What can I say about CI - Katy...while I enjoy the convenience CI, as it is less than 7 miles from my, I am conflicted as to where I stand on CI. I've made some good friends here since moving to Katy, but I have serious concerns about the management of this location. There is so much potential as far as what this place can be, but the management at this location seems to not understand what listening to your customers and in some cases, what your employees tell you. Their humidor is nice, but I can't understand how CI could have a lack of cigars. There are so many times that there are way too many gaps in the selection at CI. It makes me wonder whether they have a clue of how to properly maintain and stock a humidor of this size. Beyond that the bar seems to have issues constantly with maintaining top shelf alcohol on a consistent basis. The beer selection never rotates, and their bourbon and whiskey selection are lacking for the prices that they charge. They seem to want to get rid of or run off all of the bartenders that make this place run. In continuing the one thing that they are doing that makes them different...the food trucks, they seem to screw up. Most people come here for the food trucks and they are running off the one thing that draws people here outside of the people that frequently this location. There are a some staples in food trucks that they are being pushed out in an effort to change things up. Some times you shouldn't try to fix something that isn't broken. While every business makes decisions that they feel are in the best interest of the business, it makes no sense to change something that is working. Working so well that people come here specifically for the food trucks, and now they want to change that up. Oh well, I guess they don't want to keep the one thing that has been a consistent draw. I certainly hope that they get it together and start to cater towards the people that make this location work. In short, I would say that I hope that they realize the full potential of this location. It has a lot going for it, but that can only be achieved if they make the necessary adjustments to make this place be a premier cigar lounge experience. read more

Came here to celebrate a birthday and ended up enjoying First Friday festivities. Many vendors both inside and out, a dj and drink specials. The dj created a nice vibe, the humidor is huge with plenty of options to choose from. Staff is friendly and a decent amount of seating options. Not only is this a cigar lounge with both domestic and internatiinal distribution but a full service bar as well. I do feel the drinks were priced a little high. $16 for a sidecar in a rocks glass. The reverse happy hr is a nice touch that takes place around 10pm. Overall had a nice time for my first visit. read more

First time visiting this cigar lounge. Upon entering we were greeted with a smile and immediately asked if we wanted to be seated or would like to go into to the cigar selection area. The cigar selection is diverse something for everyone, this is like a candy store brings so much joy to one. This is relaxed, lively casual atmosphere, no chaos which is greatly appreciated! The Mr and I been wanting to visit this establishment so we decided to take the 45 minute drive( well worth it). Upon arrival I was impressed with the parking situation (that seems to be alot of issues at most places) lots of space. We entered into the establishment and entered the large humidor on the left the two gentlemen were friendly and answered all our questions and let us know what the SPECIALS were we settled with a few. Went out to the bar area ( spacious as well) didn't have to wait long before we were waited on. The process was smooth the D.j was good played a mixture of music it wasn't crowded, the bathrooms were clean and they had a great amount of t.vs and liquor selection. Enjoyed this spot on a Sunday. It's SUPERRRRR far from me as I live in Atascocita, however I was in the vicinity for another event. Sunday they have fresh BBQ being prepared and sold in the parking lot. They have a full bar and drinks were very reasonably priced. Great selection of cigars too and knowledgeable staff. I like that they have a few cutting and lighting stations (I guess that's what you call them!) so you can do it yourself (yes I'm a NOVICE) if you don't have your own stuff. I visited for the grand opening. There were extremely long lines but I as lucky to meet my friend there and didn't have to wait long. They gave out gift bags with act shirt and a engraved glass with their emblem on it. There is a huge humidor and a full bar. There must be thousands of cigars there! This was my first outing to a cigar bar so I really didn't know what to expect. The atmosphere was very inviting. They had cool music, cigars for days, and ALCOHOL!! I don't smoke, but it's still a cool hanging spot if you just want to chill. Things I didn't realize are that lighters can cost over 200.00 and also that sooo many women smoke cigars. I was impressed..I definitely thought it was a "man" thing. Now the sidecar was amazing...20.00...but AMAZING. SHOUT OUT TO THE BARTENDER. Visit was ok. Decided to drive down from the woodlands area and try a new lounge to smoke in. Upon entering, the place seemed squeezed in and felt like a lounge that took over a small restaurant. Getting to the humidor was interesting. The walkway was a small space passing through chairs and a huge fan. Upon entering the humidor, not one person greeted us and the people there a man and woman were talking about "God" and shouting "Amen". Laughing and talking to one another the whole time and never once asking if we needed any help or recommendations. We purchased our cigars. The humidor had a decent selection, but all the cigars were priced about $2 more than the average price for the area of Houston. The bar area felt like a sports bar, but had decent music playing. We sat in some chairs and noticed the air wasn't moving and it felt smoky. Found out the filter and air vent system wasn't working. There was a guy that said he was the maintenance guy, who helped out at the bar and got drinks and smoke in exchange for cleaning out the ash trays and picking up the drinks. He said he gets to smoke and drink and hang out in the job. Seemed a bit unprofessional and extremely relaxed. I'm pretty sure this is not legal, but I could be wrong. Everyone is super squeezed and no real area for smaller party's or privacy, you almost forced to face, sit next to someone and talk to them, due to such close proximity. Overall a chill place to have a drink and smoke, but not a lounge vibe or a place to relax. Very much a cigar restaurant bar feel, without the food. Like a fast food cigar place. This place is AWESOME!!! Purchased some cigars for my dad here for his bday last year and they were so nice and attentive and helpful that i came back this year with my Dad in tow! Once again they did not disappoint! We were approached and introduced to all the employees and they gave us many options and suggestions without "Bugging us". We took their suggestions and sat at the bar (very cool place to smoke your new cigar and have a drink and watch the game!!) My Dad was in La-La Land!! They also have this thing that they do, pairing cigars with alcoholic beverages to enhance the smoking experience. Service was not up to par. The waitress made my drink by touching the ice with her bare hands. I ask her to remake my drink and said " that's how she always makes them."She never came to check on our table we had to walk up to the bar every time we wanted a drink the place wasn't busy at all. The service is not what I was accustomed to receiving. Other patrons around me said the same thing. She was not rude but her customer service made me feel I wasn't welcome CI has given me much much better service in times past. Tonight was not at all what I was used to getting. The bar is a different story, I've been multiple times and almost have to beg to put in an order for a drink, even when I'm sitting at the bar itself. Came here on a Saturday evening. It was my first time here and I enjoyed myself. I am in no way a cigar expert at all, however it's still a great place to hang out and chill. They do offer drink/cigar specials. On this particular night that offered lemon drops and old fashioned for $8. I didn't particularly care for one bartender (Isabella I think her name was) she made the drinks good and strong, however one time I gave her money she didn't bring back my change until like 15 minutes later. Another time I ordered a sidecar and paid $20 she only brought me back a dollar. I refuse to believe that small cocktail was $19!! They also do not have a kitchen so they sell no food (you're allowed to bring outside food). There was a food truck in the parking lot but it left around 10:00pm. There was no live music, no DJ, I didn't hear any music really. No TVs to show sports or anything. It's an older crowd 30+ which I liked.
