Had a bad experience here on Father's day. But I decided to give this location another try, as I had given the north location 3 trys and they never got better 1st the host was great. Made me feel like he wanted my business Asked if I wanted a booth,table, or high top. When I informed him that I was there to watch the Lions game he went to the manager and asked her where to put me. 2nd the manager said sit anywhere and I will turn a TV to the game you want I wonder up sitting in the bar 3rd my waitress (who had a name tag of Elliott,not sure what that was about) greeted me right away. When I explained I didn't drink she was that's ok 4th I asked the manager about getting a half portion of nachos, as I do not have a full stomach. Really bad attitude from the hostess, who wouldn't sit us, even though the place was empty, until all our party was there, because "that's our policy". The situation became absurd when my wife dropped two members of our party before parking, and still she wouldn't sit us. When I asked why, her attitude was dismissive and left me talking by myself. We came into this location to watch the preseason NFL game and grab some apps and drinks. When we first came in, there was a lot going on as far employees walking around. We weren't given menus or silverware but were instructed to sit and they would be brought to us. There weren't very many customers in the restaurant and we had the pleasure of being helped by Lauren. Lauren honestly felt like the only person working or helping the customers. She was bartending, bussing tables, being a hostess all on top of being our waitress. Sam had a couple of customers at the time so he looked pretty busy but there was a group of 7-8 people, including the manager congregated in the back just hanging out and talking and being on their phones. Not once in our whole experience were we greeted or spoken to by anyone other than Lauren and Sam who thankfully brought us silverware since we didn't receive any in the beginning. While we were eating, there were tables that stayed dirty until we were almost finished and a set of ladies were sat at a booth that was still dirty and had to ask to be moved. In the middle of the game, one of the girls working began to turn off all the tvs and we had to ask them to turn it back on. I confirmed they didn't close for another hour and she said responded with "you're fine" Overall this location had pretty good food but I don't think I would recommend based on the employees.. it felt disjointed and chaotic. If it wasn't for Lauren, we probably would've left and just watched the game at the hotel instead. Someone definitely needs to be come in and help bring this group together as a team of workers.. instead of the high school hangout the restaurant felt like the entire time we were here. I just had the worst meal I have ever had at this location! I had to wait an hour for 6 traditional wings that were so overcooked and dry, I couldn't eat them! I was unwilling to wait another hour for fresh wings, so left paying $13.99 for 6 wings that were not edible and a poor example of a side salad-requested no tomatoes, but, tomatoes were put on, then removed leaving remnants behind! We went to this Buffalo Wild Wings because of the proximity to our hotel. We were not impressed. The food was good, but the wait for our order (that we called in) was 45 minutes. Other customers were coming in and getting their food after we got there for our pick up order. The WORST thing was that someone adjusted the tip we left ($3) to $5.00 after we left the restaurant. We came to this BWW and sat at the bar. Never asked if we wanted a menu, had to ask, never once did the bartender ask if we needed anything else, we had to try and get his attention to get refills. I called and left a message twice for the manager to call me back and they never did. The last time i called I was told the manager was tooo busy to come to the phone and to call back! Wasn't busy got seated when we got there. As we were handed our menu our waiter asked what we wanted to drink and if we would like an appetizer. He must've thought we didn't need a menu to tell him what we wanted. Took 45 min to get our wings and fries. The food isn't what it used to be. We went to this BWW because we were given a gift card. Neither my wife nor I could remember the last time we ate at a BWW. The Ambiance was what we were expecting, a sports bar atmosphere with TVs covering the walls like wallpaper covering the current play off games. The service was good and our server was quite friendly. However, none of that could make up for the quality of the food. We ordered a pretzel tray and boneless wings for appetizers. The pretzels we okay, but way overpriced for what you received. The wings were rock hard and luke-warm. The only thing okay about them was the flavor of the meager amount of sauce they tried to douse them on. When we received our meals the fries were stale and lukewarm, my guess is that they had spent a bit of time under the heat lamp and were far from fresh. My wife's could not finish her chicken tenders. She stated that they were almost inedible. She likened them to frozen, freezer burned, poor quality, chicken tenders you find at a gas station at 3 AM. The All American burger that i had was okay, but the fries were of the same quality that my wife experienced. Overall, the food was of very poor quality, and I'm guessing one does not go here for the quality of the food. Maybe the cheap drink specials? Either way we will not be returning and I would not recommend this establishment to anyone. Save your money and go to Kwik Trip. You might find better tasting and better quality food. read more

