Sylvia came to our apartment a few weeks ago to see the lay of the land. She recommended going by an hourly rate rather than a flat price, because the flat price could change depending on what's encountered. She also emphasized to label boxes well like: master bedroom, kitchen, etc. so we went with hourly rate $165 per hour for three movers. There was an up-charge of $75 because they were also moving a gun safe. They arrived at 8:45am and took a quick tour of our apartment. They explained how they go about it. The movers are Luis, Josue and Juan. What a team. Luis is the leader. Amazingly, they were done in 2.75 hours. This is the furniture for a two bedroom, two bath, den, kitchen, living room , dining area and the balcony we're talking about. Plus all the accompanying boxes for each area. We had boxed up everything we could and labeled as Sylvia had requested. And gave them clear paths as best we could to the major pieces. We had a lot of boxes! We wholeheartedly recommend this company for your moving needs.

We hired him to move us from Boerne several months ago and the whole experience was a disaster! We had to move our things into storage units before we were able to move into our new home. We hired Boerne's Strongest Movers to pack our home into several storage units. He double booked us while "packing" the house, so he was not present as he said he would be. And his "crew" consisting of 2 well meaning but totally untrained and unprepared young ladies who succeeded in packing everything so poorly, the damage was unimaginable, broken pieces everywhere. Then his moving crew who could not legally drive the rented UHaul trucks and trailers that he rents (he does not own his own trucks), proceeded to throw our things into the trucks, then into the storage units in such a haphazard fashion, we had to undergo more breakage there. And that, on the things that made the trip, multiple items did not even show up at the new location, most notably 2 twin box spring foundations, kitchen knives, silverware, cutting boards, baking pans, children's outdoor play equipment, antique stand, and other personal items. So use him at your own risk! If you have anything of real value, it is in real danger!

They tried to keep my personal belongs and denied me access unless I paid. They wanted to charge hundreds of dollars so that their staff could access my personal files and bring them to me. After two weeks of trying, I had to enlist outside assistance and threaten legal consequences to finally get access. They took a file cabinet that was specifically singled out to leave for us with all manner of banking records, passports and other information and have seemingly "misplaced" that. If I have any identity theft occur on my credit I will instantly know where the problem was. Never, Ever, do business with these people. Then they delivered what we needed to our house. They arrived exactly on time and all of them worked very hard. All three were extremely kind and patient--we had to open several boxes to see what was inside since our previous movers did not label them properly. Our mover from Illinois recommended we try Little Guys Movers to help recycle the cardboard and paper. They were prompt, courteous, and helpful. On the day of the appointment that was confirmed. This establishment was a complete no-show and also after calling a few times to find out on time status to see if they were running late.
