Alisha Heath, our most recent PM, sent an e-mail that the office would be closed today, and we have never even met her/him/it (I'm not good with pronouns). In fact, in three years we have only met two of the Property Managers, and one was asking for us to remove a "Let's Go Brandon" flag. Agave Village has completely gone to hell in the last few years. There are dozens and dozens of homes for sale, but nobody will buy here. While Roots Management (formerly Treehouse Management...which shows how far they have sunk) makes it impossible for residents to sell, they continue to raise our space rent and gouge the residents on their electric bills, because they meter the usage instead of SRP.

It has many amenities available to it's community. READY FOR A SHOCKER!?! Their rent is ONLY $538 a month! That's about $350 cheaper than any of the other parks that I have looked at. The home owners in this park were very nice as well. This community has an active clubhouse with a social calendar, billiard game room, shuffleboard courts, library, fireplace with TV and a year-round heated pool for your entertainment pleasure. This park is a clean, newly paved, quiet, 55+, no pet community that is close to the freeway, bus routes, grocery stores, restaurants and other shopping. Park management was pleasant and maintenance guys very knowledgeable. As the years went by the management and park went down hill. We at one time talked about doing a rent to own option we asked what the Dollar amt would be for the rent to own we were told you rent it for 5yrs and at the end of the 5yrs we then tell you what the cost would be to purchase the home. So the was a big flag of NO WAY WE WOULD BE DOING A RENT TO OWN. we also asked if the could replace the front stairs because the step rise was tooo high we were having a hard time going up and down them, well let's just say we kept getting the run around regarding the front steps being replaced. The screens in the AZ room out side kept getting blown off every time we had a dust storm or a heavy rain. We also had a lovely little woodpecker that put a sm circle up by the roof of the home, I lost count on how many times I would ask about having the hole repaired( once again kept getting the run around on repairing it). The park had changed management 3 times since we moved in. The 2nd park manager did know or do squat regarding and repairs. We would say something that needed a repair and nothing never got done. This last manager kept telling us that the front stairs would be replaced but never got done. Then I Jan 2026 we were told that the stairs would be done the 1st part of the year. Well as if May2026 when we finally got fed up and decided to move out the stairs still not done. During the later part of 2025 the park all of a sudden decided that it was the renters responsibility to have any palm trees trimmed at our cost up until then the park paid to have them trimmed plus the was a rain water run off at the back of our home we rented we asked when we 1st moved in who was responsible for removing the weeds in the run off area and we were told it was the park's responsibility to take care of it. Well once again the newest park manager said that it was our responsibility to have them removed. Now let just say that every years the lot rents would increase but nothing ever got done. The best part was (NOT!!!!) they would do inspections on the property and everything would a pass the inspections but all off a sudden after we moved out we were told we didn't have to worry about cleaning the place because they decided that they were going to remodel this 1984 2bd, 2ba home when they did the final inspection everything failed which ment it was the managements way saying your not getting your deposit back. They claimed they used it for cleaning. We asked for asked for a line by line cost detail on what my 800.00 deposit was used for. We are still waiting on it. ONCE AGAIN THE PARK OWNERS AND MANAGEMENT ARE CROOKS.

There are issues here, drama (always) plus we are constantly told it's "not in the budge or "must be approved by corporate" to fix things like our locked gate (we are a gated community) new pool seems to constantly need maintenance for something so we wait and continue to pay our lot rent without issue while corporate continues to take in the $$$. Basically most things are not fixed in a timely manner. The current office manager (Carol) is amazing, friendly, and listens to what you have to say. The yard isn't nearly nice as it once was, the Rose Garden is vanishing little by little yet somehow we are a community that looks out for and takes care of each other. We have a Bocce Ball area that no one has used since corporate spent thousands to create when all the residents want is their patio area back. It's pretty close to being a great place to live with a few exceptions.

I have been without gas since the last day of August. Southwest Gas says their responsibility stops…read moreat the meter which is located 3 trailers below me. Office manager Tim says that it isn't his problem. Told me to hire a plumber to run a gas line to the side of my trailer which cost me $3,030. Same plumber says he will only charge me $440 to hook up the gas. Which will take weeks to get done. And then Southwest Gas has to approve it before they will turn it on.
