I'm pretty picky when it comes to my ice cream and all I can say is this place hits the spot. For one, the flavors are out of this world. They have different options based on the season, in addition to their usual array of choices. I'm a sucker for all the ones with lots of toppings in there (gotta love the cinnamon churro dough). It's always such a tough decision that I have to sample a few before making my final choice! The staff is always nice about it thankfully. Just note this is more of an ice cream shack, so you'll have to eat outside or take your ice cream to go. It's just a bunch of picnic benches. I have been to Holy Cow many times over the years and I want to love it, but most of the time I've been underwhelmed. I think I just have high standards for ice cream given how many places I've tried. I will say I like that they collaborate with local businesses and the variety of fun creative flavors. I usually get the seasonal/limited edition flavors in pints. However the price has increased quite a bit over the past several years. I have email receipts from as far back as 2021 when pints were $7.99 each. In 2023 the price went up to $9.99 per pint and as of last month the price is $10.99. I don't mind paying more for something from a local business if the quality is there, but the price increases are rather steep and I feel the price doesn't match the quality. The most recent flavor I tried, Key Lime Pie, was okay. Something about both the texture and flavor was lacking. Maybe it was the way the ice cream was packed or stored since it seemed a little airy and not very creamy. The location is in an awkward spot on 114 with a small parking. It seems easier to get into if you're coming from the west rather than the east. Maybe I need to try the fresh scoops instead of the pints? The waffle cones look pretty good. read more

I came on a cold Saturday night and had such a hard time deciding after reading all the flavors on the wall. There server was nice and I got a sample of the pistachio baklava, cinnamon churro dough, and salted caramel brownie. I decided on a small with the salted Carmel brownie and strawberry. The ice cream is creamy, smooth and delicious. This parking lot was full of people eating ice cream in their cars. I will definitely have to come back to try the ritzy af and jackpot. I really hit the jackpot when I ordered the Jackpot ice cream, especially because I love Biscoff cookie butter. Every bite of butterscotch ice cream was swirled with cookie butter and loaded with mini chocolate chips and blondie pieces. It was already delicious, but it was made even better with the addition of the homemade waffle cone! It was served warm and fresh off the waffle iron, and while it tasted amazing, it did make the ice cream melt faster and therefore make my dessert a little messier than I would have liked. Was the Jackpot ice cream so good that I didn't mind it dripping onto my brand-new sweatshirt? YES! Then they put tiny chocolate chips at the bottom which I'm assuming is to stop any ice cream from melting through--such a good idea and makes for a fun surprise at the bottom. Surely enough- I said to myself, ima have the worker pick for me ! So I said to the girl with a gray sweater, tied pony tail- "idk what I want, can you surprise me ?!" - she didn't hesitate or think twice or question anything (other then do I want it in a cup, cone, etc and I picked waffle cone)- and I'm glad she didn't ask me anything more than that because I STILL didn't know what I wanted lol! . She ranged me up, and did her thing . I also overheard her coworker asked if she wanted her to do it instead- she said no- she will surprise me . I waited approximately 3 min- she handed me a big WARM ice cream cone. I'm going to go ahead and say that waffle cone was freshly made. She gave me two scoops of something which had chunks of caramel squares and chocolate, vanilla, chocolate chip. It tasted a bit like butterscotch and something else . The bottom of the waffle cone had chocolate squares and mini chocolate chips and oh. My. Goodness. It was the most delicious ice cream I've ever had !
