The price was definitely amenable and we did not want to pass it up. We did have concerns about the service because of the price. The initial thought was, "would this be a waste of money". IT WAS NOT. EXPECTED. We went ahead and requested a "box" service for $45 each. This is a nail salon so, as expected, the green tea and lavender box service smelled wonderful. ABOVE & BEYOND. Chai. Ever heard of "Chai Tea Latte", shortly after consumption..you'll just feel comfort and warmth. CHAI gave me that exact feeling through my toes! He was very gentle and thorough with the scrubbing! I get the dip powder and it was very long lasting compared to other times I got the dip from other places. My daughter and I used to frequent this shop when we lived in StC within walking distance to Pamper Nails. They always did a good job with our mani/pedi's. It's rare that I get to spend enough time in StC to go get my nails done now that we've moved over 35m away. Today was the exception. I actually went to aNAILogy first, but the front desk person said it was at least a 35m wait for walk-ins and wanted me to make an appointment. I did for a week out, then drove a mile away to Pamper Nails who got me in for a nail dip immediately. I didn't get the woman's name who did my nails this time, but she's 25yo and is really friendly and great at manicures! I love color, so I got a different color on each nail. I also never got dipped nails before and I REALLY LOVE how they turned out! Went in to get a no chip full set and had the worst experience. My nail tech was a super rude guy who was very rough and yanked my hands around and slapped my fingers out of the way when he was doing my nails. He was very forceful with the tools, as if he was trying to hurt me. He cut my cuticle and did a poor job job painting my nails as well, as they are streaky. I asked for a new nail tech halfway through as I didnt feel comfortable with who I had but was completely ignored. I called the next day and talked to Charles the manager about how unhappy I was with my service and he scheduled me to come back that day and he fixed my acrylic and Leticia did my paint job. Leticia did amazing designs and was fast, friendly, and efficient. SUCH better service. Will only be going back because Charles did a great job aT fixing my issue and for Leticia's amazing painting skills. read more

I have been to this nail place many times before because it is 5 minutes from my house, I work a couple doors down, and they seat quickly. But unfortunately after all the time I've been going there (probably around 15 times) I have never once clicked with any of the employees. They aren't rude, but they usually don't try much to make conversation and are snappy when I point things out. Today I had a woman named Happy and she did a nice, clean job but wasn't very courteous, especially when I told her part of the acrylic was still stuck to my finger she just snapped "I know". Well alright. The polish selection also didn't really excite me. I was looking for a Barbie or even a bit more subdued pink but I only saw dark or light pinks, nothing fun. There was no weird silence that can happen when you go to a new salon . I immediately felt welcomed. I'm not as hot on this place as others have been. I stopped in last Friday for a shellac manicure. I got in right away, the color choices were plentiful, and the customer service was good. My manicure is alright. It's not perfect, the gel as some waves and dents in it, which I think defeats the purpose of the gel. It's only Monday, but it's holding up nicely, so that's great. The key here is that I would go back for a second chance. I liked it enough, and don't like other similar style places enough to try Pamper Nails again. Terrible experience for my 8yr old. I brought my daughter in with me for a mani. The lady sat down in front of her and grabbed her hands. Never said "hi", never smiled to acknowledge/greet her, didn't make eye contact with her or say a word to her at all. Didn't even speak to her to ask her to put her hands in front of the fan, just tapped her hands and pointed to the fan as she had an annoyed expression on her face (as she did the entire time). This was a white woman who spoke perfect English because I heard her speaking to someone else. This was supposed to be a nice outing and sadly it didn't turn out that way. I don't expect for anyone to do a song and dance to entertain her while she's there, but at least some acknowledgement is expected. I could tell my daughter was extremely uncomfortable. The ladies who did my mani and pedi were great though. There is much more I could share about the story, but this post is long enough. Bottom line, we will not be returning and I wouldn't recommend anyone I know to go there. read more

