In all the years I've been coming here, I've never had this happen before, especially on a bill of around $60 for a party of two. I feel this should be clearly disclosed to guests. As someone who has worked in the service industry, we were always told to communicate when gratuity has been added, as failing to do so can come across as misleading and may result in customers unintentionally tipping twice. I don't necessarily take issue with gratuity itself, but transparency and clear communication are important parts of good service.

I am an avid goer to this place and I know the staffing has not always been easy. They really did their best with what they had and the resources. This place was Packed! and well deserved. Most places on this day do first come first serve and I do think they handled that very well. It is not their fault people are impatient on one of the busiest days of the year for them.
