I ordered the soup and particularly asked the server to make sure the chicken be shredded more than usual. She replied yes and wrote down on her pad. When I received my food, I saw the chicken was in clumps and not shredded. I took them out of soup bowl so I can show them to the server. She apologized. She said she will check with the manager who told her that is the way they do it. I thought they are supposed to make their customers happy. They didn't offer any discount or any other way to make it right. I told the server that I will put in the reviews for others to be aware of this situation. Great take on Mexi-American style food. The service is always friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere is cantina style but the food is the reason to go. The menu offerings are a mix of traditional and modern. I have yet to have anything that wasn't good and the portions for the price are very nice. Make sure you go when you're hungry! read more

We had interaction with several different employees. They all had a nice personality and great customer service our host/waiter was a guy named Ray. He was absolutely amazing took our order with no mistakes and it was ready with an awesome amount of time. Everything in our order was exactly as we ordered it. The Mister and I both ordered fajitas. He had the steak fajitas and I had the shrimp fajitas. Everything was grilled to perfection. The ambience was really nice. They had the football game playing on one TV and two other options. 12 of us arrived around 7:30 and within 30 minutes there were 3 tables free which were pushed together. Bar was full, and remained so throughout the entire meal. Service: Amber is fantastic. She handled our crazy group with ease, all orders were correct and she even split the bill accurately, which was not an easy task! She is friendly and attentive and really made our meal an enjoyable experience. Bar: Needs some work. Only 1 wine choice (Frontera) and for a chard it was pretty awful. Also, the wine was served in a stemless cocktail glass as they ran out of wine glasses, which, from what I understand, is a regular occurrence. The tequila shots range from $12-22. The $12 one is watery and tasteless, makes me think the margaritas can't taste that great, or if you do choose a better quality tequila, you're not getting much based on the price charged. Others at our table felt this was an accurate assessment of their mixed drinks. Food: The pork taco was excellent, the beef ones were very good. The enchiladas de Tinga were very good. The charro beans are outstanding. Queso dip was a bit thin, as was the salsa. Atmosphere: A fun vibe, very loud as it was packed. Summary: Food is good. I would probably return if they could get their bar sorted out. Get a decent house wine - Kendall Jackson, Josh or similar. I'd be Ok paying a few more dollars a glass (they charge $5 for the Frontera) to get a better tasting wine. Also, offering mixed drinks with more alcohol and less mixer. read more

Please someone tell the bartender when you say "my pleasure" after every interaction this does not make up for her lack of enthusiasm and lousy service. This review is way overdue. So this was my 1st time at this restaurant when I was down in Georgia and I have to say this food was phenomenal. I don't have the picture but we had the cielo dip which is Queso Dip with grilled chicken, steak and shrimp inside served with three Tortillas. It was amazing I never had anything like that before. We had the fresh madeguacamole. I don't normally like guacamole but I guess because it was fresh and wasn't sitting around for a long time it was really good. We also had the Southwest chicken eggroll once again it was my 1st time having it I've never had a Southwest chicken eggroll before it was nice and moist the chicken wasn't dried out from the eggroll being fried it was good and the Chipotle dipping sauce was spot on. Now onto the main course I had the Texas Bambaso, when I say this was mouthwatering delicious it was mouthwatering delicious. The Texas comes with chicken, shrimp and steak over a bed of rice and topped with cheese sauce. If you love cheese this is the dish for you. Finished the meal off with the Oreo Churros topped with whipped cream and a cherry on top and drizzled with chocolate sauce. Unfortunately I don't remember my waitresses name right now but the manager Jorge was great. He came by the table to check in and make sure everything was going great. Food was good but they messed up with my order. I am religious and don't eat beef. I asked for half shrimp and half chicken quesadilla. But they had few beef pieces in my quesadilla. Also, they overcharged me $16.95. They said because I got a mix of both meats. Which doesn't make any sense because even if I just got the shrimp which is the expensive one out of both meats that I got, it would have cost me only 14.95. They gave me a 5$ gift card as an apology. But apparently I couldn't use it on my next order right away, I have to wait and come back. Well guess what, clearly I am not coming back. read more

I have eaten at many Mexican restaurants over the years. Most restaurants, of Mexican style, are pretty much the same. However, this establishment is by far, the best!... Firstly, they were packed full of happy people (always a good sign) the staff is very helpful and kind hearted. The food, is the best Mexican food that I have ever tasted. That being said, I have visited east Mexico and spent a week there. The food in Mexico did not taste as good as Cielo Blue Cantina in Loganville. Do yourself a culinary favor...eat their food. The fish tacos would have been good had the fish not been super salty. And the way they packed the fish tacos was horrible. The taco salad was bland. This place is extremely subpar. I guarantee you the people in the kitchen are white because the food definitely reflects that. The "Burrito Supreme" that my boyfriend got was puny to say the least and the ground beef looked like it came straight from Taco Bell (see photos). We thought it'd be good because the chips and salsa was pretty delicious to start the meal, but we were pretty starved to begin with. I got the "Fajita Chimichanga" and it was about 1:5 ratio of meat to vegetables. With a $2 up charge for steak, I should've got the chicken. There was maybe an ounce of steak in the chimi, if that, and it was watery which made for a soggy tortilla. 2 stars because the food is great. Service is lacking. (Besides Ethan and Ray, I've always had great experiences with those 2 gentleman as my server.) My girlfriend and I have enjoyed eating dinner here once a week for a while now, but tonight, the service was awful. Food was great and came out fast, but our waitress came by the table a maximum of 2 times. We sat for about 15 minutes after finishing our food before a DIFFERENT waitress asked if we had been given our check. We had not, so she immediately brought it to us. We then waited ANOTHER 15-20 minutes before getting up and taking our check to the hostess because it became apparent our waitress wasn't coming back to grab our card. We finally get out of the restaurant and are getting into our car when we notice that OUR ORIGINAL waitress, along with other staff of the restaurant, were standing outside of the building. I've worked food service and retail jobs in the past, I was even the General Manager of a restaurant. I understand service isn't going to always be 10/10, but when you have customers at a table, WAITING TO PAY YOU, and then they find you hanging out in front of the restaurant, it feels like a slap in the face. read more

Cons: Never, ever, ever order take out from them, I finally stopped ordering take out and order take out from LaBamba, their sister restaurant. Every single time I have ordered take out, items have been incorrect or just plain missing. They never have the same wait staff, and the wait staff they do have is actually terrible. You'll be there for 10 minutes before you get your drink order put in, look over to the side and a group of servers will all be sitting in a booth, not a worry in the world.
