DON'T DON'T EVER RENT OR BUY A PLACE IN SUNNY CREST. MANAGEMENT ARE CROOKS. My husband and I rented…read morea home in Sunny Crest since 2020. When we 1st moved in the Park was really nice. Park management was pleasant and maintenance guys very knowledgeable. As the years went by the management and park went down hill. We at one time talked about doing a rent to own option we asked what the Dollar amt would be for the rent to own we were told you rent it for 5yrs and at the end of the 5yrs we then tell you what the cost would be to purchase the home. So the was a big flag of NO WAY WE WOULD BE DOING A RENT TO OWN. we also asked if the could replace the front stairs because the step rise was tooo high we were having a hard time going up and down them, well let's just say we kept getting the run around regarding the front steps being replaced. The screens in the AZ room out side kept getting blown off every time we had a dust storm or a heavy rain. We also had a lovely little woodpecker that put a sm circle up by the roof of the home, I lost count on how many times I would ask about having the hole repaired( once again kept getting the run around on repairing it). The park had changed management 3 times since we moved in. The 2nd park manager did know or do squat regarding and repairs. We would say something that needed a repair and nothing never got done. This last manager kept telling us that the front stairs would be replaced but never got done. Then I Jan 2026 we were told that the stairs would be done the 1st part of the year. Well as if May2026 when we finally got fed up and decided to move out the stairs still not done. During the later part of 2025 the park all of a sudden decided that it was the renters responsibility to have any palm trees trimmed at our cost up until then the park paid to have them trimmed plus the was a rain water run off at the back of our home we rented we asked when we 1st moved in who was responsible for removing the weeds in the run off area and we were told it was the park's responsibility to take care of it. Well once again the newest park manager said that it was our responsibility to have them removed. Now let just say that every years the lot rents would increase but nothing ever got done. The best part was (NOT!!!!) they would do inspections on the property and everything would a pass the inspections but all off a sudden after we moved out we were told we didn't have to worry about cleaning the place because they decided that they were going to remodel this 1984 2bd, 2ba home when they did the final inspection everything failed which ment it was the managements way saying your not getting your deposit back. They claimed they used it for cleaning. We asked for asked for a line by line cost detail on what my 800.00 deposit was used for. We are still waiting on it. ONCE AGAIN THE PARK OWNERS AND MANAGEMENT ARE CROOKS.

Right out of the gate, she started making much-needed improvements here. The community looks so much better now and looks like an enjoyable place to live, which it is now. I appreciate all the effort to making the improvements and future plans for the park. I would highly recommend living here in Sunny Crest MHP!

I rarely feel the need to write reviews about a business but this has upset me and my children for…read morea while now. I moved here in 2017 with the intention of making it my last home. I'm now 80 years old. After interacting with Debra Senger I vowed never to enter the office again and it's now been 8 years. Apparently that problem was resolved by the Management Company. However, in the past eight years there has been a steady increase in the land rent every year even though the property has been owned by the same people since the 1980s. Even during COVID when people were not working. So annual social security payment increases mean that all we do is turn the money over to Brentwood Southern. It does not benefit the senior citizen. Residents who have tall palm trees on their lots are required to pay for the trimming every year even though the trees do NOT belong to them but to Brentwood Southern. And the residents are NOT allowed to use their own landscapers at a cheaper cost, but MUST use the community landscaping. The current cost is $70 per tree. Those of us who are living on just social security find this a real hardship. Also this year each owner was assessed a portion of the community's property tax bill. Even though we pay our own personal property tax to the county, now we have to pay the community property tax.? There are many residents here who are retired and living on fixed incomes. They can ill afford to have some kind of cost increase for living in this community that offers very few amenities. I wish I had known all of this while I was searching for a nice, quiet community.

I was ready to purchase a home in the park, the drawback being it was located in the "No Pets" area. The Americans With Disabilities website states that under the "Housing Act" accomodations must be made for disabled people with an "Emotional Support Animal" . If this is not done, it is considered discrimination and they can be sued. This is exactly what I plan on doing. I see by the reviews that others have had bad experiences with her. Shame on the company for employing her, and shame on her for being so rude and hateful. I would not live there now if the lot rent was free.
