Yucca fries, vegan arepa, December everyday arepa, and Queen arepa
    Yushi N.

For so long I have avoided this place because I FOR ONE do not partake in the devil's herb (cilantro). But lo and behold! They actually specialize in arepas :O Tbh I don't have a ton of experience eating arepas but what's not to love - they're fried and made of corn *heart eyes* The only thing is that I thought the arepas would be warm as a womb but they were kinda just room temp :/ Of the three arepas I ordered, I liked the vegan one the best by far. It had depth of flavor (perhaps from Beans) and gave the least tuna fish sandwich vibes visually. Loved the yucca fries! And the dipping sauce kinda tasted exactly like the special sauce at Brassica...yermy. To order, just pull up at the Sunoco, speak to the friendly people in the food truck, vibe in the parking lot, get ur food, and haul ass to a nearby location to eat. Yayeet

    Queen Arepa - very good

DE-LISH-UUUS!!! Great food. We had the 937 Arepa which is the same as the 614 but with chicken instead of beef. And not shredded chicken like with the Queen Arepa, but juicy chicken thigh meat that was full of flavor. The cheese and the shell are perfection. Also, their fries remind me of fries from when I was a kid. And they cook them perfectly.

I was visiting to have dinner with my friends. This restaurant is new and they were very welcoming to a party of six! There is sufficient parking and the space inside is well decorated. The service was great, the menu online and the menu in person is a little different so I took pictures of the restaurant menu. There are a few differences. I ordered the pabellon and substituted the beef for avocado and it was really good! There is no vegetarian arepa (only vegan) so this was a good mix.

Pork arepa - bacon and fried pork with cheese and cilantro sauce

I can't believe I slept on this spot for so long -- don't make the same mistake as me! We have been twice now and have really liked everything. The guys working are super friendly and everything is fresh and flavorful. A few of my faves are their cilantro sauce, fried plantains, agua de Fresca (water-based juice blend. I am obsessed with it!) and the 614 arepa. Man, their grilled beef is insanely good. It's really tender steak with slices of griddled cheese. What's not to love?! I can't wait to try breakfast!! Definitely one of my favorites of 2022

The cachapa with shredded beef and yuca fries were absolutely delicious. Went during happy hour but forgot to mention that, so I think we were charged full price. They had live music starting up which was super fun too. Would definitely recommend!

    Make your own bowl

I was craving something different for dinner tonight. After a quick DoorDash search, I landed on Cilantro Latin Bistro. I went with a build your own bowl which offered so many options, I found it hard to decided. Since I wasn't familiar with the restaurant I went with a few things I thought might be familiar like shredded chicken and pulled pork with a spicy cilantro sauce. This was to come on a bed of black beans, salad, sautéed vegetables with a cilantro & spinach Arepa. I also ordered a shredded beef Venezuelan empanada because I saw people going crazy for them in the reviews. The food arrived stapled up in a bag and nicely packaged inside. I appreciate the bag being stapled because it gives me more confidence my food hasn't been tampered with. While the bowl I ordered wasn't what I expected, I found the taste delicious. The portions were good for the price. I thought the beef empanada was good, I'm not sure it lived up to the hype found in the reviews. Having said that, I would order from this place again. I'm curious about some of the other items on their menu. I give them a thumbs up and hope you give them a try too.

Among the Latin restaurants in Columbus this is by far the best so far. The place is cosy and nice to look at. The service was really good, our server was more than helpful. However the main attraction is the food and was not disappointing. It seems the chef of cooks put a real effort and make the food look and taste amazing. I would say I am more than willing to come back and recommend this place to my friends. Well done guys. My only recommendation is, if you are planning to order Chicha, ask for chocolate syrup on the side, I think it doesn't need it.

Came to the food truck on a Monday early evening. They didn't have a long line, but a constant flow of people coming by for pickup orders. They had 3 or 4 tables outside the gas station with umbrellas to block the sun. We ordered an empanada, a pabellon bowl, cachapa, and 2 California smoothies. Everything was DELICIOUS. The cachapa was divine. The fried pork was perfectly crunchy and tender at the same time and the corn cakes were so flavorful. I definitely will be back to try the arepas.

    614 Arepa

We had seen the food truck and decided it was time to give it a try! We placed an online order, which was ready when expected. The 614 arepa was very good, with juicy meat in the arepa - the cilantro sauce was excellent and really put it over the top! The fries were fine, but the arepa and sauce were definitely the stars of the show. We also want to try the smoothies in the future!

Cilantro Latin Bistro is super close to my house and such a convenient spot that provides a quality product. The food is always fresh and flavorful, employees friendly and portions are generous.

Such great authentic Latin food. Perfect maduros. Not overpriced. Nice and attentive service .

    Queen Arepa and Chicken Empanada

A friend and I were craving authentic arepas and Cilantro definitely delivered. They have been around for about a year, but this was our first trip. The truck was easy to find off of King Avenue and the owners were very friendly. They even gave us their favorite suggestions on what to order, which helped me decide on the Queen Arepa. They deliver it to your car which was wonderful on a cold night. The Queen Arepa was filling and delicious. I would definitely order it again. The empanada, however, left much to be desired. I love my empanadas and was sad to see that it was barely full of meat and mostly full of air. I would come back again, but will be sticking to the arepas in the future.

If you're in the area, this place is definitely worth checking out. I placed my order online and went to pick it up shortly after. The process was fairly easy. The food was so flavorful and the meat was tender. I decided to try the 614 Arepa and it was so cheesy but oh so delicious. The only down side of things was that it is a good truck outside of a gas station so parking can be tricky!

Not bad but nothing special. We also shared the shrimp ceviche. Good flavor but strange texture with the toasted nuts. The food seems like it's fusion as my friend and I both got chilaquiles but the chips were already broken apart and mixed with the meat. Still tasty but not what we expected. My other friend got the patacon, which basically looked like a salad. Far from the usual plantain fritters with toppings. Only one of my table mates ordered something that sounded like what was expected, the Ecuadorian churrasco: sirloin, eggs, fries, rice, and salad. For dessert, we got the flan and tres leches cake. There was a hair on the cake and they quickly gave us a new slice. Good but the flan could've been better. The cake was good though. Nothing was too sweet which was perfect. Overall the food was good but not as authentic as we had hoped. The service was also a bit slow. It was a slower evening but it took a while to get our drinks. Our server was really nice though. We ordered his recommendations. I'm not too familiar with parking around here but there were parallel spots in front. I parked in the garage at the back. Around $6 for two hours.

Hubs ordered the lunch chicken bowl with rice, black beans, grilled chicken and corn. The corn was served refrigerator cold. The rest of the meal was hot. Overall the food lacked seasoning. Service actually has improved; if you've come to this restaurant before you know that every plate is made fresh and that the dishes come out one at a time and not all at once. While my dishes came out separate as usual, the timing between dishes to table has drastically improved! When looking up this restaurant on line the cost for meals is listed as $ out of $$$$, however IMO it should be $$ or $$$. These two dishes and one drink (Chicha Morada) cost me $39.59 (3% charge for using credit card) Restrooms are...well they need improvement to say the least. Broken toilet in men's restroom and women's restroom needs cleaning. Overall it was an "ok" experience...I've been here before and because I HAVE SEEN improvement in food quality and service I'll give it 4 stars...otherwise it would be 2 stars if it was my first experience.
