sign of injury. Okay so... This will sound ridiculously unbelievable, but it is 100% true. I had a lower back…read moreissue that caused a stinger on the left side of my back with a full speed driver swing and constant pain in the lower right side of my back. I had numerous appointments with my sports medicine Doctor who is the head of the Centura Sports Medicine team and a physio. I also saw a chiropractor and got several massages. I had numerous x-rays. They ordered an MRI, BUT... On the very 1st session with Alyssa Magalong, she fixed my lower back during the 10 minute recovery portion after our training session by using a theragun percussion massage on my upper right glute. It was fixed. It has been fixed for over a month without any problems. I am just amazed. It has to sound fake, but it's not. She fixed it in a few minutes. So beyond that, Alyssa also happens to be a beauty pageant winner and is super down to earth, friendly, and charismatic. I had no idea about the beauty pageant stuff until I saw it on a description of her background on the wall with staff photos and background info, so she doesn't sit there and tell you how cool she is... She asks you about you and is genuinely interested in what you have to say. She listens. She will also kick your butt with training. I am super impressed, and would highly recommend her to anyone seeking a very talented personal trainer. A+++ and Thumbs up for Alyssa. I am honored that she has been my trainer. I feel lucky to have found her. Hopefully others can benefit from my experience. She is the best.

The choice to have hand dryers that blow air rather than supply paper towels is nasty. Hand dryers suck in air and the particles floating around in it then blast all that back out. A 2018 U of Connecticut/Quinnipiac study found that bathroom hand dryers blow a mix of bacteria including FECAL matter - that's poop - back onto freshly washed hands. Equipment - 1 star. This place is always packed to the gills because it's tiny. Equipment is limited and I don't even attempt a full workout anymore because I don't want to be waiting around all night to get to the weights/machines/space I need. Value - 1 star.