Very average visit to a Buffalo wild wings. I was honestly undecided if It should get a two or three star. I decided that I'd give it a three because overall I like Buffalo wild wings. We got seated fairly quickly and put our drink orders in. I nanny for a family and we stopped in on our way back from the horse show. It was just me and my little who is 12. We place our order I ordered a snack size of traditional wings with buffalo mild sauce and a garden side salad with no cheese. My little ordered a plain cheeseburger with bacon and pickles and cheddar cheese with a side of cheese curds. The food took a lot longer than I expected for how dead it was. There was a large party seated after us so I figured it would be pretty quick. I had overheard another server saying that they were just helping the main server. You could tell that she was flustered a bit. And it showed because when our order came my little got a completely different burger. Instead of what she ordered she received a plain double cheeseburger with nothing else on it. We were and a bit of a hurry so we didn't say anything about it. She just said she was a bit disappointed but she was very hungry. She did not like the cheese curds she said that they were too salty. I thought my food was fine. I did not like the house salad. The pickled onions on it had a super weird taste that I didn't like. We finished eating and I asked the server for the check. She asked if it's together or separate. I don't mind that much but my little who is only 12 felt a bit weird being asked for separate checks. She then proceeded to take much longer than I expected to get our check. Though when she dropped it off she did apologize. Definitely not my most favorite trip to Buffalo wild wings. I am usually a fan of b-dubs, but this new location needs some fine tuning to run properly. I've been here 3 times and each time the wait for food has been 45+ minutes (for boneless chicken wings). The last time was particularly infuriating because I only saw 3 servers (1 of which was management) bringing out food. The other 6+ servers were having a pow wow in an empty section of tables laughing and giggling. It seemed like they needed more help in the kitchen or they need to constantly crank out those wings as it's their specialty. Onto the food....well the wings are flavorful thanks to their abundance of sauce options. I usually get the small order (~10-12 wings) so I can choose two different sauces and mix it up a bit. If you get the snack size (~8 wings), they only let you choose 1 sauce, fyi. While the wings taste good, they are prepared inconsistently. My wife's order barely had any sauce on the wings where as half my order was drenched in sauce and the other half was hardly coated, similar to my wifes. You could tell they "rushed" it out, and while I'm not ordinarily picky, an extra 5 seconds of attention to detail could have fixed this considering it takes 45 minutes to get it out the door in the first place. I probably wont come back here until they iron out some of their early-opening issues, unfortunately. In the meantime, I would check out their north location instead. read more

It's rare I give Buffalo Wild Wings a five-star review. Most have gone downhill in terms of food quality and service. This location is an exception to the rule. The restaurant is extremely clean, and has a "refreshed" look to it. The service received in the bar area is excellent, with constant attention paid to drink levels, and overall satisfaction of food. The food quality of the wings was exactly what should be expected from all BWWs locations. Wings were served hot, with accurate sauce choices, and even my special request of making the buffalo chips "extra well done" was met. Tom W and Abby are great, friendly bartenders. The entire BWWs org should take a hard look at this location and attempt to mirror worldwide. My experience here is why people fell in love with BWWs in the first place. We came for a late lunch at 1:00 on Labor Day Monday. The staff was slow to seat us, and even slower to serve us. It took over an hour to get our food, and the restaurant was not busy. An amazing burger from Buffalo Wild Wings who would of thought! The restaurant seems to have gone through a menu refresh and this burger was a surprise. They use fresh beef and man was it juicy. I recommend getting it with grilled onions. I would say this burger is one of the best in Rochester. Can't go wrong with an all american cheese burger, but if they could add anything to it was maybe an aoli sauce instead of just mustard. It is a must try from the new menu! This Buffalo Wild Wings is a new location in Rochester. We have made it a frequent stop after our volleyball games for our large group. We have regularly attended this location since it's opening. Every time the staff have been kind and polite through minor mistakes in orders or food delivery. I commend the management who have gone above and beyond to help staff as they are learning. Management was eager to assist and fix any errors that occurred. Tonight we had Avery who continued to smile and hold exquisite customer service even though he had a few errors. Shows that with some more training at this new location they have staff that care about their customers experience. Upon arriving at BWW, we were greeted at 7:10 to be seated. At 7:20, we were greeted by our waitress, who wanted to take our order before our drink order. She took our order, dropped off our drinks and didn't hear from her until 8:10 when our food was finally done, which was cold like it had been waiting to be picked up. Didn't seem to be that busy but maybe I was wrong...at least let us know the food was running behind...and apologize. When we were done eating, waited at least another 20 minutes for bill. read more

Update: 11/11/18 Unfortunately, they haven't worked out the details yet. It took 10 minutes for someone to acknowledge us and take our drink order, and when he finally returned, our food order was placed. Drinks wrong again, but the server didn't return again until after the food had been brought to the table. The server that delivered the food went to get our drinks corrected and to get the sauces we'd ordered. We had to get up and go and ask for napkins and refills, and everything that came to our table was still sitting on it until just before we left - the server seemed completely behind from start to finish. When we walked to the service area to ask for a refill and napkins, a manager asked us how our experience was - and we said that it wasn't going well at all. She seemed to take an interest, but was quickly swept away by another issue elsewhere. She returned to the table a while later, and we had questions about the bill - she was sincere and apologetic, and ended up comping the bill after we'd spoken - she was by far the brightest part of our experience. We will very likely drive across town to the other location from now on - too many lacking experiences at this newer location. read more
