Most authentic Mexican burritos I can find in Columbus! Will always go back!! So delicious

We went to this place twice while visiting Columbus and found it to be good and reliable. The menu prices were very reasonable, especially considering the generous portions. I thought the tacos were solid, but the standout for me was the steak quesadilla--it was amazing, easily one of the best I've ever had, and at such a low price. My friends were big fans of the ceviche tostadas. I'm usually hesitant to order a burger at a taco spot, but theirs was surprisingly good. The staff is friendly, though I will say the food takes a little while to come out. That's understandable since it's a food truck and not a full-sized kitchen. The parking lot felt a bit sketchy, but the food made it absolutely worth it. read more

This review only covers the items I am listing below. And I need to say this is good like Southern California taqueria good. I had the pastor tacos - juicy, flavor full, with a small piece of pineapple as it should be Carnitas tacos - not greasy, yet moist perfect porky goodness. Suerdo (Flank Steak) tacos - really really good, a must have. Cheese quesadilla adequate but nothing I would crave again. Carne asada burrito - a slight more chew than the Suerdo but also good flavor. When I come back I am going to try some of the other meats, but will probably make sure I get a Suerdo burrito. I wasn't a fan of the red salsa, just an FYI. read more

10 out of 10, they don't miss quantity or quality. One of the best mobile restaurants I've been to. Food is so amazing, service amazing they definitely explains stuff if asked in detail. Could be located in a better area but I've never had an issue while there. read more

Best Burrito in Columbus. I have tried almost all their meat choices and Al Pastor was my favorite. Order a Burrito with Al Pastor everything on it and two green sauces. (They cook it with onion to give it flavor but they dont put it on it, which is perfect for me.) Those green sauces are something special so don't forget to pour a little on each bite. Possibly the best Tacos in the city. If you're looking for Authentic Mexican Street food, you will be hard pressed to do better that El Tacoriendo; especially for the price ($1.75/taco or $6.00 for a Burrito). I've been a repeat customer here for about 3 years, and at one point was eating at Tacoriendo 1-2 times per week. Like any other place where your food is made to order there are days where the food taste better than others, but I've never been dissatisfied with a visit. I will likely remain a customer of the restaurant for years to come. Do yourself a favor and give one of there 3 locations a try the next time you're in the mood for some Authentic Mexican Street Food. A great find near the airport for when you've just gotten off the plane and are starving. I got the cecina (my favorite of the ones I got), chorizo, and suadero (my least favorite, but still delicious and juicy). My partner got the barbacoa (delicious), chorizo and al pastor. This is by far my favorite taco truck in Columbus. I do love Los Gauchos as well, but I don't think anything beats Tacorriendo. I've tried quite a bit on the menu, but their quesadillas are some of the best I've ever had no matter what meat you get. The cheese is amazing and they pack a lot in. The tacos are delicious as well, especially the pastor and chorizo, but my favorite would be the cecina. The beef is grilled to a fajita steak texture that's got a great char to it. If you're feeling pretty adventurous, go for the Torta Cubana. It has just about every pork item on the menu, topped with a fried egg. It's a ton of food, so I usually stick to the smaller items. The red and green sauces they make are fantastic. I like things hot and the red sauce packs a punch, but it's not too overwhelming and has great flavor. Everything at Tacorriendo is very authentic and simplicity is they key. If you like your tacos to have the works on them (tomatoes, lettuce, cheese) you won't find that here, just chopped onions and cilantro with grilled onions and a lime wedge on the side. Not only is the food fantastic, you get a lot for your money. Tacos are only $1.50 and the quesadillas are $3. Even the large Cubana, which is the most expensive item on the menu, only comes in at $8. The place is quite busy during the week around lunch time, but they're open from 10 am to 10 pm, 7 days a week, so you shouldn't have much of a wait if you want to check it out! read more

Big, yummy $5.00 burritos! We stayed at the nearby Best Western hotel and I have to say Thank You Yelp! once again for helping me find good food in an unfamiliar town. I ordered five burritos, two tacos, some pop, and some hot sauce. They got the order right, which was awesome because my kids and nephew/nieces all asked for custom burritos/tacos! My chicken burrito was really tasty, especially with the salsa verde they provided. Liked it a lot! (Notice I didn't say "love".) I would definitely recommend this place over the Wendy's and Donato's that are nearby. Their hot sauce was really hot. This place has good tortas, but I would go to the taco truck on Morse Road before I ever come back here because it's way better. I would say they are very good, but not the best. Very good taco truck! We live in Bexley and have been meaning to go here forEVER. Just never got around to it. I finally decided I would ditch the hubby and go on my own. :-) He didn't seem too torn up about it when I told him. The woman in the truck was super nice and my food was ready very fast - I was there on a Monday afternoon after lunchtime, so there wasn't anyone else waiting. Really good taco truck. I got the chorizo tacos (which have become an obsession of mine) and tacos al pastor (seasoned pork). My wife, who is a bit more adventurous, got the tongue, tripe, carnitas and chicarron (which is stewed pork skin, not fried). Both of my tacos were excellent and my wife said that the tongue taco was one of the best tacos she had ever eaten. The tripe taco was really just intestine and while it had a good flavor, I found the texture off-putting. Same for the chicarron.The salsa's we were given were excellent as well. There are some days when I love my job-and other days when I love what I am able to do as a result of my job. Today was a great example of this since I was able to get some fantastic Mexican food thanks to yelp. Even if I had just been driving by, I would have stopped after seeing the line of people in front of this taco truck. Love this authentic Mexican taco truck. Their pastor isn't quite as good as another restaurant I hit up, but they have a wide selection of other meats. I really like the buche which nearly melts in your mouth. They also have lengua, chicharron, and tripa. At $1.50 each you can sample several different pork, chicken, or beef cuts and variations to find out your favorites. The gorditas ($2.50) have a little crunch and a nice chew. Today I had two porky good carnitas gorditas and two buche tacos.
