He claims his marketing team told him about the review. He then said he would remove the charge if I removed the review. I reminded him he told me not to call him or the company any longer, but he calls me. He then became argumentative. I told him I already disputed the charge based on our conversation as depicted on the initial review. Then he threatened me now stating I was committing fraud. So first extortion and now fraud. He pretty much kept talking over me. He then started to try and use contractual language on me. Said he has the right to charge me $150 for disputing the charge. I told him he keeps talking over me and threatening me and I told him I consider this harassment now. He then hung up on me. The call was very uncomfortable and was more about his grievance and not mine. I have called my credit card company and made them aware. I made a mistake by signing the contract before they started. While I was signing, everything I signed when described to be by the mover employee seemed to be liability / damage items. I signed. Again, no time in and no time out I signed. They did not furnish that to me. Honestly, if he would have called me with a better tone, and maybe just said as a courteously, they will credit the money back, I would have reversed dispute and modified the review as a misunderstanding and they tried to make it right. But no, now he throws fraud at me like this is all my fault. Initial review: Buyer beware. Get a signed time in and signed timeout to protect yourself and what they charge. Cannot recommend this company. Read below for detail: I rated 2 stars to be fair because the setting things up was done well. They were recommended by the apartment complex I moved to. Details: - Called and set up a move. - They offered $149 for 1hr and $129 (Francis - kindly gave a coupon) total of $278. - They charged $300 which is what I was quoted via phone call when setting things up. - The appointment was set for 12pm. - Nice on every call before the move. - I dealt with Francis first and Andrew also. - Guys who moved were fast and good. - Actual move was done in no more than 1hr. - End of move I was given a receipt showing 1.98 hours. Not signed by me although it had a signature line not signed. - I called and spoke to Andrew about it and the hours are not accurate. He said he would look into it. - It showed as a pending charge of $177.29 on top of the $300 as described above. - Andrew never called me back and today it showed both transactions went through. - I called and spoke to Andrew again. - Started nice and when I told him that the guys were not there for over 1hr for the job they were hired to do as the unsigned receipt shows, I asked to refund that amount. - We both debated and he became stern and candid first. Then I reciprocated as I felt he was not going to cooperate with the extra $177.29 refund. - I told him that I dispute the hours and the charge. - We went back and forth. - I stated that he either needs to refund the disputed amount of $177.29 or I will have no other choice then to dispute it with my credit card company. - He said he would look at it again and see if he can make lower, but he will not refund the full amount. - I said unless it is the full extra $177.29, anything less than that is not acceptable as that would be them charging for more hours than the actual move from my rental truck to my apartment. - He then, in a very sarcastic way, told me I was bordering on extortion. - Then he told me I was on speaker phone and if I dispute it, he has GPS records. - The movers started to remove items and do the job they were paid for and were not doing that job for more than 1 hr. I know bcs I timed it from when they started to when the last item was moved in the apartment. - They did have to wait around for their office to sign them out and then I noticed the added time. - This was very frustrating and I felt I was being treated unfairly. When I emphasized this was not correct and if he does not refund the extra amount I will dispute the charge. - He then became threatening by saying be careful on what I say next. - I reiterated the above and the call ended with Andrew telling me to not call them again and I said I will dispute with my credit card company which I have never done before...this is the first time. - I agree to the $300, but I disputed the $177.29 as it was not a fair charge. - They had me sign docs before they started the work. They did not give me a signed time of start and end that I agreed on for confirmation. To summarize, they are nice before the move, but after, they add more hours than actually worked. GPS reports are irrelevant bcs they were there for labor only. They had me sign docs before they started the work. Lesson learned.

They took a file cabinet that was specifically singled out to leave for us with all manner of banking records, passports and other information and have seemingly "misplaced" that. Sylvia came to our apartment a few weeks ago to see the lay of the land. She recommended going by an hourly rate rather than a flat price, because the flat price could change depending on what's encountered. She also emphasized to label boxes well like: master bedroom, kitchen, etc. so we went with hourly rate $165 per hour for three movers. There was an up-charge of $75 because they were also moving a gun safe. They arrived at 8:45am and took a quick tour of our apartment. They explained how they go about it. The movers are Luis, Josue and Juan. What a team. Luis is the leader. Amazingly, they were done in 2.75 hours. This is the furniture for a two bedroom, two bath, den, kitchen, living room , dining area and the balcony we're talking about. Plus all the accompanying boxes for each area. We had boxed up everything we could and labeled as Sylvia had requested. And gave them clear paths as best we could to the major pieces. We had a lot of boxes! We wholeheartedly recommend this company for your moving needs.

On the day of the appointment that was confirmed. This establishment was a complete no-show and also after calling a few times to find out on time status to see if they were running late. I couldn't find my kitten and heard faint cries coming from inside the still-wrapped, unfinished couch. My kitten was trapped inside. I had to cut through the plastic and paper with scissors to free it. I have video of the incident. This is no longer just a delay--my pet was put in danger because the furniture was left unfinished for weeks. This is unacceptable and needs immediate attention.
