Staff was very helpful in locating a wagon when I picked up too many plants to carry and answered questions about where to check out and identified plants for us throughout our visit. We spent about an hour browsing the various greenhouses aisle by aisle, and quickly realized they have many different sizes and price points for just about everything. I loved the indoor space too and got lots of ideas for yard decor as well as some new indoor plants. My favorite find is pictured here, some variety of hydrangea I think they said. It's a striking combination of fuchsia pink blooms with dark foliage and looks nothing like what I would expect from a hydrangea. We talked about care tips and how to plant it. I hope it stays this color! I doubt my husband will allow me to go back every week, as this would quickly get expensive. I did not stop picking up plants until the wagon was overloaded and I had gone back to a full armload. We'll return several times throughout the growing season though, as I am not seeing so many different varieties in any of the other plant shops or stores in the area.

I was prepared and ready and Chilly Palm ghosted me and wouldn't even answer the phone and then only would communicate via text a day before he supposed to get the tree. All I got was all types of excuses for not to bringing me a tree. I'm like if you didn't want to the job then fine I would find someone else or at least he could have called or texted me the next day or so to back out of the deal before I started digging and tearing up my yard but no he was going to just let me hang. I told the salesman that we wanted to order cedar siding to install on this trip. I made it clear that we were coming from out of town and would only have two weeks to install the siding. He told me several times that he recommends fiber cement siding. I told him I was doing the job with my wife and the weight and breakage worried me, that we would stick to cedar. He asked me what we had on the house, I told him cedar. He said he would go by our house and look at what we had and get back to me. I had just told him cedar and he thinks I'm not smart enough to know what we have. I sent him our sq ft requiements and size of cedar siding I wanted and told him when we would be there and I needed the siding then. So I figured he had ordered our siding. I text him a week before we arrived to make sure the siding would be there. He had no clue as to who I was. I had to remind him of our conversation and then it was "oh yeah, now I remember". I asked about the siding. He said he would really recommend the fiber cement. I asked if he had ordered our siding. He text that he was going on vacation, I needed to call John, (not real name). I called several times, no answer. Text, no response. I tried to contact both of these guys multiple times, got nowhere. We already had our plane tickets, sheltered our dog, took two weeks off from work, rented a car and made plans with family, friends and grand daughters, etc. So we are into this trip for about $2000.00 before we get there to install siding. Got to the building center and our siding was not there but they could order it. Luckily, Home Depot had cedar siding in stock so it wasn't a wasted trip. I don't think I will ever do business with these clowns. They wouldn't listen to what I wanted. They didn't order our materials. They didn't care about what we wanted. Sounds to me like they are on commission so the more they sell you, the more they make.
