So , I went into the store today to purchase cigars for my son as part of his Christmas presents . The store looks nice and they have a lounge when you first walk in . A lady asked to assist me and when I told her what I was looking for she said she was new and had to ask someone if they carried them . A young Asian man was helping two guys and she asked him . Well , he giggled and smiled and said no . Not very professional , especially in front of two other customers ! This place is called a Cigar Warehouse , not Fancy Cigar Warehouse , so I figured not everything would be high end . I was pissed and started to leave and an older gentleman asked to help me and said he could show me something like I was looking for , but by then I was out the door . I work at a 5 Diamond Hotel as a Bellman and I am asked for references about places all the time . Do you think I would send one of my guest to this place . Lots of guys doing bachelor parties and Superbowl parties ask me for places to go . I would not send them here after being disrespected by your employee . I went to another place a few blocks away and they had what I was looking for and several to chose from . I bought a whole box . read more

I've been smoking cigars once or twice a week for several years. I ran into a old friend who also smokes and he told me that I must check this place out. I came in and was really impressed with everything. It's in a good neighborhood and a very clean shop. I met Kevin C who showed me a bunch of stuff and gave me a lot of information that I never knew before. Visited Cigar Warehouse yesterday and was blown away by the customer service. Nick was patient, informative, and beyond helpful to this novice and took his time to educate rather than condescend. Nick was never pushy and never tried to convince me that I needed something right then, even though I informed him from the start that I wanted to get setup for this new-found hobby. As a matter of fact, my experience was quite the opposite and Nick slowed me down a bit and I walked out of the store with only a few cigars but a lot more educated. These guys are top notch! The walk-in humidor is stocked with a large selection and the prices are unbelievable! Advice and/or recommendations are immediately available by any one of the capable staff members. The cigar lounge was the icing on the cake! Upon entering the shop I was warmly greeted by patrons already enjoying a leisure smoke. These total strangers would later, after my purchase, provide more than an hour of camaraderie as we sat around talking or simply taking pleasure in our cigar. Do not let the surroundings dissuade you! The shop is not on the Strip (I think that makes it even better) but it's not far off the Strip if you're just in town for a getaway and need a cigar. This place IS NOT pretentious at all and you will feel right at home! As far as the price point, it wasn't the cheapest shop we stopped at but it wasn't the most expensive either. We might be back if we end up on that side of the interstate but we won't be making any special trips to this place either - we have another shop we prefer and we don't mind driving a little further to get there. read more
