So I stopped doing Botox and switched to bangs for a few years. This year, though, I really saw how deep the creases were in my forehead so I went to my friend's provider in Phoenix in a panic. She didn't use Botox, something different, and it lasted not even eight weeks and she changed me $450. Again disappointment and frustration. So about a month ago I began my search locally on ChatGPT, Yelp and social media for an aesthetic provider in the Sacramento area close to my home. I was very impressed with Marjan's education and her reviews so I gave her a call. I was so pleased to actually speak with her directly and not a receptionist so I booked an appointment for last week. I was still pretty skeptical about whether I would like the results because she agreed that I only needed 28 units. After a week of waiting to see if this was enough units to soften my deep wrinkles, I'm SO pleased with a very smooth forehead again! I believe Marjan is fair and I love that she has that artist's touch, which is also necessary to get beautiful results. We booked a couple of days advance for my daughter and her friend, to celebrate her friend's 12th birthday. Went back and forth a few times over text message with them about making sure the girls could be together for the kids scalp treatment (it's for ages 8-14) and an on the go facial- each service 30 mins, one hour total for each girl. The girls were excited for the special occasion. The shop looks like it is still being set up and just opened recently. Kind of a pop up type vibe / ambiance. When we arrived we were greeted but the person didn't speak English and when I confirmed we were there for two facials and two kids scalp treatments per the appt, she looked at the girls and started saying things we couldn't understand. We used a translator on her phone to try to communicate, she was telling me the "babies" had too much hair and they couldn't wash "it" all out. My daughter has long thick curly hair and her friend has straight hair a few inches past her shoulders. No one had asked about length or texture or anything at the time of booking. We waited for another employee to come but she also couldn't communicate in English. I asked them via their translator about the facials we booked, thinking since they seemed to be saying they couldn't perform the scalp service since they could not wash the girls' hair out in thirty minutes. It was unclear if they didn't have time or wanted us to pay more money. This was their advertised service, we had planned on it... no disclaimers about long hair needing anything special in terms of cost or time, nothing about anything being put in that was difficult to wash out, I still have no idea what the issue was. I asked if they were trying to get me to pay more for a different service? They couldn't explain or answer anything well. They pointed at another package that cost twice what we had booked ($40 kids package, they wanted us to do the $80 package for both girls). The facials were additional obviously, but every time I asked about them they ignored me and continued saying they could not wash the kids hair. I was hoping we could just do facials and salvage the bday celebration. We couldn't have any conversation past that, even with the translator. I took time off work, and this was the last day before school starts that the girls were available to celebrate. None of that is Elodia's problem, they likely forgot that it was a special occasion but judging by the way they handled it, they probably wouldn't have cared. They need to make sure someone with the ability to communicate works there to help guests and they definitely need to update their pricing and information, if age is not the determining factor as they state, and length of hair is, they should tell people that up front instead of trying the bait and switch when customers arrive. We spent quite a while trying to communicate and when it was evident they could not and or would not be able to perform any of the four services we booked, and were just going to keep saying the same few words over and over (who knows if they would have also told me the girls faces were too big and would also cost extra for facials LOL)... we left. Anywhere who cared about customer service at all would have just performed the service they sold and let us know it took longer and might cost more next time. I would have tipped generously and appreciated them making the experience work, especially since it wasn't our fault they booked services they don't seem to have any clarity for. We were able to find another activity and the girls still had a great day but we will have to reschedule the spa experience and I would definitely urge against anyone going here until they figure things out. It's not a place I'd ever try again or recommend to anyone I like.

I had the "The Crystal Glow Experience" package just to get a taste of everything this spa has to offer. I was greeted by a very nice man at the front desk who was kind and answered any questions I had. He led me back to a private room where I got to relax and unwind in between treatments. The room had water and snacks, which is a huge bonus! I changed into a robe and slippers, and when my tub was ready I went in for a soak. You get to choose between scents. It was the perfect opportunity to just enjoy peace and quiet and solitude! I loved it! Then I went back to my room for a few minutes and had the chance to hydrate and have a snack. Then came the best part... Rebecca (who is soooo nice) guided me to a treatment room where I started with my scalp treatment. It was extremely relaxing, and I never wanted her to stop! I'd never had a scalp treatment before, but I definitely want to do them more regularly now! Then I had my facial. She asked a few questions about my skin, and was very informative when telling me exactly what she was doing. Finally, the body scrub which felt amazing! It was almost like getting a gentle massage, but then you have super soft skin afterwards! And there was a new client special, which was the cherry on top (although the prices are extremely fair to begin with)! I will definitely be back. I cannot stop thinking about this place!