I haven't gotten my nails or toes done in a LONG time. With a new baby I've been cutting my nails down all the way so I don't scratch her. I came in and didn't have much to work with but left with nice nails and a nail file to help between getting them done. I also got a pedicure which was beyond amazing. This place is awesome. I've gotten used to finding gems in strip malls (I'm a Californian, after all) and everyone at Pamper Nails is so great. My nails always look perfect and I never feel rushed. The hot stone pedi is 100 percent worth the upcharge, and the selection of lotions and oils are pretty great (I've tried mint, orange and lavender to date). They have cute butterfly chairs for kids' pedis, so I often tote the 7YO along with me, and they're delightful with her. They even handle her requests with ease - a few months back, it was a jaguar print to go with her school mascot. They looked it up on Google and off they went - and they were perfect! Their no-chip is TRULY no-chip; the only time I've ever had even a slight nick was when I had a lovely incident with a razor and sliced my thumbnail. And that was my own fault, although when I mentioned it on my follow up appointment, they told me I should have come back and had it fixed! I'm sold. Don't be turned off by the nondescript strip mall surrounding the salon. They're terrific. They are also BUSY, so do yourself a favor and call for an appointment. And if you're bringing a child along for a pedi, tell them it's a child so they can place you on one of the end chairs next to the kid. (That is... if you WANT to.) One last but awesome thing: You can charge your tip! (This is SO rare.) I use my debit card for everything, so I do this - but IF you pay for your services in cash, you get (as of this writing) a 7 percent discount on everything. It was really enjoyable - clean place, cute decorations but not too over the top, friendly staff, and good prices so I decided to go back. I wanted to overlook it as I was ok with my nails but the unprofessionalism increased towards me, other clients, and the talk between the techs about other clients was AWFUL. I've been a customer at Pamper Nails for a few years now, and today was by far the most disappointing visit I have ever had. I went in for a shellac manicure for my prom that is tomorrow. I had a picture in mind for what I wanted my nails to look like, and I showed it to my artist (who's name was never given to me) at the beginning. I asked if he could do that, and he said it wouldn't be a problem. The goal was to achieve an ombré French Tip with a glitter design on my ring finger. The manicure itself was a disaster. I was constantly having to give my artist direction and corrections, and he wouldn't listen to what I wanted. Halfway through the manicure, he decided to tell me that he couldn't do my nails as pictured because it required an airbrush polish which Pamper Nails doesn't provide. Why he said he could do them as pictured, I'll never know since it was apparently impossible from the get go. The polish job was horrendous. It was so thick and chunky, it looked like my nails were malformed. The polish had bled over my nail beds and the sides so it was uncomfortable, and the design looked nothing like what I had asked for. It looked like I had on tacky press on nails, and I was incredibly unhappy. When it came time to pay, I tried to express my dissatisfaction to my nail artist in hopes of getting them fixed. He said it could not be done, and that I would just have to pay him. I asked to speak to the manager, and I was told I would have to pay in order to speak to them. I paid, without receiving my change or cash payment discount (I was told I would receive them after I spoke to the manager) and went to find the manager. I spoke to the manager hoping to resolve the problem because Pamper has been my place to go for so long. Unfortunately, the manager told me that I would not be receiving my money back, nor would I be getting my nails redone. I finally had to leave and pay ANOTHER SALON to fix them! And to top it off, I never got my money back or my change which means my artist kept it as a tip for themselves. I'm supremely disappointed in the business and will absolutely not be back. I've heard of other customers having similar problems, and I was simply hoping it was rumors. Unfortunately, it seems to be true. I just moved to the area and was looking for a place to get a pedicure. I saw that this salon had a lot of good reviews so I gave it a try. I went in at 9:30 and there was only one other customer there. The girl who was doing my nails always made sure that the water/towels weren't too hot. She did a great job, however she never talked to me other then to check for the temperature. I went in alone and would have loved to have a conversation with her. The women clipped both feet, scrubbed them, massaged them (four minutes on each leg), and painted them. She was great! There were two men, who also work there, who were in the front of the store watching a soccer game on full blast. It would have been a lot more of a relaxing environment had there been soft music instead of a blasting soccer game. I also paid in cash (which I read would get my a discount), however I was not given the discount. Overall, I was kind of disappointed in what happened today even though the nail salon has great reviews. I have not decided if I will return. read more
