This location in particular is close to my home and while I've usually had great experiences with sprouts in general, I had the best sprouts customer service tonight. The whole team was very friendly between the associate who offered me a basket, the team member who offered me a grocery bag, and the team members mentioned below. It was about an hour before closing and I had just ran in to grab a few things I needed, which I thought would be an easy in-n-out trip. First of all, I was greeted while browsing by an employee named Christian with a friendly smile who helped me by checking their inventory both on the floor and in the back for an item that the app showed in stock, but ultimately was not. Then, I wasn't able to find the only teriyaki sauce I can have with my allergies. Christian helped me look and Maylem (spelling?) ultimately found it in a hiding spot on the opposite side of the store!! (Impressive recollection of inventory & store mapping) Then at check out, Jackie made me feel so at ease even though me and my ADHD forgot to use my coupon at first. She was so kind, it was like I was talking to a friend. Her kindness made my embarrassment melt away. Did I mention it was nearing closing time? Most people at that time of a shift are tired and ready to go home, let alone help a customer with the assistance I required this evening. It's silly to say, but sometimes the best part of our day can be a quick trip to the grocery store--today was exactly that thanks to the help of these team members. Thank you sprouts for hiring/training amazing staff, stocking so many allergy friendly options, and offering such great sales!!

My biggest issue is with the aisles. Almost every time I shop, there are stockers with carts and boxes blocking the way. I understand shelves need to be restocked, but during business hours it should be a given that staff keep the aisles as clear as possible so customers can move around easily. On top of that, there are often promotional displays in the middle of the aisles, making it hard for two carts to pass. The produce section is hit or miss. Sometimes it's fresh and appealing, other times it looks pretty sad. I also question the product placement. For example, I went to grab canned pumpkin. The regular 15-oz cans weren't on the shelf--only the larger size. I took one of those, only to later discover a stack of the 15-oz cans at the front of the aisle. Unless you happen to circle back, you'd miss them entirely. It would make sense to keep some of the smaller cans with the larger ones so shoppers don't have to hunt around.

When he saw me, he asked if I needed help, and when I told him I wanted some deli meat, he took off the gloves he was wearing to make the sandwich, dropped what he was doing, and immediately helped me, mid-sandwich! I let him know the type of deli meat I wanted and he said he would go check in the back because they were out of it behind the counter. Again, so nice! You would be surprised how many stores I've been to where the employees don't even bother to go and check in the back because they don't want to take the time to do so. After I got the deli meat and we grabbed a few other items from the store, we went in the checkout line and the employee there was also SUPER nice. She started engaging with me, asking me how my day was, how my Thanksgiving went--you know, small pleasantries that seem to have fallen from our generation's manners. She saw my kids and immediately took out a bag with dozens and dozens of stickers and asked them to pick out a few for themselves. It's the small things that speak volumes! Then, a customer walked in and said there was some crazy person outside who was cussing at people. I bring this up to highlight the level of seriousness and care the employees took to this customer's concern. Three employees immediately walked out, trying to track down the person who was swearing at others. I literally love this Bel Air location. Truly, their customer service is out of this world and the employees seem like they really enjoy their jobs. Treat your employees right and they'll be sure to take care of your customers. To the manager at this Bel Air location: you are doing something right because the past two times I walked into this store (9 years apart!) I would shop there because I had to pick up my meds and I would get food at the Same time. The pharmacist just made things so difficult, and I spoke to manger in corporate about how wait times were bad ( 2 and 3 days after they said it would be ready bad ) and i realized that they have a lot more work than normal now that rite aid closed. So many spoke to I believe doug at corporate about how they would always send stuff back that was written perfectly and how they were making me essentially see the same doctor again small cause things weren't written exactly how things had to be! After making this complaint those things stopped, they stopped being ticking tacky rejections for small things. At least so I thought, today they said my medication wouldn't be filled and I was like why not? They said insurance wouldn't pay for it. So I called the prescription line and they said they were confused and said they never were notified. So I then asked the pharmacy to electronically transfer my script to cvs and they said they can't with this medication and I said are u sure ( knowing they changed the law in Aug 2023 ) after she said 100% I told her the law code and she said well let me just call ur doctors office real quick and said they would help but they never reached back out nor filled the prescription so I had to fire them.
