Been a customer for 7? Years. Stoped a 2 pack a day habit. You can smoke. I choose to vape and have no need of tobacco. The vape gives my hand something to do. I call it nicotine therapy. I love going to oak park now. It's social engagement. We talk, I buy, she gives. I treat it like a bar. I work alone. So this my touch to people. I have changed mods and flavors easily 100 times. I puff easily 600 times a day. I wear the metal out! I carry two vapes every day just in case I destroy one while working. Easily I've gone through 14 mods. Three different manufactures. Each time from CIGNOT. Only once did they recommend one that was not to my liking. I gave it away. I don't do external batteries. When I get bored with a flavor, she tells me try this. And I am pleased. I have an odd habit of buying other people complete vape set ups. I give them gifts to help them stop smoking. One of them ended up in Serbia. My Dentist loves me! Her father no longer smokes. My future son-in-law loves his tobacco flavored juice. The Proprietor is friendly and helpful every visit. I wish I could give a negative star rating, this is only my second negative rating on Yelp ever. First off, they don't open till 12am if you are lucky. They often put up a sign that says "be back in 5 minutes" but that's not true. They sell great juice but that's it! They sold me their last defective product! No wonder they are never open! They have no idea about any of the products they sell and took at least 20 minutes to ring me up the couple times I was there because they don't even know how to operate the register! I have been dealing with Cignot and its owner for many years (2013) and just really felt it was time to give some props for the ever constant terrific customer service and attention. Few retailers are as helpful and experienced as this chain; we're all very lucky to have them. Dude...this place. I got off work and had a broken tank. I walked up to the door in desperation and they were locking it. I wanted to cry. I'm not exaggerating. The guy offered to help me out. He opened the door and disengaged the alarm system JUST to get me a new tank. Wanna talk about amazing service?!?!?! He wasn't even frustrated and didn't rush the "shopping experience". After a long day at work, I was so relieved to have someone on my team. Moreover, he was super knowledgable and hooked me up with a killer new tank. I was surprised how low the prices were compared to other shops I'd stopped in. Also, I'll never buy a vanilla liquid from anywhere else, ever, EVER again. It's seriously like vaping ice cream. I started going to this place about 6 months ago and now, I don't go anywere else. Eveyone there is very knowledgeable and very friendly. They don't just try and sell you, they actually take the time and explian everything in detail. I've been to a few smoke shops were there is some snot nose kid giving you an aditude. Not here! My girlfriend and I decided to stop smoking for the new year. She had done this once before last year and fell off for one reason or another. So I went in with her old vape and spent an hour with the salesperson there. It was an excellent experience. She did not pressure me to buy anything and just gave helpful tips for what I should use and how my girlfriends vape works. After the hour I was fully set up with my new one and some new coils for the other one. Well, I did noticed a small issue with my new vape and brought it in to make sure there wasn't a major issue. Albus took great care of me. When I left, I couldn't have been happier with the service of this store. I highly recommend it for anyone who is new to vaping. read more

I have been a customer of Cignot since 2009. I had heard about vaping and looked it up on the internet. I found Cignot and haven't looked back in all the years that have passed. I live in OH and Vickie walked me through starting my giving up of cigarettes and on to vaping. She walked me through everything I needed and though vape shops have popped all over my metro area, I wouldn't ever do business with anyone other than Vicki and her crew. I am VERY disappointed that soon the shipping of vaping products will be illegal. I will be wishing I live in Chicago. I have been a loyal EGO follower since day one and since my style is being discontinued Vicki has steered to me a new system that is going to be comparable to the Ego. It's called the Evod and I just got mine and haven't tried it yet, it looks like it's going to do the job of taking the place of the Ego. I want to love this place. It's my local vape store and actually the only one I can physically reach. (Major plus as in literal captive customer.) I believe in independent woman-owned businesses. I believe in vaping as smoking cessation. I sign petitions. But the staff is schizophrenic. Days of pleasant interactions, lots of advice and money changing hands, all great shopping experiences. Prices are excellent. I want to marry this vape shop. Annnnd.... then there are the days where you get one of the ones who you don't want to explain what happened because you're still craving a cigarette from it. Quirky. Find your favorite person for you; and use the old "mirror to see around a corner" trick to check if that's who's minding shop that day. (Is this just me? Or do very occasionally people have a few, random but, yes, slightly surreal--I just quit smoking; my "surreal" tolerance is low--experience with a particular or two staff member. And then it's fine... Mostly.?) If you have consistently non-weird interactions with different staff on subsequent days, you will reap the benefits of a great little vape store. If you know what I mean... bear in mind I did say this is the only vape store I can get to. Plus it's everything a vape store should be. Seldom to people have something nice to say or take the time to write something nice. Most of the time you have a bad review over a good one. I frequent this store I am yelping about but I usually order online. I am just here to say I am amazed that I placed an order at about 5pm last night and received it at my door step within 24 hours of placing my order.... I was thinking I am shit out of luck for the Holiday weekend placing this order so late. Guess again! I decided to try vaping in an effort to quit smoking and save money. I initially went out to the Elmhurst store and had an excellent experience. I got all of my questions answered, and I was able to test/try before I bought. I was also given excellent, patient, instructions on the care/feeding of my vape. I found out while in the store that the Oak Park location had just opened. So, Ive visited the Oak Park location a couple of times since. Ive met the same knowledgeable, friendly staff. I have to say, in both places, I did not feel like I was being sold to, or pressured by an upsell or anything like that. The experience was very much about education and choosing the products/ejuices/price points that best worked for me. I really do appreciate that. If you are unsure if ecigs are for you, I encourage you to visit the store. I really cant remember the last time I have had such a pleasant retail experience. read more

This place does not have their $h!t together!! I tried buying a disposable vape and it took 15 minutes before the cashier told me he couldnt ring it up because it wasnt checked in inventory yet. WTF?!?! He was also extremely rude and had little ideas to help me out before i was rung up and during the issue i explained.
