Had the most delicious dinner at Mordisco last night! The Pabellon Bowl with chicken was excellent! I especially loved the green sauce and the plantains! The owner and his wife were so friendly and the food came out quickly!

Fresh, delicious food with fast and friendly service. What can you really ask for? We went to Olentangy River Brewing Company for coffee and saw that they had a food truck front of their place. We ordered the breakfast burrito and chicken quesadilla. Both of the items were delicious, and they were generous with the filling. The portion size is a good size to share or if you are hungry, you can have all to yourself. No judgement here, that food is really that good to have it all by yourself. They give you a buzzer which you can take into the Olentangy River Brewing while you wait. Definitely will be back to try out other food items.

Mordisco is a Venezuelan food truck that can usually be found serving up delicious breakfast and lunch fare in front of the Olentangy River Brewing Company most days of the week. On our last trip to ORBC, we ordered the breakfast chicken burrito and the breakfast quesadilla. Both of the items came with sour cream, Pico de Gallo, and a couple of salsas. The portion size of both the items were huge, and the fillings were generous. The gentleman taking our order was extremely nice and helpful. I look forward to coming back here and checking out their lunch menu.

Caught this truck at the Olentangy Brewing Co after a hike at Highbanks and never knew I needed Chicken Arepas in my life!! Delicious and you get a lot of food! Plus, what a great name!

They are located outside of Roosevelt coffeehouse near Lewis center. There were limited vegetarian options and no vegetarian arepa but I requested if they could do a cheese and bean arepa and they said YES :) That made me super happy, it was tiny but filling for lunch! My partner ordered the carne asada arepa and gave it a 4/5 as well. They give you a very nice bag with utensils and napkins as well which was in terms of quality above and beyond for a food truck!! I LOVE arepas and liked the orange sauce more than the cilantro one!! Will definitely be trying again if I come back and am going to try their sister location as well.

A great burrito at the Olentangy River Brewery event. Food - a great burrito for breakfast. Many of the other customers really liked their other items (vegan bowls, empanadas, etc) Service - this truck gives you a buzzer and will let you know when your food is done. The service was so good, they delivered it to me and then returned with napkins. Ambiance - I was at a brewery/coffee house so 5 stars. Now I bet you are wondering - was I drinking coffee or beer?. Let's keep that a secret

Oh happy day, it's the Mordisco truck!

I'm so happy to review this amazing Venezuelan food truck and even happier that it's parked here in Lewis Center at Olentangy Brewing Co. How lucky are we! I've been in love with Venezuelan cuisine since the Porch first opened up in Lewis Center. I was devastated when they closed - but the food gods have smiled on us again with Mordisco. If you love fresh, wholesome Latin American food cooked with love, and dipping sauces that would make the angels cry, then you've come to the right place. I had the Tempequenos which are like a fried cheese/bread appetizer - look, I don't even know. They're the most delicious thing in the world. Try the cilantro dipping sauce, then try the orange (red bell pepper plus some spice?) one, then try them both together. Heaven! Then I had the chicken and rice bowl. It had fresh avocado, black beans, more angelic dipping sauces - I was soooo full and happy. I will be back very soon. This place is a treasure! And you can take it to go, or go eat at the brewing co. Cute patio, plenty of seats and tables inside or out.

I LOVE Mordisco and will continue to sing it's praises. The Full Equipo Arepa is amazing- full of fresh and delicious ingredients, including amazing plantains. Besides the food, the owners and workers and so kind and enjoyable. Wish I knew about this place sooner!!

The restaurant is bright, welcoming and very clean We were seated in a side room with the bar, a large projection TV screen with the volume on MAXIMUM and two smaller TVs advertising menu items. Those TVs featured some seriously delicious looking items! Service was ok. Drink refills were not offered and I needed one. We both ordered lunch specials advertised for $10.99 but billed at $11.99. Hubs ordered the lunch chicken bowl with rice, black beans, grilled chicken and corn. The corn was served refrigerator cold. The rest of the meal was hot. Overall the food lacked seasoning. I started with a cheese empanada. Expertly made and fried with goody cheese inside. The empanada was served with a dmall side of green sauce that I thought was cilantro based. I ordered the lunch Pabellon Bowl with pork, white rice, black beans and a sweet plaintain Everything on my plate was served hot but also without seasoning making it bland. I used the empanada sauce to add some flavor to the pork and rice. In summary, I wanted to love this restaurant the advrtised images on 2 TVs are gorgeous but the food was bland. The projection TV volume made conversation difficult and service could have been more attentive. This was our first expusure to Venezuelan food and probably our last. I still stand by the fantastic empanada. I would return for that alone.

Not bad but nothing special. We also shared the shrimp ceviche. Good flavor but strange texture with the toasted nuts. The food seems like it's fusion as my friend and I both got chilaquiles but the chips were already broken apart and mixed with the meat. Still tasty but not what we expected. My other friend got the patacon, which basically looked like a salad. Far from the usual plantain fritters with toppings. Only one of my table mates ordered something that sounded like what was expected, the Ecuadorian churrasco: sirloin, eggs, fries, rice, and salad. For dessert, we got the flan and tres leches cake. There was a hair on the cake and they quickly gave us a new slice. Good but the flan could've been better. The cake was good though. Nothing was too sweet which was perfect. Overall the food was good but not as authentic as we had hoped. The service was also a bit slow. It was a slower evening but it took a while to get our drinks. Our server was really nice though. We ordered his recommendations. I'm not too familiar with parking around here but there were parallel spots in front. I parked in the garage at the back. Around $6 for two hours.
