EM&L showed up with professionalism, understanding and worked with efficiency, Cecilia and crew completed loading our household with care and finesse. I admired how they communicated with each other, considered logistics of each item, and really listened to each other. They exemplify the art and science of furniture moving! I intentionally waited until we completed our unload to write my review, because we'd have the opportunity to compare two different crew's jobs. E M& L's work was the first offloaded from the truck, and not a single thing had shifted, there was no damage! By comparison, the first (other) crew had not loaded quite as proficiently, and while damage was minor - there were some scratches due to improperly padded furniture. DO NOT HIRE Daniel Borrego/Boerne's Strongest Movers. We absolutely do NOT recommend hiring these…read moremovers! We hired him to move us from Boerne several months ago and the whole experience was a disaster! We had to move our things into storage units before we were able to move into our new home. We hired Boerne's Strongest Movers to pack our home into several storage units. He double booked us while "packing" the house, so he was not present as he said he would be. And his "crew" consisting of 2 well meaning but totally untrained and unprepared young ladies who succeeded in packing everything so poorly, the damage was unimaginable, broken pieces everywhere. Then his moving crew who could not legally drive the rented UHaul trucks and trailers that he rents (he does not own his own trucks), proceeded to throw our things into the trucks, then into the storage units in such a haphazard fashion, we had to undergo more breakage there. And that, on the things that made the trip, multiple items did not even show up at the new location, most notably 2 twin box spring foundations, kitchen knives, silverware, cutting boards, baking pans, children's outdoor play equipment, antique stand, and other personal items. So use him at your own risk! If you have anything of real value, it is in real danger!
