It's all you can eat and cheap. Student pizza for the hungry but don't expect the best pizza here

We've visited a few different CiCi's around the country, so we know what to expect: Cheap pizza for people that want quantity over quality. We went during lunch and discovered that the manager was on break. Behind his back, the employees pretty much stopped working. It took about 5-8minutes for an employee to take our money at the register (we were the only people in line) because he was talking on the phone (it sounded like a personal call), the buffet sat about 1/2 empty, pizzas came out extremely slow, employes were apathetic (no "hello's or "welcome to CiCi's"), and the place was dirty. The dinning area had about 5-6 tables that had not been cleared (there were only about 3 tables with people eating at them and more than 4 employees). The bathrooms were filthy with a pool of urine in front of the stalls, preventing their use. When the manager showed up, the employees started running around pretending to be busy. We've been to some very nice CiCi's. One's that we'd give 3-4 stars (we haven't been to another CiCI's since we started yelping, so no reviews of the few that we went to in New York), but this branch was dirty and poorly staffed. This is the worst restaurant I have ever ate in. Very dirty from the plates, floor and walls. Wanted to throw up what I consumed. Employees were chatting with friends not working. Gross!!!! read more

I stopped in to cici's looking for a fast cheap meal. I didn't know what I'm be so grossed out and let down by management for have a sick employee working. Maybe the food would have taste better knowing I would not get sick from it. Someone higher up should talk with management to make sure they are making sure the food is safe and the employees are healthy enough for work. I was not the only customer that noticed. The two gentleman upfront at the desk were very entertaining. The pizza was slow getting out. The buffet didn't have very many options. The food was decent, but the cinnamon rolls were amazing!It was decently cleaned. I would come here again. read more

We are big fans even though this place unfortunately closed.We loved the stuffed crust ! It was our kids favorite place to eat and affordable for us as a large family. They even went out of their way to make a crustless pizza for our gluten intolerant little pizza lover. WE WILL MISS YOU sorry to see you go :( Hopefully there will be a new Rochester Location with the same respectful manager and some of the fun staff members. read more

Excellent all-you-can-eat pizza - especially the deep dish pizza. They will customize your pizza upon request. Friendly staff. Nice family atmosphere. Clean bathrooms. You won't go wrong going to this place. read more

Well it was not what they advertise on TV. There is no salad "bar" just a few bowls of wilted lettuce. The kids wanted pizza and I agreed since CiCi's said they had a salad "bar" . They refused to make a whole cheese pizza; they would only make me two slices, that I had to sit and wait for while everyone else ate pizza. Not that I would have ate the whole thing but someone else in the place may have wanted some. I did not like the other kinds they had there. The macaroni and beef tasted like dish soap. The cinnamon rolls were good. It is a good place to take kids, who are not too picky about what kind of pizza they get, because of the price. I would not go there again. The building was kind of stark and messy. It was a pretty gross experience. read more

Visiting from Fargo and was prompted to visit by a late night commercial. Promised my family they would be having the BEST cinnamon rolls they ever ate... EVERYONE was in agreement, not only did the rolls deliver, the pizza choices and quality were spot on. The Bonus...one of the best owner/operator experiences to date. Only went on Sundays where the great kids-eat-free offer made up for the poor food quality. The staff just doesn't know how to apologize when they make a mistake. I took my kid to the bathroom for less than two minutes and came back to find the table cleared, including important work printouts I had on the table. The server just threw my papers in her trash and she gave them back to me covered with salsa with an expressionless unapologetic "I thought you left". Took my dirty papers to the manager explaining I've only been in the bathroom one minute when that happened and he laughs and says "she must have thought you left" You think? That's what you consider an apology? I spent several more minutes in the restaurant wiping my papers with tissues and still no one got the decency to give me a real apology. As I walked out the door, the staff yelled their traditional "Good bye. Thank you for coming".. I'm never stepping foot there again. read more
