We stopped by Bloom and Barrel on SR161 in Linworth this morning. Your food truck is parked there and we ordered breakfast from it. The menu posted on your truck sounded very good however, for the most part, the prices were not listed. We ordered a vegetarian breakfast and a breakfast burrito. It was very expensive (almost $30!) and took forever to get our food. In fact the rest of our party had already gotten their food and had pretty much eaten everything by the time ours came out. On top of that, once we got the food, it was barely warm. I paid $14 for a small breakfast burrito (think half the size of a Chipotle burrito) that wasn't even lukewarm. Bloom and Barrel is great, I wish I had just gotten a pastry from them! I would definitely not recommend getting anything from the Mordisco food truck unless you want to start your morning frustrated with overpriced cold food! read more

On a weekend morning, I ordered my food then drove over here for pickup. Lots of people at the brewery and others waiting for food. I got the breakfast burrito. Pretty filling with eggs, tots, bacon, avo, cheese. Kinda bland for some reason.... It came with sauces on the side but they were both very light in flavor. Not something I'd order again. I also got the pabellón empanada. Definitely the thing to order here! It's deep fried and has a delicious, beef that tasted like it must've been marinated. Very good! I'd order it again. read more

Holy smokes. Now, caveat, I came here after fasting for bloodwork, so I was hungry. But even without that it would have been very, very good. Pulled up to an industrial area near Polaris. Odd. But turns out, they are located at a brewery. Which was packed at 10am. Never seen that kind of crowd at a brewery that early. They were here for Mordisco, and the coffee shop inside. Lots of Venezuelan twists on common items, and some unusual ones. I got the Venezuelan breakfast: meat, eggs, guac, fried plantains, corn cakes, beans, etc. A couple of very good sauces. A nice combo for breakfast, and every item was excellent. Fairly healthy, very tasty, very filling. Sometimes after fasting I want to go to a buffet and stuff myself; this was plenty, and I almost didn't have room for the mini tres leches cake I got to try for Sweetie (I have to make sure it's good first, right? Almost. And it was good. Small for the price, but perfect: moist dense cake, good whipped cream frosting, yum. No drinks, but coffee etc., inside. Tables outside with umbrellas, and picnic tables inside. A cool spot, a nice combo of offerings. Lots of parking but again, at rush times it gets pretty full. Not a local but I can say I wouldn't return. The Christmas Arepa was good but not amazing; it was a 3 star entree. Our son got the Carne Asada bowl (which was $20). My wife and I ordered Tostones and we were very unhappy. I have visited Caribbean destinations, and made Tostones at home, and Tostones are soft, slightly crispy, but still tender. These were very hard, crunchy, and overly crispy. If these were the first Tostones I ever had I would never order them again. I am giving them a star back as my wife went to ask about the Tostones and she was told they should have been soft. They offered to remake them for us but we did not want to wait for another batch. We did get another item in their place. The Tostones are $9 each. Overall, we got three entrees and two sides of Tostones; cost was around $70 and this was not worth that money. As we were preparing to leave they, also, brought out a Tres Leche mini-cake. Does the owner care about the experience? ABSOLUTELY. Maybe we were the rare exception. read more

Fresh, delicious food with fast and friendly service. What can you really ask for? We went to Olentangy River Brewing Company for coffee and saw that they had a food truck front of their place. We ordered the breakfast burrito and chicken quesadilla. Both of the items were delicious, and they were generous with the filling. The portion size is a good size to share or if you are hungry, you can have all to yourself. No judgement here, that food is really that good to have it all by yourself. They give you a buzzer which you can take into the Olentangy River Brewing while you wait. Definitely will be back to try out other food items. read more

Mordisco is a Venezuelan food truck that can usually be found serving up delicious breakfast and lunch fare in front of the Olentangy River Brewing Company most days of the week. On our last trip to ORBC, we ordered the breakfast chicken burrito and the breakfast quesadilla. Both of the items came with sour cream, Pico de Gallo, and a couple of salsas. The portion size of both the items were huge, and the fillings were generous. The gentleman taking our order was extremely nice and helpful. They are located outside of Roosevelt coffeehouse near Lewis center. There were limited vegetarian options and no vegetarian arepa but I requested if they could do a cheese and bean arepa and they said YES :) That made me super happy, it was tiny but filling for lunch! My partner ordered the carne asada arepa and gave it a 4/5 as well. They give you a very nice bag with utensils and napkins as well which was in terms of quality above and beyond for a food truck!! I LOVE arepas and liked the orange sauce more than the cilantro one!! Will definitely be trying again if I come back and am going to try their sister location as well. read more

I'm so happy to review this amazing Venezuelan food truck and even happier that it's parked here in Lewis Center at Olentangy Brewing Co. How lucky are we! I've been in love with Venezuelan cuisine since the Porch first opened up in Lewis Center. I was devastated when they closed - but the food gods have smiled on us again with Mordisco. If you love fresh, wholesome Latin American food cooked with love, and dipping sauces that would make the angels cry, then you've come to the right place. I had the Tempequenos which are like a fried cheese/bread appetizer - look, I don't even know. They're the most delicious thing in the world. Try the cilantro dipping sauce, then try the orange (red bell pepper plus some spice?) one, then try them both together. Heaven! Then I had the chicken and rice bowl. It had fresh avocado, black beans, more angelic dipping sauces - I was soooo full and happy. I will be back very soon. This place is a treasure! The food is really good. My bf and I ate at their truck at the Latino Festival. The pelua arepa especially--so well seasoned and great. The reina was not what I expected--felt like eating a chicken salad sandwich. Even though they look small, one is pretty filling. But it did feel like not enough for the price. I think our group tried every dish in the menus and each received rave reviews, but the standouts were the empanadas which have this crunchy and soft shell and the most aromatic meat inside. The breakfast burritos are downright soothing. The bowls are rich and seasoned to perfection, but the absolute standout item is the green sauce you get with each entree. My husband and I tried this place while staying in town for a wedding. I got really excited about the arepas. So I ordered one of each! My husband had the breakfast burrito. He loved it. Very classic flavors. The quality of the arepa itself was incredible. Some of the insides were extremely salty though. Recommend the carne asada one of you want to try it. This one had the most flavor and rounded profile with the meat, fresh veggies, and sauces. The others that had crumbled cheese or the Gouda cheese on them ended up being salty for me. My friend and I ended up scraping the cheese off to finish it. Great area though and sitting at the coffee house. read more

Unfortunately, my experience wasn't good. The mini empenadas were pre-cooked frozen and lacked any flavor ( I found the brand and site where they come from). I wouldn't recommend them. My Tostones (fried plantains) were so overcooked that I questioned if they were old. I couldn't even cut them with a knife. Unfortunately, I placed my order through DoorDash so I couldn't send it back and they would only $5 for my $20 order. Had I been there in-person I might have gotten better quality on the tostones? I love Venezuelan food and was so excited that this food truck was going to be a permanent fixture at Olentangy Brewing which is close to home and work. I happily envisioned visiting weekly.
